God this woman is mental. But I guess it is okay for her to want to kill an infant since she is a left-wing wacknut. She is using her son's death to promote her own psychotic agenda. She needs medication and fast!

Cindy Sheehan: Confessions of a Dangerous Mom

PASSIVE AGGRESSION: The right-wingers who think nothing but the worst of Cindy Sheehan probably won't change their minds after reading Peace Mom. In the book, which hits bookstores September 19, the antiwar icon admits she has fantasized about going back in time and killing the infant George W. Bush, thereby preventing the Iraq War. In fact, she reveals, her son's death in that war almost drove her to take her own life: "Every night I had to restrain myself from taking my entire bottle of sleeping pills instead of just one." Other targets of her vitriol:

• John McCain, whom Sheehan calls a liar for denying that he once responded to her question about why her son had to die by saying, "Well, Cindy, I am afraid it's going to be for nothing, like my buddies in Vietnam." McCain has denied that on another occasion he told her, "You keep doing what you are doing. America needs to hear your voice."

• "Baby blue-eyed" Anderson Cooper, whom Sheehan derides for doing a "hatchet job on me and investigating me with a vengeance. He dredged up everything I ever did or said." She says her sister had to be restrained from beating up Cooper at the end of their interview.

• John Kerry, whom Sheehan regrets voting for in 2004, saying that she was "unimpressed."

• Hillary Clinton, whom she considers "a conservative in liberal clothing... We don't need another powermonger in the White House."

• Stephen Hadley, Bush's national security adviser, who smiled when she once asked him, "Do you guys stop and think sometimes, 'Wow, I really work for an idiot'?"

Yup, she's mental. But how can we not have sympathy for someone who went mental after her young son died in war? She's by no means the first. The very fact that she thinks she could have prevented her son's death by killing an infant George Bush shows me she lacks a certain level of understanding. No wonder she hasn't processed the death well.

She was most likely mental before her son died.

Hi Pid
Is married life blissful?

I feel so sorry for Cindy Sheehan (I can't help it)
if I put myself in her shoes
I think I'd want to die
acceptence has got to be really hard
and justification (to her) even harder
after losing a son.
that poor lady needs grief therapy

Hi Lalalinda,

Yes, I love married life, but it will be better when Bear comes home for ANCOC in December. We're both leaving in March for Germany and we'll be there until at least late December 2008. I'm excited!!!!

How are you doing?

I do feel sorry for her but I have never paid much attention to what she says because I feel like she is being used as a sort of pawn. I have my own reservations about the war and there isn't much I take at face value these days. It seems like a lot of people either enjoy or benefit from the division we have going on in this country right now.
Lashing out and wishing the president dead doesn't seem moral to me, either. I guess I really am looking for the voice of unity......who knows...
On a lighter note, I know she hates the president but did she have to bash Anderson Cooper? I mean, come on...... I think Anderson is the man! Now, I know I can't trust her.........LOL

Cindy Sheehan is not the only mother who ever lost a child in a war, yet I don't hear and never heard any of the same trash coming out of their mouths.

But she is one who has lied about her son..in that she said he was against the war in Iraq...when he had reenlisted and was proud of what he, the rest of the US military and the United States are doing in Iraq to help free the Iraqi people.

Cindy Sheehan has been a radical leftist most of her life and it doesn't help her cause that she was funded, directed, controlled and managed by the extreme radicals at Code Pink who staged every event and interview.

Neither did it help her cause by saying the United States is not worth dying for.

In effect, Cindy Sheehan spit on America, the honorable service of her own son and every man and woman who ever served in the United States military.
