Each individual person going within..and finding Self..with God Source..then this Divine Love and Light..From God Source..will permeate the very fabric of this world..

seems like an impossible task..dealing with Love and compassion for every human spirit..to heal..

what would happen if you had no power for 6 months? Think about this?

we are killing our Planet, everyday, and well, MOther Earth has to vomit out all the toxin's we've pored into her..it's only natural..we would do the same thing..

why aren't we living with Earth..cultivating, growing..Learning all she has to offer..with the vast Universe, and source of GOD..

we have to re-verse..the poles..
hear about those glaciers rapidly melting..

if we don't change, we will be forced into it..natural growth..

acceptance will become a daily word..

It's unfortunate that people who want world peace are mocked at and called "hippies and delusional idealists." But these cowards can call us what ever names in the book they like.

World Peac is what every one should be striving for. We should get to know our differences, the different cultures, ethnicities, religions, races, etc, etc, and not divide our selves because of them.

think of how many people are ruled by material things, acquiring as much as they can..these things are not of God..these are things of ego..How do you like my new Escalade? hehe..

I don't think we can force ourselves or others to deal with the rest of the world in a civil and peaceful manner until we've achieved an inner peace. Otherwise, all the nice talk about loving diversity and respecting your neighbors etc. is worthless. The inner demons can't be kept at bay forever. They will always rise to the surface until they're dealt with on an individual basis.

I know you don't , but still you rushed to judgement. I do it too. We all do. We all have those pesky demons. Hence the need for that discipline which leads to inner peace which leads to world peace.

Daydreamer - We can call them inner demons or psychological weaknesses or spirtual blindness or ego or whatever the hell we want, but the fact remains that human nature has some seriously ugly aspects to it which need to be cleaned up before a great and lasting world peace can be achieved. Look at the ugly fights we occasionally indulge in here at LL despite being such spiritualy minded people! Do you think the world at large could do better? The outer reflects the inner ... and the inner needs some work.

Do you behave kindly towards others all the time? I know I don't. I'd like to, and I manage to sometimes, but sometimes I'm feeling cranky or greedy or selfish or arrogant or lazy or blah blah blah and those things get the better of me and I'm unkind. Guess I'll have to work on those things first. I think we can inspire each other and support each other when we are able but I don't think that anyone can do the work for me.

I wish I could behave myself all the time But you're right it's part of human nature. Though I do notice the more I show respect for others and help others regardless of who they are, where they come from, or whatever I get that warm feeling inside There are lots of ways...but like Lotusheart said building that relationship with God Source should be the first priority to keeping those pesky demons at bay. So how do you build that relationship?

yes nature..I've got 2 1/2 feet of fresh snow..I walk outside..I look at God's Church..the ceiling, celestial..the stars sparrkling the moonlight refracts off the snow..bzillions of diamonds..a log is my seat..Mother Earth's heart beat..drums with mine..we are all one..

I guess it's a constant jihad or internal and spiritual struggle. One's faith and connection to God Source has to be renewed everyday. There are different ways to go about it. Personally, Im Muslim so I get my guidance from the Quran, make 5 daily prayers in rememberance of God. I work constantly on improving my behaviour and intentions. Even if I do something wrong I work to correct that action and give more than was asked for.
