On another thread, I spoke of Connie Chung getting fired from CNN for trying to do an expose on THE SKULL AND BONES SOCIETY.....and how dangerous it can be to those who have a good story, but could lose jobs for attempting to do so....*sigh*

Well....here's more...

Mass Media In 'Lock Down'
Not To Cover Vote Fraud

By Peter Coyote
11-13-4

There is a bumper sticker I saw months ago that sums up the current state of affairs in our country regarding what is the biggest news story you'll never see on the General Media reported. It said "IF YOUR NOT OUTRAGED, YOUR NOT PAYING ATTENTION".

On Friday I received a phone call from a good friend who works at CBS--I've known her for years and she is a Producer for some of the news programs, one well known one in particular. She tipped me off that the news media is in a "lock-down" and that there is to be no TV coverage of the real problems with voting on Nov. 2nd. She said similar "lock-down orders" had come down last year after the invasion of Iraq, but this is far worse--far scarier.

She said the majority of their journalists at CBS and elsewhere in NYC are pretty horrified--every one is worried about their jobs and retribution Dan Rather style or worse. My source said they've also been forbidden to talk about it even on their own time but she was ****** and her journalistic and moral integrity as what she considers to be a gov't watchdog requires her to speak out, while be it covert and she therefore asked me to "spread" the word...

She said that journalism and the truth is at stake. She said another friend of hers, a producer at MSNBC, said that an anchor by the name of Keith Olbermann had brought it up on his show on Friday eve and the axe came down. He's at least fighting back and talking about it on his "Blog", but she said that people there are worried that he's going to be fired by higher ups.

She said at this point the only way that the "real news" was going to be if the people started talking about it and made a big enough stink about it to our elected officials, the FEC, and "noise" to the international media, that our own media won't have any choice but to cover it. (Yes, this is really happening in the good ole' supposed "democratic" free press of the US of A).

The only place you'll see this talked about right now is on the internet and on AirAmericaRadio.

Everyone--this is serious....I can't emphasize it any more than saying if there was ever a time to speak up and take action it is NOW. If you are feeling sick to your stomach (like me) about the possibility of 4 more years under Bush and the future of our country, and yet you feel helpless, here's your opportunity to take action.

Imagine if you saw a loved one drowning--what do you do? Well, our country's democracy is drowning and she needs us. In an email I sent you last night, I used the F-word--FRAUD and mentioned to you that I felt strongly that there is a lot of mounting evidence that this election was not clean. I say that not only out of a result of my observations while out in the field as a poll watcher in the key battleground state of Ohio, I say it with the knowledge and information of reports that have been circulating around the country in various voting precincts involving irregularities and problems with the voting machines and numbers not matching up with the exit polls or actual numbers of registered voters in various precincts. I've been busy researching this issue and compiling for you below some details of these reports and where you can get more info:

To believe that Bush won the election, you must also believe:

1- That the exit polls were WRONG...(remember--they have been used for over a decade and considered reliable)

2- That Zogby's 5pm election day calls for Kerry winning OH, FL were WRONG. He was within a less than 1/2 % point margin of error in his 2000 final poll and previous polls for other elections.

3- That Harris Poll last minute polling for Kerry was WRONG. They were also within a 1/2% point margin of error in their 2000 final poll.

4- The Incumbent Rule
I (that undecideds primarily break at the end for the challenger)was WRONG.

5- The 50% Rule was WRONG (that an incumbent doesn't do better than his final polling)

6- The Approval Rating Rule was WRONG (that an incumbent with less than 50% approval will most likely lose the election)

7- That Journalist Greg Palast was WRONG when he said that even before the election, 1 million votes were stolen from Kerry. He was the ONLY reporter to break the fact that 90,000 Florida blacks were disnfranchised in 2000.

8- That it was just a COINCIDENCE that the exit polls were CORRECT where there WAS a PAPER TRAIL and INCORRECT (+5% for Bush) where there was NO PAPER TRAIL.

9- That the surge in new young voters had NO positive effect for Kerry, even though it was the largest number of youth voters 18-29 ever and a huge jump from 2000 and they were over 55% in favor of Kerry. >> 10- That Bush BEAT 99 to 1 mathematical odds in winning the election.

11- That Kerry did WORSE than Gore against an opponent who LOST the support of SCORES of Republican newspapers who were for Bush in 2000.

12- That Bush did better than an 18 national poll average which showed him tied with Kerry at 47. In other words, Bush got 80% of the undecided vote to end up with a 51-48 majority--when ALL professional pollsters agree that the undecided vote ALWAYS goes to the challenger.

13- That Voting machines made by Republicans with no paper trail and with no software publication, which have been proven by thousands of computer scientists to be vulnerable in scores of ways, were NOT tampered with in this election.

Some Examples: (There are many more, but I won't list them all here--this is to give you an idea)

- The City of Gahanna in Ohio discovered a discrepancy that gave 4,000 votes to George Bush. After media scrutiny, city officials have admitted to an electronic "glitch" that caused the problem.

