I have a question about something a rapper said during the aftermath of hurricane katrina, he said that george bush dooesn't care about black people, and did anyone find any evidence to prove that is true or not?

(even though i feel bush's actions, what he did, and did not do, speak louder than his words, and serve as good evidence)

and is it true that the majority of white leaders (99.9%) don't care about minorities?

Not really white people but white republicans. I have seen some very nice Republicans though.

My business law teacher said it's about statistics and because many black people/minorities don't vote for them that they could care less about them.

And my teacher was sort of a republican.

New Orleans is mostly black people but also white.

This needs some explaining Nept5.

Would you care to elaborate on the theme you suggested or was this just another throw-away line in your quest to put down someone you don't like?

I think it's a gross and irresponsible generalization to assume that a massive group of people all feel the same way about ANYTHING. You can't paint every politician with the same brush. Heck, alot of them are black, for pete sake. So, blacks don't care about blacks? This is just a lame attempt to demonize people. Like gossip or something.

lioneye,

i never made any generalizations, all i was stating were questions and comments that were brought up after Kanye West (rapper) decided to say 'our president don't care about black people', and if you want to address people making 'gross irresponsible genralizations' then i definitely suggest you directing those words to the national news media and Kanye West.

and jwhop,

I would never belittle, crush, or 'put down' anyone that I didn't like. If I didn't like them I wouldn't say anything about them, i only say things that are honest, it may seem negative, but its only said to give someone else a broader view of the person, as well as give that person a practical look at themselves. I addressed some basic things that someone as aggressively intellectual as you should know, as well as you know your residence address or social security code. I said she ignores her family, and its true she does, she spends more time at republican social gatherings and with the Bush family rather than acknowledging her own. She doesn't have a sense of self, she stands behind the pres. with unwavering support of failing policies even though she knows the difference between right and wrong, even after she was rudely questioned at the 9/11 commission for mistakes that GWBush made, which was nothing but a modern day lynching, yet, its not that she can't speak up or do whats right, its that she won't . And all this stems from her career, confidence, and will power being bought by frankly said, the rich white republicans. So, even though in the past when she was a child she experienced terrorizing by KKK nightriders, in the present, its not in any measures appropriate for her to think, feel, speak, or do anything or with anyone that international society generalizes as Black.

and jwhop, you seem rather arrogant to me, i don't know what made me think of that, but intelligence should help someone humble themselves, not elevate their pride, even though in this world thats not always the case. But consider Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi (Mahatma Gandhi).
