THE DRUDGE REPORT

CRONKITE: KARL ROVE BEHIND BIN LADEN TAPE?
Sat Oct 30 2004 16:31:19 ET

Former CBSNEWS anchorman Walter Cronkite believes Bush adviser Karl Rove is possibly behind the new Bin Laden tape.

Cronkite made the startling comments late Friday during an interview on CNN.

Somewhat smiling, Cronkite said he is "inclined to think that Karl Rove, the political manager at the White House, who is a very clever man, he probably set up bin Laden to this thing."

Interviewer Larry King did not ask Cronkite to elaborate on the provocative election eve observation.

Love,
Rainbow

Walter Cronkite is the same liberal ninny who declared America had lost the war in Vietnam. He did that on his nationally syndicated news program after the TET offensive.

Fact, North Vietnam lost each and every battle in the war in Vietnam, including their TET offensive.

Fact, North Vietnam won the war in the hearts of Cronkite and the other anti-American members of the press and won the Vietnam war in the heart of John Heinz Kerry, who worked tirelessly on their behalf.

Now, this jerk, Cronkite, alleged Rove is behind the bin Laden tape.

Is there anyone gullible enough to believe Rove and the Bush administration are in contact with bin Laden, have control over bin Laden and direct his movements and actions?

Hello! is there any intelligent life out there in Liberal Land?

Rainbow, Drudge is not my buddy. No reporter or commentator is my buddy.

You need to focus in on the fact I don't join and I don't buy into anyone's fantasy.

My opinions are objective, not subjective. I rip Bush and those rips are directed to and at Bush. Somewhere in the White House is a pile of emails and letters about various subjects I disagree with Bush about.

Where Bush is right, I support Bush. When Bush is wrong....in my opinion, I rip Bush, and I take the time to make sure my opinion is recorded in an official way.

In the war in Iraq and the war on terrorism, Bush is absolutely right and there is no middle ground. Terrorists and terrorist supporting nations must be fought and defeated.. and defeated in the present...not kicked down the road to a following administration. Bush is actually doing the heavy lifting now. Perhaps following President's will be the beneficiaries of Bush's actions in the present but I don't think the President gives a rotten damn who gets credit for defeating terrorists and terrorism...as long as both are crushed in a way that leaves no doubt in their minds they can't get away with the behavior Clinton was willing to put up with.

The President has a plan for the nations under terrorist dictatorships that does not include the terrorist dictators.

Well, the tape did sound like it could have come from the RNC so I'm in agreement with Cronkite. That was probably said tongue in cheek and reported out of context. What Cronkite was probably suggesting is that it sounded like Osama bin Laden was campaigning for Bush. And it did. Coincidentially timely too. Why would Osama bin Laden wait this long into the election campaign to lay that bomb? Why wait until just 5 days before the election to get that tape out?

Today the intelligence people came out and said the tape suggested another attack in it. What a surprise! Add some more fear to Bush's campaign. What a ruse!

Jwhop you don't exactly come off as "objective" on these threads. Anything but in fact.

If you were objective you would see the other side of things once in awhile. Like the fact the people's in the Middle East, the Muslims and Islamics have been at war for over 2000 years and war does not frighten them. Bush's tough talk does not frighten them. A nuclear war does not even frighten them because when it comes to the funadamentalist fanatics of those religions, we are dealing with people who fly planes into buildings killing themselves and who blow themselves up to kill people. All that Bush is accomplishing with this war in Iraq is to throw fuel on the fire and confirm to them that they are right about Christians and Jews and the West. That is all his war is accomplishing.

The difference between reasonable people and brain dead whackos is that reasonable people require some objective proof before deciding a thing is true or not true.

Brain dead whackos only require the slightest possibility a thing could be true to declare it absolutely true.
