In case you don't want to read the link, a woman in KC gave birth to a premature baby that died when police refused to get her help during a traffic stop- and she kept telling them she was bleeding.
WTF is going on lately, with cops and women?

MK  I don't believe it's a cop problem so much as a social problem in general. The position of cop is filled by the average joe and it's a position of power, control and authority. A potentially dangerous position when entrusted to the wrong hands. Unfortunately, their are just far too many wrong hands out there lately. IP: Logged |

I didn't mean it to sound anti-cop. That wasn't what I was feeling...it is more of a societal thing. There's just a bit too much in the news lately with the curtailment of women's freedoms with regards to law- and it freaks me out.BTW- Heya TINK!!! How are you? MK IP: Logged |

Cops  I hope she sues the hell out of them...the baby lived 1 minute..how sad, it could of been saved somehow, maybe? people have tried to make the argument the baby was already dead, or cops deal with liars all the time...SO WHAT? doesnt make it right, they could of taken her to the hospital... if she had be escorted to the hospital..possibly saving her baby,

Hi MK I'm good. You?I hope I didn't sound anti-cop. My uncle was a cop. I hold no animosity toward them as whole and I respect what they do. I just have an knee-jerk suspicious attitude towards any and all positions of power and authority.  Society seems to be producing too many who lack the will-power and discipline to meet the challenge of those positions, if you know what I mean. Consider me freaked as well. IP: Logged |
