But, of course I don't recommend such action because that would be playing on the same field as the Republicans.)

As you will find LS, the only poll that counts is the one on November 2, 2004.

But, if you insist on tying the election to polls, you might wish to check here for the national but unofficial poll at AOL which shows Bush leading in the nationwide electoral vote 445 to 64. Or, maybe you wouldn't.

With that kind of showing in the polls we can expect the Republican slander and mudslinging machine to kick into hyper-drive.

I can't wait until the next debate between Kerry and Bush. All the questions are about the economy. Wheeeeee Doggie!!! We can expect more of reality as Bush sees it in spite of all evidence to the contrary.

Incidently, Bush did not tell the truth in Friday's debate when he responded to Kerry's statement about ownership in a timber company. Since he sarcastically said, " I own a timber company? News to me!" it was a blantant lie. The true facts show that he in fact does hold interest in a timber company. It was reported in his last income tax return. That explains why he is allowing roads to be built through protected forests. Would we really want to "buy some wood" from this man?

Bad science once again coming from Bush in Friday's debate. He stated that it is good to cut down trees because it would help to prevent the forest fires we have every year. Well, I know he thinks he is God but is he going to stop drought and lightening because that is what causes the large majority of forest fires. Environmental scientists say the burning down of forests is nature's way of replenishing the soil and creating more growth. Much the same as volcano eruptions improve the soil. Farmers know this scientific fact and burn their fields to replenish the soil.

If books were not just "Laura's thing" Bush might know that scientific fact too. Maybe if Laura spent less time smiling up at him admiringly and more time teaching him he would not be just another child left behind. But then again since Bush is always right and never makes mistakes how could she have possibly taught him one new thing?

He was asked by one woman in the audience to name three mistakes he has made and he did not name one. Instead - even though he said he makes mistakes like everyone else and would "take reponsibility for his mistakes" - he told her things he had done right.

Any wonder the poll results came out as they are?
