Why is it that practically everyone in washington has no truth to say about anything. There is no credibilty any more. For instance, obama's minister jeremiah wright's original sermon was simply the african american prespective on issues and how their handled in washington. But what i don't understand is why is every caucasian person so quick to condemn obama's minister, just for telling the truth. I'm sorry, but if we don't start accepting the real truth, then our world isn't going to get in better shape. The state of the world makes me depressed, because we have all these technological advances and luxuries but we can't even be real with ourselves.

Well said.

And in my opinion, so many crimes against humanity and so on, have taken place in Washington, the place generally does seem to have a "dark" energy attached to it. I've not been there, but I sensed it when I was watching something about it on TV (which I rarely do nowadays...watch TV that is).

You're right neptune5.

A lot of people in this world choose to live in the dark ages...putting faith in conservative religion values that have no basis in reality, shunning science and reason.

Not to say that faith doesn't have its place. But denying climate change and overpopulation isn't going to get us anywhere.

Exactly and people like Wright, the pope, etc they do not eliminate poverty and suffering they survive on its existence.

They tend to build more walls around people instead of building bridges.

We as educated, practical and pragmatic people must gain clarity on these issues.

Divided we fall.

At first,I did agree with Wright on a lot of things in regards to racism is a big problem in USA and the American policies overseas.
Even Dr. Martin Luther King Jr did the same thing including speaking out against the Vietnam War.

I hated when Wright promoted natural differences between blacks and whites. I also hate that he supports Farrakhan who believes in Black superiority and separation of blacks from whites. Dr. King would never do that.

Sadly,I believe that Obama's campaign is done. It will be a matter of time that he concedes to Hillary or majority of superdelegates flock to Hillary or if Hillary wins most of the coming primaries.

I also believe that it's possible that his denouncing Wright could also create division among the Black Community because Wright is a
prominent figure there. There could be a lot of blacks who might not vote for him because they might see him as being a "sell-out"

Wright isn't the Black church. I have been to black churches, and the pastors are nothing like Wright...they may get
passionate,loud,emotional,....but they don't go around saying things that encourages ethnic divide.

Pointing out issues about racism is one thing, but saying things that encourages ethnic divide is another and it just adds to the problem of racism.

that's just my opinion

I'm white and I can't say I've made my mind up about Rev Wright. Facts about the man are a little hard to come by. Lots of spin though. I do admit to casting a suspicious eye on anyone consumed by thoughts of racial and ethnic differences.

I'm no fan of dogmatic fundementalism but the unchecked worship of the great god Science has also brought many a plague to Egypt.

I've been to Washington DC and I never sensed an overwhelming "dark" force. You can smell decay more than dark, if you know what I mean? I've no doubt malignant forces are tirelessly at work in our Capital, but the Light of the original ideals is also there to be found if you're looking for it. In fact, the clash of such powerful and opposing forces can make you a little dizzy. I felt the same way in the Vatican.
