>>>sex with 13 year old
Jeez, that is more deviant than what the majority of democrats have been accused of.

I think these right deviants must be given a crash course in using the two guns. One is for sane firing and one for sane fun.

And who can forget the hypocrite conservative Iowa senator Craig, who was accused of tapping his foot, touching an officer's foot and moving his hand along the bottom of a stall. Oh please, don't fend this by saying that he has a wider stance when he is ready to deliver that giant ****

Well praecipua, leftists are a bunch of hypocrites.

Still, why direct this thread at me? I seldom have anything to say on "family values" issues.

Mostly I post about political/financial/governmental issues and when I talk about hypocrisy, it's usually directed at leftist icons not some bottom level leftist activist.

There's hardly enough spare hours to even hit the high spots of leftist hypocrisy..and lies as it is. I don't need to expand my horizons to include everyone who works in some city, county or state democrat administration or on a commission somewhere.

Generally, when Republicans get caught over the line, they resign. When leftist democrats get caught, they get standing ovations from other leftists and hold on to their positions, as did Gerry Studds when he was caught in a sexual relationship with a Congressional male intern, was censured by the House, turned his back on the Chair while the censure was being read and got a standing ovation from the leftist congressional members in the House. You see, it's just expected that leftists and democrats are morally, politically and financially corrupt. They get cheered for their corruption.

Republicans resign.

I must applaud Gerry too. Atleast he wasn't another deviant raping 13 year old. Or touching parts of 16 year old.

And kudos to Obama for standing up to scrap the hypocritical "don't ask don't tell" in the military
I think the leftists are better than republicans when it comes to policies to be applied on humans rights.

Republicans sexual pattern indicate they are repressed people. Senator Craig for example, whose moment of truth was quoted above. He is an anti gay but quite the opposite person in public toilets

there's a detail that has been omitted here. in the U.S you seem to view liberals and liberalism as leftist and conservatism as right wing. well two things here:

1- liberals are not leftist but right wing. leftist are socialists and communists.

2-"leftists" such as socialists and communists(a pejorative word in the mouth of a U.S citizen) are actually very well considered in most part of the world. they bring hope wheras capitalism brings misery. and it's not because they are demonized in the U.S that the world follows. unfortunately for the U.S, they evolved alone on this subject.

from a socialist perspective, liberalism is as dangerous as conservatism.
from a european point of view, U.S conservatism is what we consider extreme right (with a dose of puritanism to look good). its values are wildly and openly rejected by the european masses, not intellectuals but by the common man.

from a U.S perspective, liberalism = left. that's because socialism is demonised.

do you see how the U.S evolved separetly from the rest of the world? only in the U.S you could find the following quote, opposing conservatism to liberalism. for a european (or most places in the world) liberalism and conservatism are the same.

having said that:

“Liberalism is trust of the people tempered by prudence. Conservatism is distrust of the people tempered by fear.”
William E. Gladstone

“If you're a liberal, anything you say is protected. If you're a conservative, anything you say is hateful.”
Laura Schlessinger

“I'm not a leftist; I'm where the righteous ought to be.”
M. M. Coady

“More socialism means more democracy, openness and collectivism in everyday life.”
Mikhail Gorbachev

“More socialism means more democracy, openness and collectivism in everyday life.”
Mikhail Gorbachev

One of the reasons the United States is not a democracy. We're a Republic with a republican form of government guaranteed to every state. The founders, Washington, Franklin, Adams, Jefferson, Madison et al, believed democracy was the most vile system of government possible.

Gee, I wonder why the United States needed to spend trillions of US dollars and the better part of 50 years protecting Western Europe from their little socialist friends in the Soviet Union...since you say socialism and communism are so well thought of in Europe. Simply fascinating.

Socialism and Communism are not well thought of in the United States...except by brain dead leftists...who are socialists and communists and who are in no way liberals. These leftists however hide behind the word "liberals" because what they really are makes Americans want to throw up.

In the United States, it's leftists who are forever attempting to regulate everything, write rules, regulations, policies and procedures to cover every breath an American takes...hint Hillary, O'Bomber, Kennedy, Reid, Pee-losi and the rest of the most radical leftist demoscat congress ever convened.

I don't see much of a free future for Europe. Even now...as I type this...there are those who are unelected and unaccountable who are busily writing rules, regulations, policies and procedures to regulate everything and everyone in the European Union.

The Constitution of the EU was supposed to be voted upon by all the people in the member nations.

When the leftists..socialists and communists found out that wasn't going to fly...they simply imposed their Rule and went ahead anyway, just as though they had and have the authority to do so.

This is the nature of Socialism and Communism..you know, the political/economic system of which Europeans think so highly.

It's a system which destroys nations and peoples, it's restrictive and is the opposite of freedom.

There are those in the United States who have wet dreams of converting the United States into a little socialist gulag..to be joined to the rest of the world in a little one world socialist gulag.

I know where this is going. The only question in my mind is how many of them we're going to have to kill to dissuade them.

