first thing first , i feel so excited to see your post , i have been seeing your posts (in between when you posted from greece ) but this one makes super happy after starting the day with an accident ( thank god , there wasn't heavy traffic , so i got saved to see your post ) so are you finally back to home ? as far as mumbai bombings are concerned , i am afraid i feel its not going to stop mainly bcos india doesn't have a policy . and yeah , the more concerning part is , it was carried out by the locals . i remember , i told you something about global terrorism not affecting our muslims , so incase you are reffering to that point , frankly i still stand by my statement . the involvement of the locals is concering but then again , with so big a population , there are bound to be some bad apples . the good part was , the very next , there was a procession taken out by muslims in support of peace and denouncing the violence . the procession was important bcos it happened in the province with the largest muslim population and the then a city which is the birth ground for deobandis ( taliban borrowed thier philosphy from , in parts ) and manmohan singh isn't capable of handling this situation , infact no govt till date have had the courage and the vision to solve this problem . and i am not refering to war , ofcourse it can be used as a tactic but it has limited effect . i have been following the news about ahmadinejad . i will post about him , next time , for sure . be clued ............. and lastly , i knew you would be back but never knew you would take so much time
btw THANKS IP: Logged |

Hi SGA...It's nice to see you and cancerrg posting to each other...noticed there was some rift between you two but never knew what it was. Well regadless it's nice to see you posting here. Hi cancerrg...did you forget about me and that other thread we had Just kidding... ...It does matter if you want to let that one die off. Just make sure I get a surprise on my bday Oh, and Hi AG IP: Logged |

ah day ! how can you even think that i forgot you or your post . that would be too embarssing for a cancerian , we are blessed with the so called best memories and we never forget friends . if u check out the last post in that thread , i actually told you we can't really meet unless you get a chance to come here . its not possible at wagah , i checked out . :::noticed there was some rift between you two but never knew what it was. :::: so you saw the smoke but not the fire so when are you coming to pak , when are you getting married?
and sg , i thought about ahmadinejad and one thing that came to my mind was , may be he is trying for longer innings than the last president . i was recently reading a news piece , where it said , he was tremendsouly popular among women , is a crowd puller even in remote areas . so in a way , he is playing to the galleries , i hope he knows it well , he is a scorp . playing up the jingoistic drum . though i dont deny his right to have a bomb . as far as i can guess this is all a long term startegy with iraq in flames , the middle will require a saviour which iran can easily be . with israel's recent blunder and iran's open support to hezbollah , they are on thier way to a dominent position in muslim world . so in essence , i believe its all calculated and very much at that . if you check out the recent thread about violence that i started , i have had the same line of thinking there too . i feel there is a pattern to all this , politically and astrologically . what do u say ? i would be waiting for ag's and day 's comment too ? so if you people are seeing this , dont wait too long like me ( and too much long like sg ) to post , ok IP: Logged |

