Like maybe the boy shoulda jest been "strung up," 'stead of having a trial by jury.....that way, we'd have had REAL justice, aye?

I can't believe that! I just can't! Not guilty on every last one of em.

A friend says to me "Ya know, maybe he never did do this and it was a ploy on his own behalf to boost his popularity. What if he paid that family to act as if he did this, but of course let the court decide that hes not guitly. Everone would know who Michael Jackson is then." ... but in my opinion, wouldn't it hurt his rep more that GAIN popularity.

Something's, fishy though definatly! :|

Your right PID, he will NEVER learn his lesson!!

So you all think beyond any doubt that he was guilty? Huh. I guess maybe I'm missing something, but I never thought he was. Just because he is a little bit, or maybe a lot, eccentric, society turns him into this pervert child-molestor. But I think that reflects more on society than on the man himself. And because he is a millionaire or billionaire or whatever, you have gold-diggers coming out of the woodwork to try to grab his money by claiming that he abused them. At least, that's my take on it.

Yeah, but Johnny, don't you think that maybe he should exercise some judgement in dealing with children. I get loving children and wanting to give them happy childhoods, but being so closely intertwined with them that you open yourself up to these kind of attacks? That just seems ridiculous.

What about sunrise
What about rain
What about all the things
That you said we were to gain.. .
What about killing fields
Is there a time
What about all the things
That you said was yours and mine...
Did you ever stop to notice
All the blood we've shed before
Did you ever stop to notice
The crying Earth the weeping shores?

Aaaaaaaaaah Aaaaaaaaaah

What have we done to the world
Look what we've done
What about all the peace
That you pledge your only son...
What about flowering fields
Is there a time
What about all the dreams
That you said was yours and mine...
Did you ever stop to notice
All the children dead from war
Did you ever stop to notice
The crying Earth the weeping shores

Aaaaaaaaaaah Aaaaaaaaaaah

I used to dream
I used to glance beyond the stars
Now I don't know where we are
Although I know we've drifted far

Aaaaaaaaaaah Aaaaaaaaaaaah
Aaaaaaaaaaah Aaaaaaaaaaaah

Hey, what about yesterday
(What about us)
What about the seas
(What about us)
The heavens are falling down
(What about us)
I can't even breathe
(What about us)
What about the bleeding Earth
(What about us)
Can't we feel its wounds
(What about us)
What about nature's worth
(ooo,ooo)
It's our planet's womb
(What about us)
What about animals
(What about it)
We've turned kingdoms to dust
(What about us)
What about elephants
(What about us)
Have we lost their trust
(What about us)
What about crying whales
(What about us)
We're ravaging the seas
(What about us)
What about forest trails
(ooo, ooo)
Burnt despite our pleas
(What about us)
What about the holy land
(What about it)
Torn apart by creed
(What about us)
What about the common man
(What about us)
Can't we set him free
(What about us)
What about children dying
(What about us)
Can't you hear them cry
(What about us)
Where did we go wrong
(ooo, ooo)
Someone tell me why
(What about us)
What about babies
(What about it)
What about the days
(What about us)
What about all their joy
(What about us)
What about the man
(What about us)
What about the crying man
(What about us)
What about Abraham
(What was us)
What about death again
(ooo, ooo)
Do we give a damn

ahhh...Rainbow, leave it to you to insinuate that my reference to "learning a lesson" meant to string him up. Funny how your mind always seems to wander into the more disgusting types of venues.

I believe in Karma- a universal sense that what you put into the world you will get back.

I believe that MJ is guilty of extremely unorthodox behaviour that if does not constitute outright molestation, it walks that very fine line.

I also believe from several reports / interviews with his ex lovers / friends that he and his family use severe intimidation to coearce people into testifying on his behalf (either through blackmailing or outright threats).

At the very least this man needs oodles of pyschotherapy and parents should never let their children near him.

Just because a jury deemed him innocent does not mean he is. Remember the law states "Beyond a shadow of a doubt". It only takes a tiny sliver of "hmmm...I don't think so" to let a guilty man / woman off.

The sad thing is, even if he had been convicted, like other pedophiles, he would have received a short sentence and would have been free again.

This case was poorly prosecuted and the victims family was not very convincing. They have a history of trying to extorti money from others. Even if he child WAS molested, his parents ruined his credibility by being less than honest people.

In short, not only did the young boy have cancer, he was exposed to a person that had dubious relations with him and he was discredited on the witness stand. HE now has to live with what was done to him as well as face the chance of his cancer going out of remission.

But hey Rainbow, if you are advocating stringing him up, maybe you should be the new long arm of the law. Your ideas are so draconian - you would have done well in the South.

Hi Johnny.....

I can't say that I ever thought he was guilty...and I can't say that I ever thought he was innocent either......because frankly, I didn't know....So I tried not to jump on the "judgement wagon."

....therefore, I'm not overjoyed that he was found innocent...nor am I banging my head against the well in anger because of the verdit! It just is what it is...

And I agree that he's a strange one, but it does not make him a child molester. He does have a Pisces Moon, no doubt attributing to his idea of himself as Peter Pan and not ever growing up...*sigh*

I can just about guarantee that after this, he will choose not to be sleeping with boys anymore. I think this trial pretty much took it's toll on him...

Would I want my 13 year old grandson sleeping with Michael? No!

Does that make him a child molestor in my mind? Not necessarily.

Yeah, Rainbow, exactly! Well said! He is weird, but it is really impossible to make any kind of a fair judgement when all the information is so hyped up by the media.

Whatever the truth about Jackson's guilt, a California jury delivered the only opinion that counts when they found him not guilty. Which is not at all the same thing as declaring him innocent of the charges.

The prosecution stepped on their own case over and over by putting prosecution witnesses on the stand who surprised prosecutors with their testimony...to the benefit of Jackson.

I guess like the OJ Simpson prosecutors, they never read the legal axiom that you never ask a question in court you don't already know the answer to and you never, ever put a witness on the stand without knowing in advance what their testimony will be.

Some of the jurors said they believed that Jackson had molested other boys, but that they had reasonable doubt as to whether he molested the accuser.

He most definately needs counselling.
