Find out how a country would fare if you ruled it... Ever wanted to rule an entire country? Now you can - Virtually. With questions about political issues and such, this will show how your country would fare in three different aspects: Civil rights, economy, political freedoms.
This test was inspired by NationStates, a fascinating online nation simulation game, and also derived from forum discussions regarding how in-game choices can affect a country's stats. My Results Were: NY Times Democracy Your nation's freedom (70% overall): 82% civil rights, 47% economy, and 79% political. New York Times Democracy Civil Rights: Average Economy: Average Political Freedoms: Above average Try it out if you like ------------------ Sendin' love your way, "your friend in spirit" IP: Logged |

You might even be this kind of ruler ------------------ The good life, as I conceive it, is a happy life. I do not mean that if you are good you will be happy - I mean that if you are happy you will be good. ~ Bertrand Russell

That was annoying. I answered their questions and then demand I not only sign up but give over a bunch of personal information. A dirty trick, IMO, pressuring me to give the info AFTER I do the test, so I'll be encouraged to give it to them. But I don't play that kind of game. Oh, they'll never use it or sell it. If anyone believes that, I've got a good deal on swampland in Death Valley for you. I figure that if I gave them everything they wanted it will just tell me something like what I'd probably want to hear so I'll use them and/or consider their services before (or even while) they sell the information I'm giving them. Ok, my bad. I somehow missed that it was optional (so I'm more annoyed with my missing that than with the site) and once I just hit Finish without answering, it went away.Civil Rights Lovefest Civil Rights: Above average Economy: Average Political Freedoms: Above average IP: Logged |

Your Score: Left -wing UtopiaYour nation's freedom (67% overall): 86% civil rights, 23% economy, and 87% political. Civil Rights: Above average Economy: Below average Political Freedoms: Above average My test tracked 4 variables How you compared to other people your age and gender: You scored higher than 99% on civil_rights You scored higher than 99% on economy You scored higher than 99% on politic_freedom You scored higher than 99% on overall_freedom Actully I am sure it is no surprise to anyone at GU that I drift to the left in the political scheme and that I am an idealist who believes in equal rights for all people in the world and that politically a nation is judged by how well it treats the poor and underprivleged in it's society. How the Native Americans viewed homosexuality: In many Native cultures, particularly before 'white' influence made homosexuality and/or crossdressing taboo, homosexuals were revered as being very sacred beings. It was believed that homosexuals were born being part of both male and female worlds, and could serve as kind of a liason between the sexes. Called 'berdache', they were often given as wives to a clan's most valued warriors. In many native american cultures one was considered blessed to be born homosexual.
