I believe we have all been guilty of stating things too harshly (I KNOW that I have) and sometimes questioning Religion too aggressively.

No one has ever stated that Muslims are bad or that Islam is evil. Just like any religion, man perverts what he encounters and turns it into something to gain his / her own power. It is sad, but true.

Keep in mind that here in America we are extremely familar with racism. The KKK caused many broken hearts throughout history as have the Neo-Nazi's.

In this country there were people, and there are still idiots that believe this, that felt some people belonging to a specific race were inferior, therefore they were treated like cattle.

This is also true on a global level. Look at what happened in the Balkans when numerous Muslims were slaughtered in the name of genocide, or what Hitler did to those of Jewish decent (as well as anyone that disagreed with him and all those that were mentally challenged / handicapped).

That is racism. Advocating or calling for the extermination of a people based on their race.

I think you are an extremely ugly on the inside human being DayDreamer. You have started this witch-hunt along with a few other ignorant trolls and it seems that you take delight in how it has progressed.

You have never even apologized to Lioneye for slandering her name on other forums. Your hate for her permeates this website and I can think it only can be due to the fact that she has proven her points, she made sense and she never used a racial slur in any post. You were proven wrong, so instead of taking it like an adult, you went off and conjured up a racist thread.

Calling someone a racist is like calling someone a murderer.

Maybe one day you will actually learn from this, but I doubt it. I think you secretly enjoy this evil drama.

In any case, I realize that you may have been a bit crass, yet you have apologized numerous times over it. Being crass and being a racist are two different things.

We have to able to voice our opinions when we feel something is wrong or ask questions when we don't understand.

You had been nothing but cordial with DayDreamer until you finally lost it, which I can understand the frustration. I have only seen you reserve the rudeness for one or two posters in all the time you've been here and Venusian love (and her personalities) got the brunt of it.

I watched as you patiently asked DayDreamer intelligent questions, you posted and qualified your posts with "extremists" and "Not all Muslims" etc... but she decided to pin point you as the racist.

I think she wanted to do it to me, but there was no reaction to my sentence, but there was to yours. Being sensitive (or in my opinion a borderline drama queen) she immediately grabbed onto your words and used them as her banner to portray the perceived unjustice that has been done to her and all Muslims.

Then of course, the regular posters from the left come out.. once again, smelling blood and looking for the prime opportunity to strap those doggie treats their bodies and start on with "Yes..it is racism.... even though there was nothing racists said.. it still hurt someone's feelings (but if it was one of the few conservatives here we'd never say a peep) but hey... let's all gang up on one of them... and maybe we can get them all banned"

Ick....

The funny thing is, I have had my BIG battles with Rainbow but I have never asked for her to be banned. She has asked for me to be banned as did Mirandee based on others asking for VL to be banned- but I find that to be rather hypocritical.

How is it some people can yell and scream for free speech (and that does NOT cover threats, words that incite a riot or Racism - at least here) but when they don't like people disagreeing with them they want them banned? YET... they do not see their own friends doing the same thing?

I never asked that you banned. I stated that at any other site you would be banned. That is all that I said about it on that thread. Ask Randall if I ever contacted him asking that you be banned. Thanks, Isis, that is more in the line of what I said. I stated that what VL said to you, which I also stated I did not condone, was no worse than the things that Jwhop and Pidaua say to people on a daily basis. I stated that if VL is banned then Jwhop and Pidaua should also be banned even though their tactics are less overt than VL's they both are verbal abusers. I stand by that statement. I think it is kind of biased regarding who gets banned around here and who doesn't. I also think it is funny that you can't call someone a wh*re but you can practice religious bigotry around here.

Pidaua called Rainbow, her elder, disrepectfully, " a drooling old hag." I think that's horrible. So did a lot of other people.

When others here at LL that I know tell me they will not come to GU there are always just two names mentioned as to why, Pidaua and Jwhop. That says a lot about who the real trouble makers are around here. Then they accuse us of starting the trouble when we stand up for ourselves.

What amuses me to no end is that both Jwhop and Pidaua actually claim to have "standards" of verbal abuse.

Most of the problems here are a matter of reading comprehension (I'm certainly not the first to have noticed that, I think Tink and Eleanore made mention of it as well), and the honest mistake of not correctly remembering who exactly said what to whom. I've been guilty of it myself. I think we all have at some point. It's hard to keep track of exactly who said what, with the number of posts and posters here.
