Victor Gonzalez is accused of cutting up the body of the victim, his boss Wilfredo Pintos, after he killed him with a hammer during a drug-fueled argument. Police said Gonzalez, and ex-butcher, boasted that he used three boning knives to fillet Pintos’ body. "He was sorta proud of his handiwork, of his nice, clean lines and the clean cutting at the joints," a police official said.

Gonzalez told police that Pintos’ corpse was too big to fit in the bathtub so he laid him on white sheets and began cutting him apart. Gonzalez then stuffed the body parts in five bags and carried them outside one by one. He dumped the bags in various locations around the Longwood area of the Bronx.

Neighbors said the two co-workers, Gonzalez and Pintos, had been feuding for some time. Pintos had recently started dating Gonzalez’s former girlfriend, Sandra Estrada. All three were together in her apartment when a fight over drugs turned violent. Estrada said she found Gonzalez bashing Pintos in the head after returning from the bathroom. Gonzalez then locked her in another room while he butchered Pintos’ body.

Five hours later, Estrada escaped and ran outside screaming. "He killed my boyfriend! He cut him up and put his body in a bag right there!" she yelled, pointing to garbage in the alley. Wednesday, Estrada refused to answer questions, saying, "I want my boyfriend. I want my boyfriend."
