I don't believe there's a snowball's chance in hell this ABC producer would have been disciplined by the network if his emails hadn't gotten into the public domain. At least one person at ABC was offended enough to make sure they got out.

If they had been kept within the confines of ABC, all would be well. But he should have been canned on the spot. The fact this guy thought his emails wouldn't cause a stir is an indication of the internal bias at that network.

ABC Suspends Producer John Green After E-Mail Flap

ABC News executives have suspended Weekend Good Morning America executive producer John Green for a month, after two politically charged personal e-mails Green sent to a colleague were leaked to the press, according to two network sources.

In one e-mail, sent during a presidential debate on Sept. 30, 2004, Green wrote, "Are you watching this? Bush makes me sick. If he uses the 'mixed messages' line one more time, I'm going to puke." That message appeared on the Drudge Report on March 23. Green e-mailed his staff the day it was posted to apologize. In his mea culpa, which was also posted on Drudge, Green wrote "I want all of you to know how much I regret the embarrassment this story causes ABC. It was an inappropriate thing to say and I'm deeply sorry."

On March 30, The New York Post's "Page Six" quoted from another Green e-mail, this one about former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright. In that note, for which no date was given, Green argued that [/b]Albright should not be booked on GMA because she has "Jew shame[/b]," the Post reported.

Weekend GMA staffers were told of Green's suspension today.

An ABC spokesman declined to comment, saying the network does not discuss personnel matters.

And this is a personal matter, John Green should have made his analogies by a more personal e-mail or forever hold his "piece"!

You know that their is always a various variety of ways to go about stating your opinion on the net, without the whole world knowing about it!

The man shows a little intelligence and gets suspended...sheese....

The guy gets kuddos from me....

I don't know how many times I've said just about the same thing.

We should all be entitled to our opinions...

'Course I guess he could have been a little more discreet about it...seems one's not supposed to look partial when they hold a position such as he does....

But good lord....look at the stuff O'Reilly gets away with...

Oh well...

That doesn't matter really Rainbow...

...truth has it, it's all about having power and with that, they can do anything that they want, including having someone think the way that they do...

...or else!

My question is isn't the "or else" happening" anyway?
