My title is "A Crock of Crap "

I do have my fourleggeds micro chipped for a variety of reasons. Most importantly is if one goes awol, their safe return has a higher rate than unchipped.

I wish absurdity was all I felt when I read about this.. I also feel a fair amount of fear that people with think this idea is 'peachy keen' or whatever and jump on the bandwagon. If the precedent gets set by consumers choosing to get the implants then it certainly won't be long before the government starts pushing for mandatory ID implants.
George will be rolling in his grave, I think.

Here ya go...

Revelation 13
King James Version
1 And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.
2 And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority.
3 And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.
4 And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?
5 And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months.
6 And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven.
7 And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.
8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.
9 If any man have an ear, let him hear.
10 He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.
11 And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon.
12 And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.
13 And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men,
14 And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.
15 And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.
16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:
17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.

I agree Ozone. It was the first thing I thought of. I guess it's official. We are now knee deep into the Book of Revelations, aren't we?

I read a recently that any "technological wonder" released into the mass market has already been used by the military for 10-20 years. Funny but they seem to be proud of that - allowing the average consumer to benefit from their dirty work. How generous.

And a fifty dollar bonus, too? I guess the human soul doesn't go for much these days.

When does the revolution start?

I'll tell you what,go to astro.com and look at the chart at July 4,1997(and really look at it),then add 7 years from that date and there you have it!

NOTE:It says it in the bible the exact time(counting it from the days),but I think it's sometime in May(of next year:2004) that everthing starts to change. I got to find it and then COUNT it.

Interesting thread. It caught my eye immediately.

The meanings behind 666 are numerous. If you haven't already, you will find more information on the beast and that number here:
http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum6/HTML/000180.html

There are more threads in Oranges and Hyacinths which touch on that subject. Linda touches on the ideas briefly in Star Signs, under the Forgotten Melodies chapter.

As a side note, the government has made it mandatory by 2005 that emergency and law enforcement authorities be able to directly access the location of a cell phone user, for "safety" purposes. (In case you are unconscious, but were able to dial 911? Or perhaps in case your dog dialed it for you...or maybe you're choking and pushed the button...ok I suppose that's a reasonable enough pretext.)(Why is it that "safety" has become synonymous with "excuse for intrusive legislation"?)

Understand that this is a "chip" that does not need to be implanted under our skin, nor will it take much to get us to accept them, since most of us already own a cell phone.

By the way, as an ex-military person with a certain type of training, I can tell you with certainty, that they have had the ability to pinpoint your location anywhere on the globe for quite some time. This is simply a way of demilitarizing that ability and making it a publicly utilized law enforcement resource.

There are computer programs that track the movement of millions of packages through the US Postal and UPS systems, around the globe. As a software engineer, I again, assure you that it's only a very slight bit of tinkering to use that same, existing technology to track millions of cell phone users and their movements nationwide.

To what end? Perhaps for marketing purposes, perhaps for future security. After all, you never know who will start suggesting that the government is overstepping its bounds. Such people might need to be watched more carefully.

Regardless, it's really of little concern in the long haul.

These are last ditch efforts by an outdated system to hold on to the power that it has wielded for far too long. Consider them death throes if you will.

I don't have to read my cards to know that 2004 will be a crazy year. You just have to look around you and pay attention to your gut feelings. Have you forgotten that 2004 is election year? Presidential mud slinging? Arnold Swarznegger as governor? Have you seen the pope's state of health? The rebuilding of Iraq? Haven't you noticed the media frenzy on Michael Jackson the world's most famous man? Kobe Bryant? I mean all this and more are just about cooking up, and getting ready to boil up on us.

All the Media stuff is interesting, but another thing that I like to stress to you guys is:Look at the things that are in your grasp too... around you as well, you will find it very interesting as YOU will go along. Discover yourselves and you will see what I mean. Take the journey into all that you will find and that all things that are in your heart. Be mindful of the things that you read and see on TV and/or otherwise, but take notice how things effect you. Be wary! SILENCE IS GOLDEN!

