So please, don't punish the messenger for this, but maybe I can find out how anybody could feel after reading this passage that was written by a user that was a part of the replies of under the thread "Where is God?" due to what has happened recently in Russia.

NOTE: I do believe that the timeline(of the events) is not correct either.

If the United States continues its policy of a two state solution to the Palestinian problem, God will split this country in half.
Because the United States is forcing Israel into a two state solution.
God will do it to the United States.

For his namesake he will defend Israel.
The Palestinians should pursue a peaceful solution to this problem and seek full citizenship to the Israeli state and be allowed to participate in its blessings.
God will never accept a divided land (Israel).

There will be a strange flu slowly growing in Asia; it seems to be killing mostly men. The experts are saying that the genetic makeup of men is making men less resistant to the strain.

The Republican President Bush wins the Electoral College again.
He will court the Hispanic vote and will get over 90% of their vote.
He wins all the states from Texas to North Dakota westward plus Florida.
Over 200 of the Electoral College.
The rest will be divided between the Libertarian and Democratic parties.
There will be questions about the Florida vote.
There will be contentious debate in the Senate & Congress
People will not accept the result of the election
Blacks will feel cheated and betrayed especially by Hispanics.
Riots will break out all over the country.
White liberals in New England and People all over the South will begin to call for secession from the Union.
White Southerners will be angry at Bush's immigration policies as well as his economic policies.
Northern Liberals will angry at his international policies and his domestic policies.
Blacks will be angry at their perceived lose of political and domestic opportunities.

The Flu strain will start to pick up momentum. People all over the world will start to talk about the pandemic.
It will cause so much fear that men’s hearts will fail them.
They will start saying the end of world is coming, and Men of God will be preaching judgment and repentance.
In the United States, the riots and the coming chaos will get out of hand.
Bush will call out the National Guard. And mobilize the military.
The Southern Democrats and the Northern Libertarians will form their own Government and Secede from the Union
They will call their new country the United States of Atlantica.
It will consist of all the states east of Texas, from Louisiana to Minnesota eastward.
Clark will be there President and Clinton will succeed him. .
The newly formed country of Atlantica will divide their country into 50 states giving the Newly created states American Indian tribal names in honor and respect of the Indian tribes that lived there and to keep the country from fragmeting even more.
There will be pressure to keep the American Flag with 13 stripes and 50 stars.
Bush and his supporters will be forced to set up Government in Austin, Texas.
From there he will attempt to unite the country by military force.
He will fail. His military will be decimated by this new flu. And by years end his wife could govern.
Democratic Hawaii will declare its Independence out of protest of Bush's attempt to unite the country.
Alaska will be taken by force by the Canadian Military to prevent Independence and pay the Government in Texas a sum.
Canada at that time will declare French its official language and require all Canadians to learn to speak French.
The Government in Texas will in response to Atlantica's decision to create 50 states, will also divide their part of the country into 50 states and give American Indian tribal names to the newly created states, also to keep their country from fragmenting.
It will call itself the United States of Texas. Its flag will be red white and blue. 50 stars within a single large five pointed Star.

CHINA

China will invade Taiwan for three months war will rage, but as suddenly as it started, it will end. With the help of Russia, Manchuria will succeed from it and Tibet will declare itself independent. Mongolia will increase in size. And the people of East Turkistan will form their own Government. And they will be unopposed for the flu will decimate China's large and great military and its leaders will succumb to the flu.

KOREA

North Korea will invade the South. For three months war will rage and will suddenly end. When the South enters the North they will find a land decimated and empty. It's people dead of the flu and famine, and it's leaders gone.

INDIA & PAKISTAN

India and Pakistan will go to war and Kashmir will become part of Pakistan. Assam (East India) will declare independence and the woman of both sides will wail with grief for the death of their sons.

GREAT BRITAIN

Ireland will be reunited with Great Britain The religious differences will be gone, for the men who caused such terror and division will be no more.

