It just explains how governments try (and do) use every power they have (manipulative, exploitative, competitive, etc) to brainwash the society they want to control. It's mind rape. And until America cares about it, they won't wake up. It goes to show that terrorism is not just a foreign thing like the heads of state try to persuade people to believing. Terrorism is within our own culture. Terrorism is everywhere, its in our homes (spousal abuse & domestic violence), in our schools, but most of all its in our government(a simple way of knowing that is through the countless political campaign ads every mid-election, emotionally disgusting) and its life-destroying consequences are being reaped by people who "just didn't care".----Coming from a woman who loves (neptune5) ------------------

Loony Fish.....I'm sooooo glad you "poked your nose" into GU.....You have as much right to be here as everybody else... ......this is, after all.....a "community forum" .......and you're part of our community, gal! So welcome here to GU...... ....and THANK YOU for the very meaningful contribution! I'm so glad you shared! The thoughts expressed in that "Open Letter to Apathetic America" have been on my mind for awhile now, and I find it "unsettling" to say the least... ....I think I once referred to the apathy as "novocain in the brain." We need more people to 'WAKE UP!" .....and I certainly hope they do.....  Thank you again LoonyFish........and PLEASE COME BACK....

Hi Lotus.....  Hey...can you identify those Masters? And how did you get your inside information? I'm loathe to believe that there are any Masters mixed-up with that NWO league! It's always been my understanding that a true Master could only identify himself to another Master....They don't divulge Their spiritual status to those who have not reached that level yet.... You support war, Lotus, Bush's wars anyway , so sorry, but war is a negative thing and therefore you are supporting negativity. That is unless war with the killing of innocent men, women and children and total distruction of countries for at least the 20 different reasons that Bush and Co. has given to the American people which he now says had nothing to do with what happened on 9/11 is a postive thing with positive energy to you. Also it is feeding negative energy to allow all your rights under the Constitution to be taken away for any reason. Unless of course you believe that giving up all of your freedom is a positive thing and therefore positive energy. The NSA can now legally read all of our email correspondence. Thanks guys! Glad you enjoyed the post.Actually, jwhop, I think lioneye might have a valid point. The problem with the average American citizen may not be apathy, it may be denial.
The cognitive dissonance caused by the clash between what we believe our government should be and what it actually is could bring about denial as a necessary defense mechanism. ------------------

LoonyFish....I wasn't "catching lioneye's drift" as in the past her views have not been sympathetic with mine concerning bush and his criminal cronies...... That was the reason for the question mark following her post about "denial!" I'm still not sure I get it....could have been some facetiousness involved there.....it was not exactly specific.... ------------------

I hear ya, Rainbow.Don't kNOW about "in the past"... However, it's been my experience that those who oppose us can provide good insight on a situation in spite of any attempt at "facetiousness" or sarcasm. My personal theory is, that if we are standing on the bedrock of Truth, the Higher Self, of even our most rabid opponents, ackNOWledges and supports that Truth without our opponent even realizing it.
You have to really look for it sometimes, but you might be surprised how often this holds true!

LoonyFish.....this is "off topic".....but I just had to tell you how magical I find "the mystical mountains of Tennessee"I love and adore them....I'll bet the smokies are beautiful right about now too, huh? Cherokee N.C. holds a special place in my heart too....there is a certain "mystical tranquility" I pick up on at the Indian Reservation there. I fail to see the humor there, jwhop......most particularly since your funny little comment was directed at me! ....and you've never heard me say I thought cheney and bush were shape shifters.... .....on the other hand....since you're really BIG on defending them, and what you apparently feel may their ability to shape shift....I think thou doth protest too much....and can't help but wonder if it's not YOU who are the shape-shifter..... Who's not to say that one could be minding his own business down there in Florida when suddenly he encounters one of those ferocious 'gators.....then right before his eyes, that 'gator '"shifts his shape" and turns into - YOU!