Hehe sure cancerrg that's what they all say lol...I do believe you...Aquarians are notorious for being airheads. I found out it's difficult for Pakistani citizens to cross the border...they can't unless they have a visa. Well I dont know what my plan is yet. If I had more time Id join some tour group to travel India myself. Before I visit anywhere I need a good treck around Pakistan first...will even try for Kashmir. I'll be visiting during the Christmas holidays here...so around Dec 21-22 or so I should be leaving. Hehe "when are you coming to pak, when are you getting married?" why does everyone ask those two questions in that particular sequence. If a psychic cant tell me when Im getting married how should I know Ive got people looking for me...my mothers even working on proposals, but shes worried I'll scare the families with my personality. When are you getting married? Still with the cancer you mentioned before? SGA, you around?? When was the last time you were in Kashmir...what parts and is it safe to travel to there from Pakistan? hey AG Whats up how r u doin? cancerrg , yes im back home, good to be home again , totally agree with ur comment that the ME needs a savior...i dont think iran will be it though. iran and syria have their own self interests and they could care less about iraq its a political ploy to gain sympathy of the masses and to be able to make an alliance with syria (which is the most nationalistic arab nation at the moment...for persians and arabs to have an alliance there would have to be some buttering going on there becoz they have SO many conflicts between each other in the past as recent as 1980 irani attack on the kabah, and then the irani iraqi war). its a plot by ahmadinejad i think to gain support in syria and get a route to hezbollah which iran supports, altho i agree he has a right to the n bomb and n power as well. i dont know abt an astrological pattern but i have a feeling things are going to get much worse slowly till they get unbearable and there will be a mass murder warfare, call it WW III or whatever, before things become better again. because even when bush leaves the seed he planted lives and the division created by US foreign policy will live on....there are only two types of ppl in the world, on this side or that, (not according to me but accord to nowadays politicians), so what can moderates do? nothing... hey zala i will be returning but ive got a cold now and was cuddled in bed ready to put the lights out. hehe. i added u on yahoo, but havent seen u add me yet... hehe how have u BEEN!!! hey DD all of pak kashmir is pretty safe particulary after the earthquake last yr its been pretty safe, on the pak side its mainly the inland valley and u wud see natural beauty and stuff like muzaffarabad, skardu and go up near K2 if u want, theres a nice museum near the K2 as well. the best part is stopping at the right places if ur driving up north, like kaghan, swat ( where alexander the great is said to have fought battles, and its a heroic epic garden)...u can see the rivers (neelam, is the one we went to most but it had been in bad shape last oct after the quake, not sure how it is now), jehlum also goes into punjab and theres baran dari there , and the poonch river. if ur into mts see the hindukush and chitral valley realy beautiful stuff. theres a lot of cool ethnic grps to meet, particularly the kalash, and azad kashmiris are very hospitable. and the food is GREAT. each main course is like at least 6 dishes if u go to a middle class to upper class home for dinner itll be like 12 to 14 dishes heheh. hope that helps... Love SG for jammu and ladakh which u wud have to cross the LOC, im not sure how dangerous it is, it wasnt so when i was there, but during nawaz sharifs time it got testy, but now i imagine it wud be a little risky, this seems like a good site: http://www.kashmir-tourism.net/index.html ive only been to srinagar which was beautiful and besides that we stayed in skardu and in paki kashmir.

oh dont be bothered ! btw , what do u two think of an arian-cancer couple , what makes them tick and what doesn't ? just curious! and sg, refering to the third ww , i dont think it would happen atleast not on that scale , the way it happened . low intensity war , war between a few -- yes but a fullfledged one -- no . i dont think , any one has the guts to start that one bcos of the risks involved . neither the nuclear nor the non-nuclear countries can do that .
btw, what do u think of the Bugti's murder , how do uthink its going to affect pak , any repercursions ? will it culminate in division of the country again ? how is the general situation there , if u have any idea? IP: Logged |

Ok. Arian and cancer couple? From the sun signs alone I would say it's a mismatch. Was this set up by or did they meet through the parents or family? But who knows the rest of their synastry might be what makes them tick. Does she have any aries influence in her chart? IP: Logged |

see , in our society , unless the relation goes really sour , it never actually gets noticed . problems are consisderd to be a part and parcel of the things . so you never get to know , if you ever were detined for a soulmate . couples fall in love fully knowing that this is the person that they have to fall in love . ofcourse this arrangement has its pitfall but then again i do believe this social system is still better than what other options that we have . dont you think so ? my sis 's marriage is all well , they are married for too long to think otherwise now they have an arian daughter as well , their only child . btw, what does squared here means ? and what do uthink about the bugti' question , any idea?

Yup I do agree it's a better social system. How old is your neice? My cousin has only one child too. She's over a year old and is aquarian. C'mon you've got to know what squared in astrology means!!! If you look on a chart (360 degrees) they are signs that are at 90 degrees from each other. So for you as a Cancer, the signs that are square you are Libra and Aries...they form the most tense aspects. Here's something more on it... http://www.astrology.com/aboutastrology/interpreting/aspectsandorbs/square.html The Bugti question...your guess is as good as mine. IP: Logged |

