So, while O'Bomber was not President...still isn't but a couple of years ago, O'Bomber intervened in a political election in Kenya. Who the hell does this moron think he is?

Relations between nations are a matter of foreign policy and not a venue for moronic Senators to go to foreign countries and campaign for one political candidate or another. But, that's what O'Bomber did...and you won't find that news in the main stream media reports because O'Bomber doesn't want that news out.

But, it is out and since it is, it's time to find out just who Raila Odinga is.

Obama backer avoids DNC following Corsi book release
Controversy prompts Odinga to decline invitation to Denver

WorldNetDaily staff reporter and columnist Jerome Corsi's book "The Obama Nation" contributed to a decision by Kenyan Prime Minister Raila Odinga not to accept Sen. Barack Obama's invitation to attend the Democratic National Convention, according to a prominent Kenyan newspaper.

"The cancellation of the trip by Mr. Odinga comes hot on the heels of the publication of a book that is being used to attack Mr. Obama in which the PM [Prime Minister] features," wrote Kenya's Daily Nation. "The book, The Obama Nation, by Jerome Corsi depicts Mr. Obama as a covert sympathizer of radical Islam and communism."

"In the book, the PM, who is portrayed as a close relation and associate of Mr. Obama, is described as a 'Muslim sympathizer' with well-known communist political roots," the Kenyan newspaper continued.

"That Odinga stayed away from Denver during the Democratic National Convention is just one more indication that the Obama campaign is trying to manage the news to prevent close examination of Obama's current political involvement in Kenya and his support of his fellow Luo tribesman, Raila Odinga, in Odinga's attempt to become head of state," said Corsi.

Raila Odinga's father, Odinga-Odinga, or "Double-O," was a professed communist who allied with Obama's father in the administration of Kenyan President Jomo Kenyatta, he said.

Raila Odinga attended college in East Germany, where he was so impressed hearing Fidel Castro speak that he named his son "Fidel."

Odinga has maintained he is a blood cousin of Obama, but Obama has objected, insisting instead that they are "cousins" only in the sense that both are fellow Luo tribesmen.

In Kenya, the Luo tribe is the second largest, with the Kikuyu tribe, of which President Kibaki is a member, being the largest tribe in the country.

"By supporting Odinga, Sen. Obama is trying to revenge the failure of his father and Raila Odinga's father to advance decades ago in the Kikuyu-dominated bureaucracy under President Kenyatta, who was himself a Kiduyu tribesman," Corsi said.

"Obama fears he will be politically damaged in his bid to be U.S. president if U.S. voters learn how deeply he was involved in supporting Odinga in last year's Kenyan election," Corsi said.

Chapter 4 of "The Obama Nation," titled "Kenya, Odinga, Communism and Islam," contains Corsi's allegations that Obama supported Odinga in the presidential election of December 2007 even after Odinga lost the election and Luo tribesmen in support of Odinga rioted, killing more than 1,000 Kenyans, displacing 350,000 people and engaging in massacres against Christians.

Corsi argues Obama began campaigning for fellow Luo tribesman Raila Odinga in 2006 when Obama was on a Senate-sponsored fact-finding trip to Kenya while Odinga was locked in a presidential election contest against Kibaki.

"The Obama campaign wants to maintain Obama played a 'neutral' role in Odinga''s presidential election campaign," Corsi said. "But the factual record is that Obama intervened directly, criticizing the Kibaki government, while traveling the country with Odinga constantly at his side."

WND previously reported Chicago WBBM-TV news reports show repeated clips of Odinga accompanying Obama at various speaking appearances in Kenya, so much so that the news broadcaster commented in the background that Odinga "has been at Obama's elbow here fairly often."

The WBBM news team also interviewed on camera Kenyan government spokesman Alfred Mutua who accused Obama of meddling inappropriately in Kenyan presidential politics.

Mutua said politely but pointedly that, "I think Obama has to look at critically where he is receiving his advice from. Just because somebody wants to run for president, and he is using Senator Obama as his stooge, as his puppet, to be able to get where he wants to get."

In the same article, WND also posted a video of a press conference held during the Kenyan election campaign and broadcast in Kenya by Nairobi-based NTV.

