The Democrats' Free Mumia Caucus
By Michael P. Tremoglie
The Evening Bulletin | December 15, 2006

Three days before the 25th anniversary of the murder of Philadelphia Police Officer Daniel Faulkner, the United States House of Representatives passed a resolution, "Condemning the decision of St. Denis, France, to name a street in honor of Mumia Abu-Jamal, the convicted murder (sic) of Philadelphia Police Office (sic) Danny Faulkner."

The resolution was introduced by Pennsylvania Republican Congressman Michael Fitzpatrick on behalf of himself and Representatives Schwartz, Shuster, Sherwood, Dent, Pitts, Weldon, Holden, Brady, English, Murtha, Platts, Murphy, Pearce, Peterson, Gerlach and Hart. The resolution passed the House by a vote of 368-to-31 with 8 voting present.

Now who could possibly object to a resolution condemning a town for naming a street after a cop-killer?

Thirty-one Democrats in the U.S. House of Representatives can, that's who. Specifically, those 31 Democrat Congressional Representatives are:

Neil Abercrombie (Hawaii), William Clay (Mo.), Carolyn Kilpatrick (Mich.), Robert Scott (Va.), Barbara Lee (Calif.), Jose Serrano (N.Y.), Emanuel Cleaver (Mo.), Cynthia McKinney (Ga.), Fortney Hillman Stark Jr. (Calif.), John Conyers (Mich.), Gregory Meeks (N.Y.), Edolphus Towns (N.Y.), Jim Cooper (Tenn.), Jerrold Nadler (N.Y.),Tom Udall (N.M.), Danny Davis (Ill.), James Oberstar (Minn.), Nydia Velazquez (N.Y.), Raul Grijalva (Ariz.), Major Owens (N.Y.), Maxine Waters (Calif.), Maurice Hinchey (N.Y.), Ed Pastor (Ariz.), Anthony Weiner (N.Y.), Mike Honda (Calif.), Donald Payne (N.J.), Lynn Woolsey (Calif.), Jesse Jackson Jr. (Ill.), Charles Rangel (N.Y.), Eddie Bernice Johnson (Texas) and Bobby Rush (Ill.).

Those voting "present" were also all Democrats. They were:

Sam Farr (Calif.);
Al Green (Texas);
Luis Gutierrez (Ill.);
Sheila Jackson-Lee (Texas);
John Lewis (Ga.);
George Miller (Calif.);
Janice Schakowsky (Ill.); and
Melvin Watt (N.C.).

Among the Democrats opposing the resolution condemning the honoring of a cop-killer are members of the Congressional Democratic Party leadership. Some will be powerful committee chairmen when Democrats take control of Congress. Some are whips or deputy whips. Most notable are:

John Conyers, who wants to impeach President Bush and who will be chairman of the House Judiciary Committee.
Charles Rangel, who will be chairman of the powerful House Ways and Means Committee, who keeps insisting on a military draft, who erroneously keeps claiming only poor people serve in the military and who wants to rescind all tax cuts.
Fortney "Pete" Stark, who will be chairman of the subcommittee on Health and who has been campaigning for years for socialized medicine.
Maxine Waters, who is a chief deputy whip, who was named one of the most corrupt members of Congress by a watchdog group founded by a former aide to John Conyers and Democrat Sen. Chuck Schumer.
Jesse Jackson, Jr., son of the "civil rights" leader.
Barbara Lee, co-founder of the Out-of-Iraq caucus.
Lynn Woolsey, co-founder of the Out-of-Iraq caucus.

Some of the Democrats who voted "Present" (meaning they did not want to vote for the resolution or go on record opposing it) also are House Democratic leaders. They are:

John Lewis, senior chief deputy whip.
Jan Schakowsky, Deputy Whip.

These will be the Democrats who will hold the reins of power in the House of Representatives now that the American people elected to Congress in 2006 "moderate" or "centrist" Democrats, many of whom were "military veterans" or even more ironically "law enforcement veterans."

These are the people who accuse the Bush administration of conducting an illegal war and violating the Constitution?
These are the people who want to tell us what to do about terrorism?

When have these people ever been concerned about legality, truth, justice, the murder of innocent people, or the Constitution of the United States?