hey cancerrg, I dont think Bugtis murder is going to affect Pak for too long. Well, this is what I mean. The NWFP and Baluchistan have always been very volatile paki provinces. Mainly Punjabis and Sindhis have been very active in politics, while in general Pathans and Balochs considered themselves poorly treated, oppressed and outcast. The Balochs have (generally) Arab heritage, and Pathans have Persian (afghani and irani) heritage, and are not very nationalistic or interested in Pak govt or Pakistani patriotism (no loyalty to the gov). Sindhis are directly related to Indians and still talk about their castes 'jaats' etc. Punjabis are generally related to Sikhs (Indian) and some are Arabic etc. Same for Kashmiris except more are Persian. This leads to ethnic conflict. Besides, Punjab and Sindh have more educational resources. This leads Balochs and Pathans in a tribal warfare kind of culture. They also have possession of wayyyy too many arms and have several 'gang' like family enmities that last generations. Bugti was one of the few politicians that has ever supported a Paki established govt. But he was never able to fully suppress the fighting or appease the Balochs, altho a lot of ppl respected him. Still a lot of ppl dont know or overlook that he was also the mastermind of some terrorist people and incidents, so I dont have full respect for him. His death is a symbolic break of the link between Balochs and govt. Someone has to step up to recreate the link. Even if someone doesn't, I dont think that there will be 'civil war'. There will be minor skirmishes as have always been in Baluchistan and NWFP. Because warfare is a part of the culture, the people are very aggressive, and their loyalties dont really lie with Pakistan. I think in general, Although I dont like Musharraf, I dont hate him, he has good and bad points, but I do dislike him generally (policy wise). One thing I will have to give him credit for is stabilizing warring factions. I think he will masterfully stabilize Baluchistan by buying out different groups in opposition to each other. As unethical as that seems it has been done in the past and will probably be employed again--a good short term tactic to quiet down the tribes. Hope my opinion is clear, whats yours? Also in regards to your sis marriage combo and the cancer/aries girl, I think in the cancer aries combo if the man is aries it helps, cancer women are homemakers and aries men generally settle down after about 30 yrs or so. They also like traditional women and both of these signs have very intense emotions. Their modes of expression, action, and sensitivies are vastly different--but it would be difficult if the Woman was aries (fire women are very independent and have an extremely difficult time adjusting to overly sensitive or emotional people), and the man was cancer (traditional and expecting certain conservative ways from the woman). Also Aries is the 'macho man' traditional male sign, cancer is the symbol of femininity, so it can work. I just think that the Cancer will be continuously emotionally wounded, but she will learn to interpret Aries' love. Arian men are the most romantic sign of the zodiac, and she will appreciae this, because deep down the Cancer girl wants to be wanted. She has a never ending insecurity. The Aries man will have a harder time adjusting because he needs a partner that is more of an intellectual warrior to balance his action oriented nature; he also needs someone with his energy level and child like enthusiasm to understand his heart. The aries man is a child at heart; although the cancer woman (motherly) may baby him, she will never be a true companion at his level like, say a gemini woman could, or be able to fulfill his requirement that his partner be smarter than him (like an aquarian woman). Aries men basically like to be superior in strength but secretly like their women to be intellectual empresses or style queens (Leo women work very well with aries men in general). One area of great compatibility would be that Aries is easily jealous, and cancer will never give him reason to be so. Because shes so obviously loyal (and sometimes too much--clingy, whiny), he will always feel loved and never jealous or enraged. I think the combo has BASIC problems, but some positive points that can be built upon. Cancers quite frankly are too easily read and simple to provide an Aries challenge--Aries is too abrasive and warlike (they really do like destruction and aggression), to stop hurting Cancer continually. Its not doomed to failure however. With time as Aries matures and Cancer becomes less insecure, it could work. Love SG IP: Logged |

Well , i dont have much idea about baloch problem but the general media impression is that its the next bangladesh in making . but i think , most of the media missed out on general's abilty to buy up warring factions as you pointed out .thats a dampner for us. btw, how would the compare the two situations balocha and indian kashmir , regarding the stance that we have . and who do u think has a better track in maintaining human rights . india or pak ? regarding the aries/cancer combo , i agree almost word to word with you . i have the same views , infact this is something that i have felt myself . i dont really attract aries female (though i haven't really met up them too )
i think the only thing that this combo misses is the depth of emotion that we cancers seek . i'll give you an example , i have some very close friends among whom are the two air people , a libra and a gem . other two are scorp and pisces (most probably) but the kind of depthness that i feel with say, the scorp is nowhere visible with others . though the one person who knows alomost all my secrets is the libran . and infact the scorp is the newest entrant in the list. now, see the contradiction. what do u think of a cancer male /leo female combo ? and one more thing that i need ed to know about is a gem boss ? how would u define him ? what do u think how honest are they in business relations ? what is their philodsphy in professionla relations ? do u think they have insecurities ? what in their subordinates interests them and lastly and more importantly how do u think they can be manipulated ? better start with the last question? shall be waiting ...........
hy day ( you know , your user name sounds so cool ,especially when i pronounce 'day' , yours is my fav. username , better keep it short to day only) my niece is almost fourteen . IP: Logged | |
