If you like Paul, spread the word, lets have him as president in 08! Nothing is impossible! If you don't know who he is, do your research for a few hours on youtube, google, ect. If you like what you see/find, tell ten others (family, friends) about him and tell them to spread the word to ten others if they like him. Eventually, people will know who he is, despite the medias obvious attempt to keep us in the dark about Paul! May 28, 2007 Congressman Ron Paul now has twice as many YouTube subscribers as all of the other Republican candidates for president combined. Here are the numbers: Paul - 12,103 Romney - 2,059 Giuliani - 1,429 McCain - 1,291 Hunter - 413 Huckabee - 342 Tancredo - 211 Brownback - 111 Gilmore - 60 Thompson - 0 Total - 5,916 Congressman Paul also has twice as many YouTube subscribers as Barack Obama who has 5,988, and nearly four times as many as Hillary Clinton who has 3,517 subscribers. If i was an American i'd be voting for Ron Paul.. Hopefully he gets in in 08 not just for Americas sake but for the sake of positive evolution around the world. TO be the president of America is one of the-if not THE most important jobs a person can have on this earth. Lets hope Americas next election is taken abit more seriously than the last...i want to see EVERYONE voting! IP: Logged |

Ron Paul does seem like a good, honest man. I have been reading more things about him and he does appear to not be a strict party liner and he is consistent. However, the sad truth is that he doesn't have the qualities that the vast majority of Americans vote for, he doesn't have the personality and charisma it takes to win an election in this country. He also isn't a well known name by most people in this country in spite of the many years he has been around. I doubt he will get the nomination from the Republican party for those reasons. The not being a party liner would probably be the outstanding thing to go against his nomination. Our elections have been for years and years, since the 60's and JFK, personality contests. If a candidate is not charismatic and well known through media PR they simply cannot win an election. We could run Charles Manson and he would probably win just because the voters know the name. I think many voters just go to the polls and vote for familiar people who come off well on T.V. Being sarcastic here. But I think there is some truth in the sarcasm.

Ron Paul must be gaining popularity, carlfloyd. Read the other day that he is being attacked by those in his own party and the Democrats. He must also be a very honest man and not on the take or both parties wouldn't be attacking him so much. Right now I am very disillusioned by the do nothing Democrats. Don't trust either party so at this time not sure who I would vote for. Depending of course if a "national emergency" doesn't happen between now and the next election and there won't be an election. Oh, I meant to comment the other day about this. It's true. I've seen headlines about how Ron Paul is the contender most blogged about. Also, you'll be happy to know, Carl, that I saw my first Ron Paul for President '08 sign out on a lawn Thursday.IP: Logged | |