It might be a good idea to sow up all your problems, and be prepared for everything and anything. Especially toward the end of the decade and the next. Of course I could be very wrong, but it's better to be safe than sorry. The reason I say this, is becuase Pluto (death, rebirth) is waiting to enter the sign of Capricorn (meaning everything from family, government, religion, and money is going to be touched). I believe the last time Pluto entered Capricorn, there was the American revolution or was it the French revolution? I don't know but you get my point, Saturn and Pluto work together to destroy lots of things. It's not going to be a peachy keen decade. But of course I would be happy to be completely wrong.

I'd say you're dead on the money(notice the really bad pun?) but with a hopeful twist left out. Pluto as you mentioned, is the sign of rebirth and Capricorn takes care of business. There is a rebirth awaiting us that has been sought for millenia. We are approaching that time. By all means, prepare for hard times, but look forward to hopeful times as well. From the ashes of the old way, the phoenix of the new will rise.

While the chip does sound threatening, I am not worried about this technology, it is actually less frightening that what is already out there. At least with this the potential for abuse it blatantly apparent. As you sit transfering files from you pda to your laptop, while drinking you latte purchased on a credit card, and talking to you spouse on your cell phone about the page you are ignoring because you boss is a jerk, remember that you don't need a chip implanted in you to provide the same level of identification potential, there are at least 5 ways that you can be traced to who and where with just the one sentence of activity I just provided above. And those chips are ones no one talks about, attached to your cell phone are your name, and address, attached to your credit card is a record of every purchase you have every made, as well as name, address, social security, and full financial background. Attached to your pda/laptop is any information you have ever entered into it, just sitting there waiting to be gathered up by those who would seek it. Your position can be pinpointed in a matter of minutes by you cell, pager, and credit card. Not to mention, what is stopping them from putting the id chips inside common electronics like cellphones, and pda's. It would be simple, especially for devices that require a card to operate, like GSM based cell phone technology wheer you have to have a simm card to use your service, embed an id chip in the simm card and voila, instant positional object identivication that can pinpoint your whereabout to within a few feet in about a minute, with no invasive surgery. Don't worry about the technology, worry about the people behind the technology and what they intend to use it for.

Hello Grayheart.

It really wasn't the chip itself that most frightened me. Although it certainly does send a shiver up my spine. And I agree with you %100 about cell phones, credit cards, etc. It was their willingness to be so open about it all. I almost prefer it when "they" feel the need to hide this sort of thing from me. It scares me that the Powers That Be don't seem to feel the need for a good old fashioned cover-up anymore. It indicates a certain sense of security on their part. It feels like a declaration of war.

If one was to dwell on it, it could be frightening

They may chip the physical me or the items I use, but they will never chip my soul And that keeps me free of fear in this age of chip espionage. That spiritual freedom is my divine birthright

Loss of freedom is inevitable because no one knows how to pay attention to their Spirit.

You see, your Spirit is God, and everyone has a Spirit, that's why it's true that God is always watching you becuase God is inside you, and all around you.

Where ever you go, your Spirit goes with you, and your Spirit knows everything, and has all the power that you can imagine.

God is just another name for your Higher Self, and your Higher Self is unique, special, and individual. Our capabilities are all equal since we all get to the same point.

But since we are here to learn something we are going to suffer no matter what. It's obvious that our suffering will come from elite men who are attempting to control the world and take away knowlegde and freedom from the mass of people.

Nobody is "sheep" becuase we all have powerful Spirits taking care of each other. The elite men are going to fail, it's inevitable, it has already been ordained that Heaven will be established once again. There will be more than one christ, and the real Jesus will return, but not the way we think. We've been promised 1,000 years of happiness, why be afraid?

God as the Father is an incorrect term.

God is your Spirit and your Spirit was created by a Father and Mother of the Universe. There are many planets besides this one.

The Almighty who is Love and Light created everything and is everything.

The Almighty was never born and can never die. Try figuring out that riddle.

I think thats how Jesus really taught it. I hope I got it right. Jesus died becuase the elite men of the time killed him. The High Priests. We didn't kill him, we were ignorant but that means we were innocent.
