I hereby assign, transfer and relinquish all my rights title and interest in John Heinz Kerry to Canada for one bottle of Molson Hey Canada, it's a hard bargain but it's a take it or leave it proposition. Tuesday, July 27, 2004 10:15 a.m. EDT Kerry Wins Canada in a Landslide In Canada, the land where Al-Jazeera is allowed to broadcast but Fox News is not, voters would choose John Kerry for president - in a landslide. Ipsos-Reid took a poll of Canadians for The Globe and Mail and CTV, and found that 60 percent of Canadians would vote for Kerry and only 22 percent for President Bush. http://www.newsmax.com/archives/ic/2004/7/27/101745.shtml IP: Logged |

Yeah, that would be a direct result of all the media propaganda designed specifically to nail GW to the wall. Michael Moron's new film is doing very well here in Canada as well, and we all know what kind of picture he paints of GW in that movie. Canadians can be accused of being just as easily led by the media as Americans tend to be.Also, I think some Canadians are still sore over not being thanked for "being there" in every way imaginable after 9/11 happened. (what was he thinking???) IP: Logged |

No question lioneye, that was a big time screwup. To not acknowledge the assistance and support of a friend is inexcusable.Even if the President had other things on his mind and I'm sure he did, someone in the State Dept should have said "whoa", what about Canada? I can't imagine it was a deliberate omission but that doesn't make it go down any easier. Still, there was time afterward to make it right and it wasn't done. You don't take good friends for granted. Now, are you guys going to take Kerry off our hands or not? Think of it as a 2 for one deal because you'll also get Teresa No charge for Teresa! IP: Logged |
