i have been reading all these kind of posts for a long time,people polish their debating skills backed up with all sorts of big political talks when it comes to the war in iraq.
Non of you are wining or losing here, its the x country and their people that are suffering.
Mystic Gem u really know ur facts..i really appreciate ur efforts for posting all these articles that others refuse to see.
i know the majority attitude is 'its OK because its happening in iraq, with iraqi people and their children..we love bush as long as its not happening in america, to americans and american children..
why do you look into religion, nationalities,color,races of people dying and then decide if its right or wrong!
if your family is being killed its not a political issue, its murder.
i am not into any political debate here nor a member of 'any haters club'..all i hate is war and politics... what else..
i hate bush,saddam hussein,osama bin ladin,mullah omar and all those who are ruthless murderers and kill for an excuse or in the name of religion (what a lousy excuse)however,the american government has always gone a step ahead..
i agree with u Mystic on most of ur posts,who gave american government the right to barg into any other country and teach the people civilization? did the american government run a survey or ask permision from anyone in this world??...no, well then how civilized is american government?
Why is american government trying to play the role of GOD on earth.., did america create this world?...no, then why are you forcefully teaching others how to run their countries?
9/11 precious trade centre was blown to pieces... it came as a shock to the whole world. with all due respect you still gather on 9/11 to remember your loved ones.... but tell me how many exact dates and years should the people of x countries count to remember their loved ones?...countless dates,days and several years lost because american government wants to play Big Daddy to the world.
lets reverse the situation;
What if a president of any country rammed its forces into america and demanded you handover bush saying 'you know bush is a bad president and killed many innocent people all over the world so thats why we are actually helping the americans', so u give him bush (with pleasure) but he still refuses to leave america and keeps killing americans... what would you say to that?..would you simply call it a political war for a good cause?..
i am not america hater or an iraq lover but i hate the people who support and stand by their government even when you and the world can see ur government is murdering innocent people,be it america,iraq,afghanistan,india,pakistan,israel,uk,korea...

i think if u cannot read between lines then i will have to clarify what i wrote.
i have a tons of friends and relatives in america, i myself lived there for 10 years and keep visiting for summer. what i am saying is that non of them seem to care abt the killing in iraq, they dont even know how many people are still dying.....they are not intrested to even listen...
TO THAT MAJORITY AND ONLY TO THAT MAJORITY I SAID:

i presently live in the middleaest and get alarming news and pictures every single day in the news papers here.
but when i am in america i never saw it to be shown so openly or talked abt in public.... thats why i say what i have said.
my fathers job requires us to always travel to diffrent parts of the world... right now i am in the middleast and boy o, boy i can tell u how much people frm middleeast dislike BUSH...
but i know its not the people of the country its the government thats spoiling the image.

Double, No worries... you and I may not agree on some political things, but that is okay - we are allowed to be different and the world would be waaaaay boring if we all agreed. I just needed to clarify to MG that YOU were not against what she had said and in fact you supported her. I know it's totally none of my business, but I just have to say - if there's anyone around here that's used to having everyone against her, it's prolly MG, so I can understand how she would misinterpret your words, Double, if only out of habit. I know that there are issues that I feel so strongly about that I would react in much the same way, if I thought someone was arguing with me. By the way, I agree with you entirely - if it's your family that is being murdered, politics are a null issue. It's too bad we often get so caught up in the impersonal affairs of countries and whatnot that we forget the human aspect of all this - which is what MG, in a lot of her posts, is pointing out, I think. I'd still like to advocate understanding, all the same, if only because I empathize strongly with her apparent mindset. For whatever good it does, I know how she feels. what would u like to know Tink?.... uae is a very very peaceful place, growing very fast..
Dubai is not the capital but the main happening city, some even call it a small NYC. alot of europeans come here to escape the nasty winter. (its always summer in uae)
compared to america the climate here is very hot!

Tink, its not abt anyone teaching me anything.... MG made a careless mistake because she was in a rush to reply... she didnt bother reading my post in detail.
she was too busy blindly firing at everyone.
i dont hate her .. i still hate WAR.
i support her efforts to post pictures, clips abt the terror of war, u can never feel it unless u see it.
set aside all the politics and just look at the horrible pictures of what war has done to children, not only in iraq...

Whatever you would care to share. The American media tells us little about the UAE ... except for glamorous pictures of rich Euorpeans and Arabs vacationing at expensive resorts and indoor ski slopes. I suppose I was hoping for something a little meatier.

well im afraid Tink thats all the arabs in UAE are concentrating on at the moment.. its getting in rich euorpeans and making expensive resorts.. and yea the indoor ski slope... if ur one of them the uae is waiting for u ..lol!
nothing meaty abt uae its just a very quite place to relax , (getting quite expensive)
the ugly side of uae i would say is discrimination... between some nationalities but that i guess is all around the world!