The NTV news report shows Sheik Abdullah Abdi, the chairman of the National Muslim Leaders Forum, or NAMLEF, confirming a memorandum of understanding he signed with Odinga in which Odinga promised that within six months of becoming president of Kenya he would re-write the Constitution of Kenya to recognize sharia as the only true law sanctioned by the Holy Quran for Muslim-declared regions of the country.

In the post-election violence in Kenya, at least 50 people, including women and children, were killed when an angry pro-Odinga mob forced Christians into an Assemblies of God Pentecostal church in Eldoret, a village about 185 miles northwest of Nairobi, and set fire to it, hacking with machetes any of the Christians who tried to escape flames.

On Jan. 8, in the final hours of the New Hampshire Democratic primary, Obama told reporters he had telephoned Raila Odinga in Kenya, remaining personally involved in Kenya's election controversy.

The post-election violence in Kenya only subsided after former U.N. Secretary General Kofi Annan and U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice intervened and negotiated a power-sharing arrangement in which Odinga would become prime minister, sharing the head-of-state with Kenyan President Kibaki, the winner of the Dec. 2007 election.

Maybe we should send BO (Barrack Obama) back to Kenya (or Indonesia) where he can practise his communist ideas and pay back his father. He should try to become a president there. Lets see how he transforms those countries.

That Odinga wanted to creat an Islamic state in Kenya is ludicrous, he had an MOU with the Islamic leaders but it must also be mentioned that he also entered one with the episcopal leaders too. Saying that he wanted to create a sharia enforced country because majority of Lous are muslim is also totally false. Majority of luos in Kenya are christian. In fact they make up a large percentage of the population. That Odinga and Obama are cousins or even related in unfounded. In Africa people of the same tribe refer to each other as kinsmen, or cousins. Odinga is not responsible for the violence in the country, it was a volatike situation and not only luos were in involved. The whole country erupted in chaos after the elections. There was no heralding call to arms. Perhaps in future it would be best if one got their facts right, before blindly and zealously wrote on issues they clearly had no idea about.

Gee, here's a picture of O'Bomber and Odinga as O'Bomber is campaigning for Odinga in Kenya.

Sen. Barack Obama with Raila Odinga

The point is and always was...that O'Bomber went to Kenya and supported a candidate over another candidate...and that candidate has ties to Marxism/Communism. There's nothing neutral in supporting one candidate over another. That's the same bullshiiit we hear from the MSM...that they're neutral.

O'Bomber has no authority to conduct foreign policy for the United States as a Senator...PERIOD.

As to the charge you make Mannu. Nothing was said about converting to sharia law or Islamic law nationwide. Merely that was the plan in Muslim areas or enclaves of the country. BTW, Muslims make up about 30% of the population in Kenya.

More "community organizing" O'Bomber style?

If they don't give you what you want then "get in their faces", start riots, burn down buildings and kill a bunch of them until they do give you what you want. You want power.

Proof Obama backed ruthless, foreign thug
Set up direct Senate contact for Kenyan opposition leader
Posted: October 10, 2008

By Bob Unruh

Sen. Barack Obama designated a personal aide as his direct contact for the 2007 Kenyan presidential campaign of Raila Odinga, who later was appointed prime minister after his election loss was followed by widespread, deadly violence that destroyed or damaged 800 Christian churches, according to e-mails obtained by WND senior staff writer Jerry Corsi during a trip to Kenya.

Corsi attempted to release this and other information at a Tuesday press conference in Nairobi. The WND reporter and No. 1 New York Times bestselling author was detained by Kenya security officers as soon as he entered the hotel to make his presentation. He was held incommunicado and without food for the entire day before being permitted to board his regularly scheduled flight out of the country to London, where he is currently recuperating from the ordeal.

As WND has reported, Obama openly campaigned for Odinga during the Illinois Democrat's 2006 Senate "fact-finding visit" to Kenya.

Odinga called for protests over alleged voter fraud after losing the December 2007 general election. The resulting protest violence left an estimated 1,000 members of the dominant Kikuyu tribe in Kenya dead and an estimated 500,000 displaced from their homes.

The links between Obama and Odinga were documented by copies of two e-mails obtained by Corsi during his meetings in Kenya with various government officials and others.

The e-mails, apparently sent by Obama himself, referenced the senator's aide, Mark Lippert. The e-mails were provided to WND by an insider in Kenya who fled Odinga's Orange Democratic political party and requested anonymity because of the danger of retaliation.

