Mixed feelings for me, being that I have a lot of family on my Mexican side who are illegal but work very hard in this country.

Also, there are double standards, for instance where I live, if an illegal Cuban makes it to American soil, they can stay. However, if a Haitian makes it, they must go back and their government is no kinder than the Cuban one, sad that no one seems to value putting the horrific things that go on in Haiti in the news. But then starts the whole problem with the media and how much of what happens really makes it to the news.

I really shouldn't comment too much because I am ill-educated on these subjects, but I do see everybody's side.
