I think she has spoken more sense in one go than any politician ever has, even if you add up everything they've ever said and put it all together!!

I thought it was very well-spoken, very adult. I do wonder if there is an adult ghost writer attached to what she said.

I thought parts of it were a little dramatic. I don't think species are going extinct on a daily basis, and I don't think rain forrests have been replaced with desert (and I also think it's a little fatalistic to imply that re-planting is not an option).

It was a good speech, though.

Severn Sazuki is a very smart little girl with very real concerns. Her family should be commended for supporting her views and supplying her with the resources to have attended this event.

Excellent post

She does make some good points, especially her question about whether previous generations had to be concerned over these things.

AG, parts of the rain forest have been replaced by desert, in a sense.
