This article from Barbara Bush is in the NY Metro on Thursday, September 8, 2005.

Barbara Bush was making "a personal observation" when she said poor people at a relocation center in Houston were faring better than before Hurricane Katrina struck, President Bush's spokesman said yesterday. Barbara Bush accompanied former presidents Bush and Clinton on a tour of the Astrodome complex on Monday. "So many of the people in the arena here, you know, were underprivileged anyway, so this is working very well for them," she said during a radio interview with the American Public Media program "Marketplace."

WHITE HOUSE DISTANCES ITSELF FROM BARBARA BUSH'S COMMENTS

This is just an example of what so many people still think about us as a people awhole, and still can get away with whatever they want to say no matter what. This article isn't even mentioned on the first page, but it is mentioned on the 6th page at the top in a very small box. I just want everyone to know that this article was not mentioned on the news very much, or that it is even being discussed at all. Please pass this on to as many people as you possibly can to let them know exactly what is going on in this time of crisis with our people.

Although Kanye West has no proof, I believe he has the right idea. I absolutely believe Bush is a racist.

I wouldn't be surprised at all to hear that the Bushies use the N word privately.

The only reason it took so long to get these people some help is the color of the majority's skin.

If this hurricane hit white suburbia, the reinforcements would have been there the same damn day.

Yeah, they were doing great alright, families separated from their loved ones, people forced to abandon their homes, and explaining to their children that their pets, toys and in some cases, their friends, are lost forever...

After her hoity toity observation, Mrs. B returned to her multi-million dollar Houston home.

(did I see her blow her breath on her nails and then polish them on her very expensive lapels?)

Yeah, that's gotta be doctored...

Though obviously a very insensitive, full of herself woman, she wouldn't quite dare go THAT far...at least not in public...I mean she WAS the first lady, and now the first mother, afterall...

For once I am speechless... She really made that statement??

Needless to say, outrageous.

But to keep things even (and my 3rd house cusp is in Libra afterall), when someone said to Hillary Clinton way back before she was running for senator, that he was homeless, she reportedly replied, "Good for you!"

Evil doesn't know of parties. Don't even get me started.

I said she was a fat b*tch. I didn't say she was a republican b*tch.