- In Broward County, FL, errors in software code caused a referendum on gambling to be completely overturned. The error caused totals to count backwards after reaching a ceiling of 32,500 votes. The problem existed in the 2002 election as well however the issue was never resolved by the manufacturer of the electronic voting machine.

- In North Carolina, a Craven County district logged 11,283 more votes than voters and actually overturned the results of a regional race.

Nope, none of this suprises me at all, in fact I think that their should be investigatiions into all of this and then if and when they find out that all this election was nothing more then a big time fraud, criminal charges should be brought up!

I can't understand the reason why people wouldn't see this as being an affliction onto our democracy, for all that is worth, anybody taking witness to any of this can clearly see that the secure lives that we are curently living is slowly coming to an end and the information that we are being given of is just a fabrication that "they" want us to have, to move us towards a direction that we wouldn't normally go to!

I believe that the Nazi party did the exact same thing to the people of Germany for a number of years!

None of this supprises me Rainbow, you forget, I'm a Czech American, so all of these things (that have been coming to light) have already been seen within my family, sadly though, I think that they have forgotten about all of that, but I've studied into it a long time ago and that all of the things that you see now, is just a flashback into what has happened into the 1930s Europe!

Make no mistake, if what I think(as to many others do)is going to take place any further, their will once again be another major revolt onto this 4th Reich as well!

As you can tell, I blame the Nazis for even what Communism was!

The first thing that Hitler did in Germany was to take over the media. Though all the media worldwide is owned by only 9 corporations last summer if you remember they wanted to take over even more. That attempt was stopped by organizations such as MoveOn.org, Common Cause and True Majority and the petitons of millions of American citizens. All of these organizations have sprung up out of grassroots movements since Bush took office in his first term.

Yes, "IF YOUR NOT OUTRAGED, YOUR NOT PAYING ATTENTION".

We have lost a lot of our democracy since Bush has been in office. They not only threaten and intimidate reporters and news media, they have placed in this country among the people a code of silence by labeling dissent as unpatriotic and creating "dissent zones" which are miles away from where Bush is speaking. That's not a democracy. They do that in countries run by dictators.

The thing is that those whose support Bush, the Christian Right, are not interested in a democracy, they don't care about democracy, they want a Theocracy instead.

People have got to stand up and fight to take back our country and get these people out of government, Bush and his crew and the Religious Right. I don't mean fight by the use of violence. I mean by protest and demanding the rights guaranteed to us under the Constitution.

This is why much of Kerry's campaign was based on the slogan, "Take Back America."

People have got to start supporting groups like MoveOn.org, Common Cause, True Majority, and other groups that are fighting for democracy. Especailly groups that are fighting for the Constitution because Pat Robinson said he wants to add an amendment to the Constitution to ban gay marriage. Oh not like he doesn't violate the Constitution just by interfering in government.

We have a dictator in this country now folks and anyone who does not see that is blind. We have whackos who promote what amounts to junk religion in our government setting policy with this president and that's in violation of the Constitution.

The thing that Sen. Robert Byrd kept asking before Congress handed over all that power to Bush was "Where's the dissent?" It's up to us, the American people. Do we want our kids and their kids to grow up in a democracy or not? If we do then we better start speaking out.

I have a friend who lives in Edmonton Alberta Canada and she told me that it has been in their news there that the immigration dept. has been overwhelmed by requests for information as to how they may immigrate to Canada since the election of Bush again. The immigration site gets over 1500 hits a day and people are paying immigration lawyers up to $250.00 for consultation to help them immigrate to Canada. Did you ever in your life think that would happen in America where American citizens are wanting to get out of this country? Doesn't sound like he has a "mandate" to me.

My sister is thinking of moving to Amsterdam. She has visited there a few times and likes it. But I told her I need her here. She works at the UAW Solidarity House in Detroit and I depend on her to pass all this information around there and tell everyone else to pass it on to people they know.

One thing for sure, if all of us "blue staters" leave the country the red states are going to be in big trouble. We provide the largest part of the tax base for this country. In fact, the taxes we pay build their roads and water supply plants. We paid for the TVA. Hey, that might be a good reason for all of us leaving. That would bring the country to it's knees. See if they can run the country on the taxes of the red states. Most of the companies they have in those states are dependent on northern and northwest and Calif. industries.

I have a good friend, who frequently visits Amsterdam too, and she loves it!

But why should we exit? What about that gal from NY who said a lot of New Yorkers just wanted to separate themselves from the red states...be their own entity along with all the blue states...

Or as that map showed maybe a United States of Canada?

Rainbow

Lot of people talking about the blue states suceding from the union, Rainbow.

If we did the government and the red states are going to be real hard up without our tax base and industry. And we will take Lake Erie with us. Sorry Ohio but it was your choice. hee hee Indiana can't have anymore of our water either.