The e-mails, identified as coming from Obama's Senate office, are addressed to "railaaodinga" at a yahoo.com address.

A WND e-mail to the same Obama address generated an automated response and a list of contacts for Obama's offices. A WND e-mail sent to the Odinga e-mail address didn't generate a response.

One e-mail purportedly from Obama, dated Dec. 22, 2006, read, "I will kindly wish that all our correspondence [be] handled by Mr Mark Lippert. I have already instructed him. This will be for my own security both for now and in future."

It is reproduced here with the e-mail address of the person who forwarded it to WND redacted:

Lippert is a long-term Obama Senate staff member identified by the Chicago Sun-Times as a member of Obama's "inner circle of foreign policy experts." The Sun-Times has said if Obama is elected president, his secretary of state and national security advisers are expected to come from this inner circle.

In December 2006 Odinga was in the early stages of planning to run as the ODP candidate against President Mwai Kibaki.

The e-mails from Obama's office to Odinga's presidential campaign seem to show Obama and Odinga, who once told the BBC he is Obama's cousin, had discussions about Odinga's 2007 campaign.

WND was unable to reach the Obama campaign for a comment, as the campaign telephone system disconnected a WND call three times in a row without any provision to leave a message.

The former ODM official who provided the e-mails to WND asked for anonymity because of concerns the disclosure of his identity could endanger his life in a volatile political atmosphere in Kenya where Odinga's fellow Luo tribal members staged sometimes violent protests against Kibaki's supporters, who primarily are Kikuyu.

Sen. Obama's relatives in Kenya are Luo.

The former ODM official reported abandoning the ODM and opposing Odinga because of concerns Odinga had manipulated tribal violence in Kenya to gain political power.

During Corsi's trip to Kenya, WND also confirmed the role of the anonymous ODM source in implementing an Odinga campaign strategy which the source claimed was shared with Obama's Senate office. The strategy is described in a document titled "Executive Brief on the Positioning and Marketing of the Orange Democratic Movement & 'The People's President.'"

The document at one point suggests: "It is possible to trigger a class war by painting the Kibaki Government as an insensitive, uncaring group of Muthaiga Golf clubbers. Available research also suggests that this strategy could also resonate with poor kikuyu youth who feel economically marginalized by their own government. As part of this strategy the party should seek to elevate the emotions within all youth constituents who may it successful, be willing to vote for us in the protest. Visible signs of class disparity will provide important fodder for this theme."

WND previously reported Obama was in telephone communications with Odinga on nearly a daily basis during the Democratic primary in New Hampshire in January.

The second e-mail, again from Obama's Senate address to Odinga's e-mail, stated, "Thanks for contacting me about Mr Lippert through email. Contact him through mark_lippert.obama.senate.gov."

Chapter 4 of Corsi's "The Obama Nation: Leftist Politics and the Cult of Personality," titled "Kenya, Odinga, Communism and Islam," refers to the strategy document, but its authenticity was confirmed by the former ODM official during interviews with Corsi in Kenya over the last week.

The document describes an Odinga strategy of exploiting "anti-Kikuyu sentiments," a clearly racial strategy aimed at inflaming long-standing tribal animosity to gain electoral advantage for Odinga.

The last point of the campaign document describes what happened when Odinga lost the December 2007 election: "Ethnic Tensions/Violence as a Last Resort."

Obama continued to support Odinga's effort to share Kenya's head-of-state with President Kibiki even after the wave of Odinga-prompted violence that followed his defeat.

Some pundits in the U.S. already are suggesting that if Obama is not elected, there could be violence. On CNN's "Anderson Cooper 360" show, James Carville said, "But you stop and contemplate this country if Obama goes in and he has a consistent five point lead and loses the election, it would be very, very, very dramatic out there."

According to a Wall Street Journal article posted on the Obama campaign website, Lippert is doing double duty: in civilian life as Obama's chief foreign-policy adviser and in the military as a Lieutenant JG who is planning to serve as an intelligence officer for the Navy SEALS.

The site gives Lippert, 34, credit for helping "hone" Obama's anti-war views.

The website report states: "Over the past two years, Sen. Obama and Lt. Lippert have traveled around the globe together, played one-on-one basketball and shared each other's shoes. Lt. Lippert has continuing email exchanges with the senator's half sister in Africa. Sen. Obama encouraged Lt. Lippert to get engaged. Sen. Obama calls Lt. Lippert, 'one of my favorite people in the world.'"