ISREAL AND THE MIDDLE EAST

Without The United States to intervene Its Muslims neighbors will invade Israel.
Jerusalem will be taken and its women ravished. It is than that Israel will call on their God.
God will intervene on Israel’s behalf and Jesus will be declared their Messiah, their Savior and God.
Israel will retake the Sinai and parts of Saudi Arabia and the East Bank, Gaza and the Golan Heights will become part of Israel.
The Muslim Armies and their leaders will be decimated by this new flu, and the men of Palestine will suffer greatly.

By Years End 60 to 70 percent of the population of the earth will have succumbed to famine, war and the new flu.
The vast majority will be Men.
This will be perceived as a judgment on men for their sin and unrepentance.
For in that day will the fulfillment of the prophecy of so few men will be left that seven women will seek one Man for a husband, saying we will work, just let us be called by your name so that we will not be ashamed.
And polygamy will become the norm.

Israel will rebuild its Temple and Temple worship will be revived.
Christianity is going to change, there is going to be a major shake-up in traditional religious beliefs.
It will include all the religions on earth.
There will be a return to the first century type of Christianity that was free of outward idolatries.
The Muslim Mosques will be turned into Christian Churches. And all Christendom will adapt to the Hebrew holidays.
All of Christianity will unite.
The Vatican will allow their Priests to marry, but they must be the husband of one wife.
The Vatican will move to Babylon for religious reasons.
The United Nations will move their headquarters to the City of Rome for political reasons.
From there will the leaders of all the nations gather, and from there will International law go forth.
There will be a great belief in the soon return of Christ.
The whole earth will prepare for it.
There will be a shortage of workers because of the death of so many men, which will encourage women to bear children and abortion will be outlawed.
This will also spur advancements in robotics.
Technology will increase exponentially.
We will have permanent bases on the moon and regular trips to Mars. And we will search the stars for the Messiah's return.
We will send probes out into the Universe in hopes of finding the returning Messiah.
The days will pass, than the months, than the years and still no Messiah.
The wealth of Nations will flow into the Middle East.
While the people of North America will become more harmonious.
The people of the Middle East will become more diverse. For people from all over the Earth will migrate to the Middle East.
They will come to participate in its prosperity.
The city of Babylon will become the richest and most populist city on earth.
The city of Babylon will become the center of trade and commerce
Than out of Babylon will arise Nimrod mighty hunter before the Lord.
He will be raised in the Vatican of Babylon by the all male priesthood. Where as in the tradition of the Jews, Women and Men do not mix.
He will be told of the time when Men ruled the planet and women where subservient.
He will than start to tickle the ears of the young men who are coming of age.
He will become a great orator, Speaking great things.
Thus the prophecy, he will have no regard for women or the authority they hold.
He will tell the young men of their birthright, and of ruler ship.
So he will gain a great following among the young men. And he will say great things. And perform great miracles in the sight of the young men.
And he will say, "where is the coming of the Lord?, I am your Lord, I am your god."
He will say that the great plague was not an act of God, but was a natural occurrence.
He will say, "We have sent probes into the Universe and nowhere is there a God".
And even the Jewish Temple Priests will wonder after him.
Thus the prophecy you rejected me, but if one comes in his own name, him you will accept.
He will seek to rule the world, (what profit is there, if a man gains the whole world and looses his soul).
He will come in by peaceful means, unopposed, dividing the land between his followers.
He will make sweeping changes.
He will succeed in controlling the wealth of Nations.
He will demand that the whole earth worship him. Than he will enter the glorious land, walk into the temple, declaring he is god.
From that moment on, chaos and destruction will follow. .
For at that time the whole earth will have become prosperous and wealthy.
Thus the prophecy: as in the days of Noah they where drinking and marrying and than sudden destruction.

And shortly after this, is when, Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ will return. And the governments of the earth will be upon his shoulders.

