Look what an actual sane republican has to say:
McCain Says He Has 'No Confidence' in Rumsfeld

(CNSNews.com) - Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) said Monday he has "no confidence' in Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld, specifically citing Rumsfeld's handling of the Iraq war and not sending more troops, according to the Associated Press. McCain said he is not calling for Rumsfeld to step down and that President Bush "can have the team that he wants around him." McCain told the AP: "I have strenuously argued for larger troop numbers in Iraq, including the right kind of troops - linguists, special forces, civil affairs, etc." McCain added, "There are very strong differences of opinion between myself and Secretary Rumsfeld on that issue." When asked if Rumsfeld was a liability to the Bush administration, McCain said: "The president can decide that, not me."

Hey BR, that's OK because I have no confidence in John McCain either. In fact, I've had no confidence in McCain since he assisted John Kerry in covering up the fact the North Vietnamese are still holding American POW's.

I know the news weenies wet themselves over a McCain for President push for 2008 but far too many voters who voted for Bush would not vote for McCain and he's unlikely to be the Republican candidate.

So BlueRoamer, McCains remarks about Rumsfeld may make you giddy but for most Republicans it's just another yawner from a guy we consider a media ho.
