Hey guys, I had a quick question about this conflict. I have to write a huge paper on this for one of my poli sci classes, but our library does not have a lot of sources on specific issues. I wasn't able to find a lot of detailed (relatively unbiased toward either side) sources online either so I was wondering if any of you could refer some sources to me if you know of any good ones. These are the issues I am researching and need more information on: Palestinian refugees in Israel- Why the Israelis object, why the Palestinians are convinced they have a right to be there, and what the UN & International Community's views are. Israel's border wars with Syria & Jordan Thanks!
PS: I don't know if this topic is inappropriate for the GU forum. I thought people who knew a lot about this would be more likely to post here, but if it needs to be moved, that's ok.

This couldn't hurt: http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/pages/frontline/shows/holy/ It's a recent Frontline report entitled "Battle for the Holy Land". There's a lot of good links to background reading and text of interviews there besides the video clips. If nothing else, I've known few professors who'd say, "NO! You MUST NOT cite PBS!" Two dollars says that he or she has an NPR mug somewhere in their house, maybe even on their desk *whips out WAMU mug* Wassup. IP: Logged |
