For sure! But how much time does he have left in his term? Less than a year at this point. By the time everything was figured out, he would almost be out of office.

and who would he be replaced by? my point is, more scum, as 99% of all politicians are scum who cater to their superiors, the big banks and corporations who load their pockets. that is who they answer to, not the common person.

and if their is a politician who happens to be for the person, like ron paul, who OBVIOUSLY won the republican debates recently, according to viewer polls. But media will grossly under represent that person, for instance, claiming Ron finished 9th at best, and not even mentioning him most of the time. Yahoo doesn't even have him up in their election 08 page.

so, I support the impeachment, as a statement to him that he can not get away with the countless transgressions he has made, but sadly, I see impeachments shortcomings, as he will just be replaced by another lying crook.

I agree with carlfloydfan on this one. It's a little late for impeachment.

I keep getting emails speaking about this from various groups. I don't even bother to read them any longer let alone sign the petitions.

Bush only has 6 months until the Nov. elections. It would take longer than that for all the legal procedures that have to be followed to be accomplished.

People have been calling for Bush's impeachement since his first term. Nothing was done about then and now, even with the new Congress it is too late.

People just have to be very careful and selective about who they vote for in the Nov. elections.

Hopefully it isn't going to be to Hillary Clinton who is selected by the Democratic party to run for president. We need someone who is new, not anyone who has been around long enough in Wash. D.C. to owe too many people favors for getting them where they are. Hillary Clinton is owned by corporations just like Bush is. So is anyone who has been in Washington for a long time.

Best case scenario:

Dennis Kucinich and ron paul squaring off.

Dennis Kunich is from my neck of the woods, Michigan. Like the guy but I also like Barrack Obama. Obama is fairly new in politics so he doesn't owe a lot of people yet. I am not that familiar with Ron Paul.

Can you post some info on him here, carlfloydfan?

Why was I thinking that Bush only had 6 more months to his term? Must have been just wishful thinking.

Anyway, Jwhop straightened me up on what year this is. LOL

Even so, it just takes too long with all the legal formalities to impeach a president and Bush's term would be coming to an end anyway by the time all that was accomplished.

Even with the new Congress we can't even get a veto over turned so how are we going to manage impeachment?
