If the president can say that, why do we have people on this forum accusing others of being unpatriotic or disloyal to their country simply for criticisms?

1. They cannot tolerate freedom of speech if it disagrees with their thinking.

2. It's hate based. They have to have hate targets.

3. It's easier to dimiss people or some idea that is different than yours if you label and catagorize them or it.

4. They were taught not to question anyone in authority but instead do as they are told.

5. They see the president as right up there with God. Sort of like those who used to worship and bow down to kings and queens.

6. They need things neat and organized in their minds. They need to have all the answers as any kind of doubt or questioning makes them feel insecure.

7. They have a warped idea of patriotism. Their thinking is "my country right or wrong."

8. Some people are just by nature or upbringing narrow minded. Limited in their focus.

More things could probably be added to the list but it's all really pychological in nature. There is just a strong need in some people to always be right.

To all leftist twits...Bush did not at any time say Iraq 'could be Vietnam' all over again.

Yet, this is the headline coming off ABC news. Why the President would even talk to George Stephanopoulos, a Clintonista in Commander Corruption's utterly corrupt administration, a Clintonista who perjured himself in front of several Congressional Committees, a Clintonista associated with those who trashed the White House in January 2001 on their way out...why George Bush would even sit down with or breath the same air as this leftist idiot is beyond me.

And now, ABC has decided to mischaracterize what Bush said in their headline. Iraq is not like Vietnam..only in the dimwitted minds of leftist twits and brain dead morons.

And now, someone asks why some question the patriotism of leftists...leftists who wish to surrender to the Islamic terrorists in Iraq and with that surrender to the worldwide Islamic terrorist movement. They question why some would question the patriotism of those who declare the US cannot win in Iraq, those who compare US military forces to the guards in Soviet gulags, to the misbegotten murderers who slaughtered their fellow citizens in Cambodia, to those Nazi concentration camp guards, those who call US military forces terrorists and those who give aid and comfort to America's enemies in a time of war.

Hello, the President is constrained by convention and custom to soften his words about political opponents. The rest of us are not. Neither are Bush political opponents observing any conventions or custom when they daily demonize him. The idea these leftist morons are due any respect, that their motives, patriotism and loyalty to the United States cannot be and should not be questioned is laughable.