It's no surprise that "Democracy" is brought up so often as our form of government. Even the current President has called us a Democracy, and boasted of bringing Democracy to Iraq.
quote:

The great democratic movement President Reagan described was already well underway. In the early 1970s, there were about 40 democracies in the world. By the middle of that decade, Portugal and Spain and Greece held free elections. Soon there were new democracies in Latin America, and free institutions were spreading in Korea, in Taiwan, and in East Asia. This very week in 1989, there were protests in East Berlin and in Leipzig. By the end of that year, every communist dictatorship in Central America* had collapsed. Within another year, the South African government released Nelson Mandela. Four years later, he was elected president of his country -- ascending, like Walesa and Havel, from prisoner of state to head of state.

As the 20th century ended, there were around 120 democracies in the world -- and I can assure you more are on the way. (Applause.) Ronald Reagan would be pleased, and he would not be surprised.

We've witnessed, in little over a generation, the swiftest advance of freedom in the 2,500 year story of democracy. Historians in the future will offer their own explanations for why this happened. Yet we already know some of the reasons they will cite. It is no accident that the rise of so many democracies took place in a time when the world's most influential nation was itself a democracy. -- Remarks by the President (Bush) at the 20th Anniversary of the National Endowment for Democracy United States Chamber of Commerce

well, here, let's not transform history to suit one's ideas. because if the U.S spend "trillions of U.S dollars and the better part of 50 years protecting western Europe" it was in the U.S interest, namely, to prevent europe (an economic partner of the U.S.) to be attracted by communism.
not philanthropy but geopolitic. nothing wrong with that, except when the truth is transformed.

with that i agree that it can become dangerous sometimes. especially in the light of the film endgame i posted here. to much concentration of power isn't necessarily a good thing.

in the state it's wall street.

are you saying that government should always listen to their citizens? i think so too. but that wasn't the attitude of the british government for the war in iraq. before it started, 1 MILLION people demonstrated in london the same day.

if i didn't know your political views, i could have believed you were talking about capitalism.

who'se talking of freedom again?

This is the difference praecipua.

While you in Europe have allowed your governments to disarm you. We have not and we will not.

You, if you mustered up the determination to fight back could not. We on the other hand can and will. There are an estimated 250,000,000 firearms in private hands in the US. These are not pop guns but high caliber optically scoped rifles and high power hand guns, many with laser sights. One other thing, we know how to use them and when.

Whether your world view is one where you see the hand of a secret organization working behind the scenes to impose a tyranny over the whole world with themselves as the "Overlords" or a socialist, communist plot to convert the US to socialism so we can be rolled into a one world socialist gulag, the result will be the same. We will simply kill them.

acoustic, I'll take the word of Franklin as to what form of government was established by the US Constitution...over yours...any day.

We've had this discussion before acoustic and you are just not mentally capable of getting it. Neither do I give a damn what Reagan or Carter, or Bush, or Kennedy, or Commander Corruption said...or anyone else. The facts are crystal clear.

But for others who may think the US is a "democracy", I give you the words straight out of the US Constitution...the most authorative source possible.

Article Four: Section 4.
The United States shall guarantee to every state in this union a republican form of government, and shall protect each of them against invasion; and on application of the legislature, or of the executive (when the legislature cannot be convened) against domestic violence.

Jwhop, don't say that you don't care what some of your favorite presidents have said. We all know by now that that's patently untrue.

I'm not disagreeing that we're a constitutional republic. I am merely pointing out that our Presidents further this idea that we're a democracy all the time.

America is on its way to fascism.

Watch closely the news of sonny Bush going out of way to greet the current Pope. The previous popes used to pray for a dictator Mussolini during world war.

All the right wing nuts (extreme) worship Papa and sonny Bush for a reason.

And is it a surprise that the first post reminds one of Caligula's orgies

Washington DC is filled with "capitol" ass people, running prostitution rings and performing beastiality, and all forms of deviant practices.

70 million of Catholics in America go to church and perform the ritual of drinking wine (blood) and bread(flesh), while its military kills every body in its path in Iraq. Is it hard to guess why catholics will chose Hillary first and then Mccain over Obama? They want to continue their fascism in their churches as well as in their states. They want to continue ban on birth controls and to have more numbers in their church. The more the numbers of poor people in the world, the more the church can be in power.

I know I am taking chances by being arrested by an undemocratic government such as that in America. But I will stand by truth no matter how painful it appears.

Disclaimer:

People must not take my word, but apply it to your lives and see if what I am saying is the truth.

Now that your thinking cap is on:

Why does the pope want to address a huge crowd in new york's football stadium on April 20th? That day happens to be Hitlers birthday. Coincidence? Fact is stranger than fiction.

