This is not surprising.

There are a lot of reasons why these things happen.

First off, this shouldn't really reflect on the military, there are idiots everywhere who do this sort of thing. I hope you are not implying that just because someone threw a puppy off a cliff that the entire military is no good.

Most US soldiers on the ground in Iraq are army troops. Army troops tend to be young, and have IQs that are not especially impressive. Put that together with the stress and essential lawlessness of war torn Iraq and you will see things like this.

Also, it appears that this is fake. THe dog was already dead or he threw a stuffed toy.

What if these schmucks are naturally attracted to the army for that reason?

They probably are.

It's better than them becoming criminals or murderers roaming free in society.

I"ve always thought that criminals/military/police are of a similar psyche. There's a certain element in the mind that attracts one to violence etc..

But whats the point Mannu, are we supposed to not have a military?

I read a article this morning saying that the puppy could be heard screaming as it was flying thru the air ... think we'd hear the same type of screams if they were thrown from that cliff?

DOWN RIGHT DISCUSTING!!

If the US media is indeed majorly liberal owned as claimed by the replican people , I hope they will report it without bias.

Lets see how this pans out tonight.

Again, I must ask- how does one awaken the unawakened such as him?

Throw him off a cliff perhaps?

Remember, the guy who starred in MTV's movie the Jackass with all that antics. He ended up in Jail for theft.

Time will give justice to this souless creature also. And he himself will do it to himself.

Even human beings are fragile, deep down.

Every human being has been a baby, within the great Dimension of Time.

Deep down, there's a child within all of us.

We just need to recognize this,

This innocence,

This fragility,

This beauty,

The Divine Spark

In each and every living creature.

I think you're misunderstanding him. He wouldn't condone such an act.

I hope you were kidding.

When I first read the story, and watched the video, it made me sad. Then I thought about all the other stories that get brushed aside in the media that are about innocent Iraqis...and it makes me sad that people are more upset about a puppy then thousands of Iraqis stories that we never get to hear, and when we do hear them, nobody seems to make a uproar about it. I wish people were more UNITED about the human toll.
