A 12 year old asked a man a question: "Define socialism?"
The man replied : Lets say you are playing baseball as two teams. Along comes this high school kid - He says "I will pitch and the two teams will bat. No matter which team wins, I will decide who the winner is?"

People on right believe in individual freedom? Is GU really biased by that very philosophy ? Is there really a need of a moderator at GU? If you said no to that, does that qualify you to be on the right? I mean I can understand there being a speaker in the house of congress. But that is to prevent everyone from talking at the same time. This is the internet for love of pete. Only in the other occult forums over here have I seen freedom of people threatened and all rules of decency been broken. I feel like puking when I recall the past. Examples: Some people do not understand the difference between private and public conversations, people actually threatening others with life and then saying sorry, People drinking alcohol and coming online and posting all crap, Some people flashing etc etc....

Should we allow that crap to come to GU? So far primarily haven't we been focussing on issues? And people who didn't have anything to say had really shut the fcuk up. If they are afraid to post, then may be subconsciously they feel that they have nothing to add to whats being discussed. Who is the loser in that case? The issue or you? I am not saying that there isn't numerous other reasons why people chose not to post if we go deeper in to it.

sorry mannu but this is the description of socialism from their opponent point of view.

if we define socialism, it's his definition given by those who created it that should be taken into consideration. logical.

then afterwards if people want to disagree it's fair but they need to start their argument from what was implied by the idea of socialism (as seen from their point of view.
