Every bit of good new out of Iraq is a dagger in the heart of every leftist, including the leftists in the American press and leftist democrats in Congress. So, it's not surprising not much has been heard of the events of the weekend in Iraq where a new Prime Minister was chosen to form the Iraqi government.
This event was put forth by the leftist press....before it actually happened....to be a seminal event, which they doubted would ever happen. Rather, they prayed for a civil war in Iraq to discredit both the Bush administration and the war to topple the butcher of Baghdad's murderous regime.
Now that a new Prime Minister has been chosen which moves the process along, there's silence for the most part in the leftist MSM.
In those reports I have seen, more than half the article was devoted to what the MSM sees as continuing evidence of civil war in Iraq...something which isn't happening.
I've not seen a straight news story on Iraq, focused on the headline or title of the article. Every attempt has been made by the leftist press to discredit any progress being made there.
Up theirs!
Jawad al-Maliki is the new Prime Minister of Iraq. He now has 30 day...constitutionally...to form his cabinet.
Look for hit pieces on al-Maliki by the leftist press and attempts to discredit him and the free elections held there. Look for every event of violence there to hit the front pages in attempts to whip up a civil war in the minds of Americans.
Good news from Iraq is a dagger in the heart of every leftist. That's the reason you don't read or hear about it from the leftist press. Good news is forbidden in the press rooms of the MSM.
Oh God, please send us a catastrophe in Iraq
