I was referred to these series of videos by a friend of mine who was in the Marines in Iraq. He enlisted right around 9/11, did a tour in Iraq and requested to be sent back when his tour was over (contrary to the popular belief by some here that Bush personally sends people to die).This is a series done by a former Hollywood talent agent who went over and spent some time w/ my friend's unit. Seems to me that this stuff pretty much backs up what Leo Bear has had to say thus far about the military, Iraq, what we're doing over there and how it is viewed by the non-insurgent Iraqis. I am sure some idiot will start some conspiracy theory stating that these weren't real Marines, but were actually Actors playing Marines, because everyone knows Bush KILLED all the Soldiers in the first place. I just wanted to add.... great Videos.. I think people from here.. the lefties should really take a look at the this and maybe they will learn something. Like..how about some real respect for our Soldiers? ------------------

 How about from the middle?
Just wanted to say that my husband saw these videos and so have some other folks we know and ... they're pretty accurate as far as military sentiments go. Well, at least as far as I know ... having several friends in the armed forces and living on a military installation. 
Don't get me wrong, I think being in their shoes is something I'll never understand and I do get sad about their situation (well, for all involved in a war situation, really) ... but I wouldn't dream of condemning them (like some others do) for their choice to serve our country the best way they know how. Being in the military is a very difficult and misunderstood way of life, imo. I don't think simply being in the military or having been deployed to a war zone makes anyone "bad". Even if I were one of those people who thought the entire idea of a military and/or military intervention was "wrong", I don't see how I could see myself fit to judge those who are living something I've never even come close to experiencing.  ------------------