Republic of Texas

The Republic of Texas was a shortlived country roughly corresponding to the present day state of Texas in the United States of America. The northern boundaries with the United States were defined by the Adams-Onis treaty between the United States and Spain in 1819. Its southern and western boundary with Mexico was under dispute throughout the lifetime of the Republic, with Texas claiming that the boundary was the Rio Grande and Mexico claiming the Rio Nueces. This dispute would later become a trigger for the Mexican War between Mexico and the United States after the annexation of Texas.

Before Mexican independence in 1821, Texas was a part of the Spanish colony of New Spain. Texas then belonged to Mexico (as a part of the state of Coahuila y Tejas) until the Texas Revolution. The first declaration of independence for Texas was signed in Goliad on December 20, 1835. The Texas Declaration of Independence was enacted at Washington-on-the-Brazos on March 2, 1836, effectively creating the Republic of Texas.

Four days later, the two-week long Battle of the Alamo ended as Mexican General Antonio López de Santa Anna's forces defeated the nearly 200 Texans defending the small mission (which would eventually become the center of the city of San Antonio). "Remember the Alamo" became the battle cry of the Texas Revolution. The Battle of San Jacinto was fought on April 21, 1836, near the present-day city of Houston. General Santa Anna's entire force of 1,600 men was killed or captured by Texas General Sam Houston's army of 800 Texans; only nine Texans died. This decisive battle resulted in Texas' independence from Mexico.

Sam Houston, a native of Virginia, was President of the Republic of Texas for two separate terms, 1836–1838 and 1841–1844. He also was Governor of the state of Texas from 1859 to 1861.

The first Congress of the Republic of Texas convened in October 1836 at Columbia (now West Columbia). Stephen F. Austin, known as the Father of Texas, died December 27, 1836, after serving two months as Secretary of State for the new Republic.

In 1836, five sites served as temporary capitals of Texas (Washington-on-the-Brazos, Harrisburg, Galveston, Velasco and Columbia) before Sam Houston moved the capital to Houston in 1837. In 1839, the capital was moved to the new town of Austin.

Internal politics of the Republic were based on the conflict between two factions. The nationalist faction, led by Mirabeau B. Lamar advocated the continued independence of Texas, the expulsion of the Native Americans, and the expansion of Texas to the Pacific Ocean. Their opponents, led by Sam Houston, advocated the annexation of Texas to the United States and peaceful coexistence with Native Americans.

The Republic of Texas and the United States
The Republic received diplomatic recognition from the United States, France, the United Kingdom, and the Republic of Yucatán.

On February 28, 1845, the United States Congress passed a bill that would authorize the United States to annex the Republic of Texas and on March 1 U.S. President John Tyler signed the bill. The legislation set the date for annexation for December 29 of the same year. On October 13 of the same year, a majority of voters in the Republic approved a proposed constitution that was later accepted by the US Congress, making Texas a U.S. state on the same day annexation took effect (therefore bypassing a territorial phase). One of the primary motivations for annexation was that the Texas government had incurred huge debts which the United States agreed to assume upon annexation. In 1850, in return for this assumption of debt, a large portion of Texas-claimed territory, now parts of Colorado, Kansas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, and Wyoming, was ceded to the Federal government.

The annexation resolution has been the topic of some incorrect historical beliefs—chiefly, that the resolution was a treaty between sovereign states, and granted Texas the explicit right to secede from the Union. This was a right understood to be implicitly held by all states at the time, and until the conclusion of the Civil War. That having been said, the resolution did include two unique provisions: first, it gave the new state of Texas the right to divide itself into as many as five states with approval of its legislature. Texas retains this right today. Second, Texas did not have to surrender its public lands to the federal government. While Texas did cede all territory outside of its current area to the federal government in 1850, it did not cede any public lands within its current boundaries. This means that generally, the only lands owned by the federal government within Texas have actually been purchased by the government, and is also signficant with respect to offshore oil leases.