One has to wonder if the people who voted for Democrats this past election knew about what the Wall Street Journal appropriately dubbed the "Cop-Killer Caucus" of the Democratic Party.

One has to wonder if all those "moderate Republicans" or "true conservatives" who wanted to teach Republicans a lesson this past election, by voting for Democrats or not voting for Republicans, are proud of themselves for helping to make such people leaders of the Congress of the United States of America at such a critical time.

One can only guess what John Conyers, Lynn Woolsey, Charles Rangel, Maxine Waters and Pete Stark will do to condemn and prevent terrorism when they refuse to condemn the honoring of a cop-killer by the French Communist Party-controlled city council of St. Denis, France.

He has a radio show in the mornings over here.

I wouldn't really go by that website though because they do blame everything on Democrats which is typical of red necks.

I actually wasn't surprised when I clicked on that link and saw this:

LOL of course YOUR news source is gonna bad mouth Democrats you dummy

Fear this? LOL what a great message to send out to the world.

And then people wonder where the hate comes from when we get attacked.

Facts are facts and idiots are idiots.

There was a resolution which passed the House and those dimocrats voted against it...or Present.

Further, if it's not too much information for the diminished capacity brigades to handle, they might want to check out the source of that story.

For those who can read, they'll find the source of the story is the Evening Bulletin...yes, just as the article says,...3rd line from the top.....reprinted in Frontpage Magazine.

Now, if anyone wants to dispute the FACTS of the article, be my guest.

Mumia Abu-Jamal is most definitely NOT "doing a radio show over there". Mumia Abu-Jamal is in prison awaiting execution on a First Degree Murder conviction.

Nice try though...especially since it was your best efforts.

No one needs to "beat" you TP.

All that's necessary is to wait long enough for you to self-destruct, as is your usual pattern.

Only in NY, eh TP? Perhaps we should build a fence around NYC.

"American Pie" actress turns herself in at NY court"
Fri Dec 15, 2006 2:40pm ET"
By Jeanne King

NEW YORK (Reuters) - Actress Natasha Lyonne, the star of "American Pie" accused of threatening to sexually molest a dog, turned herself in at a New York court on Friday.

A bench warrant was issued for her arrest in January after Lyonne, who has also appeared in "Blade," and "Scary Movie 2," missed four court hearings.

The 27-year-old faced a number of charges including criminal mischief, harassment and trespassing after accusations she threatened to sexually molest her former neighbor's dog and ripped a mirror off the wall during a 2004 argument.

At the Manhattan Criminal Court appearance, drug counselor Heather Hayes said Lyonne had completed an in-patient drug program in February and continued to attend outpatient rehabilitation groups.

Judge Anthony Ferrara said the charges would be dropped if the actress stayed out of trouble for the next six months.

In the court complaint, Lyonne's former roommate claimed Lyonne trashed their apartment and then banged on a neighbor's door, rushed into that apartment and picked up her dog, telling the woman, "I'm going to sexually molest your dog."

Lyonne pleaded guilty in 2002 to driving under the influence of alcohol in Miami. She was fined, sentenced to six months probation and 50 hours community service.

Well, I see you know who this person is...which is more than I can say. I never heard of her until I saw the story.

I don't clutter my mind with bullsh*t.

You do seem to have the bad habit of bringing up people's names on this forum who are not present on the thread or part of the discussion.

Admit it, you are clueless as to what Juniperb thinks or enjoys. If you don't have the courage, common sense or decency to address members here directly and when they are taking part in a discussion, it's probably a good idea not to make inflammatory remarks "about them" at all.

Well I was a bit confused about Juniperb initially...cant help it if most of her posts are ambiguous. "Courage," "Common Sense," "Decency" are funny words coming from YOU!

I still have a problem with her double standards...she'll pop up here in GU and say some not so nice things when TP appears and posts. Yet she failed to say much when I was being harrassed by a pack of racist or biggoted wolves...except that lioneye had a deep passion for equality and pid for her country by the sh!t they were spewing. Oh, and In fact she denied my concerns and why I was upset and she had the offensive audacity to post Islamic saying about how I should stop warring with myself through other people and how I could work on my weak imam. Thats fine hypocrisy at work!
