Thought we should finally know what's up around here. Well, it's fun at least.

Your Political Profile
Overall: 80% Conservative, 20% Liberal

Fiscal Issues:
100% Conservative, 0% Liberal

Hmmm...now I figured that I would be 50/50 on social issues, but not on ethics.

i agree , many of the answers were mutually exclusive of the question, i think it was written up by some kind of freakin' politician!!

for instance i dont think carrying a gun is admirable but i think responsible self defense is an inalienable right
and i dont think immigration should be more or less strict, they should just enforce the laws that exist....
also, the war in iraq was "justifiable"(if it had been waged 14 years ago, except saddam was bush sr's "friend" back then), but was extremely stupid now considering the threats from the real axis of terror...

The answers were a bit too black and white (I spent about ten minutes staring at #18)But a fun little trip nonetheless.

I'm not ashamed

Eleanor - you look more Liberal than I would have imagined. And Petron appears to be much more conservative than Jwhop would have us believe.

I used to work for a pollitical survey company. Never again ! If not just because they had me insulting every last individuals inteligence who agreed to take the survey.

The questions where always set up for a very black or white answer- no matter which polliticians campaign contracted us.

Not that anyone needs me to tell them this- every last one was a joke.

LOL, Tink. I know, I surprised myself. The other one we did here sometime ago had me as a centrist. I agree the questions were too black and white but hey, it's just for fun.

You make a good point, Magus. But looking at my score, I must admit that it's pretty accurate.

Hi Eleanore How's the Mommy stuff going? I notice you're waving the Manly P Hall flag. mmmm Manly. Good stuff.

Yeah, these answers to the questions do not adequately convey how I feel on things, but I did it anyway. There should be a more nuanced test, in my opinion.

Thanks for asking, Tink. It's going pretty darn well, if I do say so myself. I love it even though it's a lot of work, at least. The coos and smiles and cuddles are all worth it. I'm just really busy all the time. Even now, I'm typing one handed and holding Mathias in the other, lol.
Here's a link to a pic of his that I posted in the LindaLand Photoshop in case you want to see him.

Oh yeah, you know Manly. Somehow I knew you would.

Here's a different test:
http://madrabbit.net/webrabbit/quizshow.html

It also found me to be about 35% conservative, though the questions and answers are quite a bit better. On their chart I'm at about Bill Clinton's level of liberalness.

well ive heard 2 stories on powell, both are due to his wife

1 is that his wife fears he will be assassinated so she threatened to leave him if he ran for prez....

the other is that she has had psychological problems and colin fears she will be made a target by political smear campaigns if he were to run......

In the uk we have more and more people running on single issues. The concepts of left or right wing came into being at the French revolution and they are prety meaningless now, witness our left wing government behaving all the time like fascists. I hold some views considered liberal and others considered conservative. I would not dream of labelling myself.

Well now Tink, it has been very amusing watching your last post in the French Quarter gradually being edited, as its erroneous nature becomes obvious
. Best not to jump in hastily again. Just a little advice if you'll take it.