Mannu, yet again you confined a whole religious group in a tight knit little hole. Would you be surprised to know that Pope John Paul the second was so respected by the leaders of all three major Theocatic religions that he actually was invited to pray within the Umayyad mosque in Syria, and he actually kissed the Holy Quraan; An act which actually infuriated extremist Catholics. Not to mention he actually went to the Holy Wall in Jerusalem and placed a letter of forgiveness on behalf of Catholics for the percecution of Jews.

Not to mention he condemned the action of dictators, quote:

"In 1984 and 1986, through the voice of Cardinal Ratzinger, leader of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, John Paul II officially condemned the Liberation theology which had many followers in South America. Oscar Romero's attempt, during his visit to Europe, to obtain a Vatican condemnation of El Salvador's regime, denounced for violations of human rights and its support of death squads, was a failure."

He was also a vocal critic of the Iraq war, stating that "it was up to the United Nations to solve the international conflict through diplomacy and that a unilateral aggression is a crime against peace and a violation of international law."

I really advise you to do a bit more research before placing absolutions on a religious community.

I am not exactly thrilled with Benidict's papacy but I will not condone an entire Catholic group within a pre-lead notion of extremism just because he just happens to be the current Pope. I can certainly see how Islam has taken a beating over the action of extremists and I certinaly do not wanna see another religion being taken down the same road; Especially when you consider the fact that Pope John Paul the 2nd grew up under a Nazi occupied Poland.

Xodian,

You sound like a religious nut to me. Perhaps too ready to join a fascist club of Jwhop. whether islam or catholic . These are different flavors of fascism.

Anyhow - Instead of giving me a chance to answer my own question. You went in to a defensive mode with foolish arguments and later in to a "preacher" mode. Like a "typical" religiously abused person on planet earth.

Anyhow back to the topic, when the catholics in Italy were praying for Mussolini, the German people were praying for Hitler.
The point I want to drivel in your religious nuts is exactly that. All organizations , institutions , governments follow the doctrines of fascism. The idea of fascism that PreCup hehehe...posted here said that too.. Its about corporations getting bigger and bigger dominating the masses.

You can say I am more like Thomas Jefferson (whose birthday is coming up soon I think) and other rebels during his time. But remember, I am not their reps also. These forefathers fought for "liberty" priciples. They were not interested in big governments. The golden truth got corrupted over 200 years of American freedom. Obama cannot change anything. People will kill his spirit. And for that matter any one who stands for truth.

These corporations could never liberate you. They will issue "fatwas" and all that crap to kill you. Better die than succumb to these nuts.

You would be surprised acoustic that I once sent a letter...a real letter to Reagan castigating him for using the word "democracy" to describe the United States.

I only listen to anyone...Presidents included when they're making sense.

How odd, Mannu talks about "thinking caps". Imagine that, a "non thinker" talking about "thinking caps" he's never seen and wouldn't know what to do with if one was handed to him.

I agree praecipua. let's not attempt to rewrite history, which you are clearly attempting to do.

Right! The United States had "selfish motives for protecting Western Europe...and forgiving all those war debts of money, food and military equipment. Perhaps the smartest American move would have been to let Hitler...a socialist fight it out with Stalin...a socialist and let the winner gobble up all of Europe.

The United States protected Western Europe for most of 50 years to keep the Soviet Union from annexing you the way the Soviet Union annexed Eastern Europe.

Just what the hell do you think all those Soviet tanks were for which were lined up along the borders between so called Soviet client states and Western Europe? What the hell do you think all those intermediate range ballistic missiles were for that the Soviet Union had targeted on Western European cities?

Like I said Mannu, little Mice don't abuse Lions.

You have a lot to learn Mannu. Come to think of it Mannu, you have everything to learn since you haven't learned a damn thing yet.

Among all those things you haven't learned Mannu is that fascism is found on the brain dead left and not on the so called right.

Preacher mode... Right... Much like the abusive standpoint of a person who has yet to place any solid sentiments to any of his arguments besides the usual "Well this set of people from this group does so and so deeds!" How does that makes any of your arguments any valid then those of an extremist wack job? You refuse to see the other side of the argument just like a facist or an extremist in general. Ok Mannu; If you choose to conform yourself to limited ideals, that's fine by me but then you are quite the hypocrite to call upon Jwhop as a facist supporter on his views.

quote:

And this is exactly why I do not support the extreme left. In order for any developement or organized effort to take place, there has to be some sort of structure. Unless offcourse you want total anarchy upon which we can go back to the Darwinian principals and I can assure you, from your thought process, you aren't gonna survive.

Obviously, with corporations, its always down to public share holdings. People can always buy shares and have a piece of the corporation with them. And like any other organization, a corporation is as good as its leadership who follow upon the three bottom line priorities which includes social service and communitiy contribution. Its part of the triple bottom line. Did you even think about that aspect at all Mannu? Or were you so quick to snap at whole religious communities for wrong doings.

Tell you what; Since you are such a supporter of structureless societies, may I suggest you put on nothing else but a loin cloth, leave the "confines" of the modern age and go about living in some jungle and see how long you can survive . I bet a 100 you wouldn't last a week.