Lippert previously worked at the State Department and at the Office of Naval Intelligence in Suitland, Md.

The report says Lippert accompanied Obama as an adviser to Russia and then to Kenya.

DISPATCH FROM NAIROBI
Obama raised $1 million for foreign thug's election
Democrat joined Libya's Gadhafi among top contributors to Odinga
Posted: October 14, 2008

By Jerome R. Corsi

NEW YORK –Sen. Barack Obama, with a donation of nearly $1 million, and a son of Libyan dictator Muammar Gadhafi were among the biggest contributors to the presidential campaign of controversial Kenyan leader Raila Odinga, according to an internal document obtained by WND.

The memo was prepared by the head of Odinga's campaign finance accounting section, Shakeel Shabbir, as an official report delivered to the national treasurer for Odinga's Orange Democratic Movement party, or ODM.

Among the 72 individuals and organizations that contributed money to Odinga's 2007 presidential run in Kenya, Shabbir lists "Friends of Senator B.O." as having donated 66,000,000 Kenyan schillings, about $950,000.

Saif el-Islam Gadhafi, the Libyan strongman's second oldest son, reportedly donated 53,450,000 Kenyan schillings, about $765,000.

According to several highly credible ex-ODM sources WND interviewed in Kenya, the $950,000 raised for Odinga's campaign came from a series of private meetings arranged for Odinga by Mark Lippert, a foreign policy adviser in Obama's U.S. Senate office. The meetings with top-dollar Obama fundraisers and donors took place during Odinga's 2006 trip to the U.S.

In Kenya, WND talked to several top ex-ODM officials who played key roles in Odinga's 2007 presidential campaign.

The officials became disaffected with Odinga after confirming he signed a memorandum of understanding with Sheik Abdullahi Abdi, the chairman of the National Muslim Leaders Forum, or NAMLEF. In the Aug, 27, 2007, agreement, Odinga promised that within six months of becoming president, he would "rewrite the Constitution of Kenya to recognize Shariah as the only true law sanctioned by the Holy Quran for Muslim declared religions."

The ex-Odinga officials also told WND that, as Christians, they were appalled to see Odinga use tribal violence as a strategy to gain power after he lost the election by some 250,000 votes to sitting President Mwai Kibaki, a member of Kenya's majority Kikuyu tribe.

Odinga called on fellow Luo tribal members to protest alleged voter fraud, resulting in a brutal wave of machete-wielding violence that killed an estimated 1,000 members of the Kikuyu tribe in January and February. Some 800 Christian churches also were destroyed or burned to the ground, without a single mosque being damaged.

In a move to end the post-election violence, Kibaki named Odinga as prime minister April 13, effectively entering into a power-sharing agreement brokered by former U.N. General Secretary Kofi Annan and U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice that established Odinga as a co-equal head of state.

WND contacted both Obama's Washington Senate office and his Chicago campaign office asking for comment on this story but received no response.

Odinga-Gadhafi alliance

The ex-ODM supporters of Odinga also confirmed a long-suspected alliance between Odinga and Gadhafi that dates back to Odinga's service as Kenyan minister of energy in 2001-2002.

Shakeel Shabbir's internal campaign finance memorandum was noted in Chapter 4 of "The Obama Nation: Leftist Politics and the Cult of Personality." At the time the book was published, however, the authenticity of the memo could not be proved.

Research conducted in Kenya by WND this month confirmed Shabbir's funding memorandum had been smuggled out of ODM offices by Christian former-ODM officials who had turned on Odinga after the agreement with the Muslim leader was verified.

While several Internet sources posting the Shabbir memo have been taken down since publication of "The Obama Nation" brought it to international attention, it can still be seen here.

As energy minister, Odinga was introduced to the family of Sheik Abdulkadir Al-Bakri, one of the richest oil families in Saudi Arabia. Through his firm Pan African Petroleum Limited, Odinga is believed to have made millions on a concessionary petroleum deal he negotiated as a silent partner in the local arm of Al-Bakri International.

The Washington Times reported Odinga visited Obama during three trips the Kenyan politician made to the U.S. in 2004, 2005 and 2006.

The Times also reported Obama sent his Senate office foreign policy adviser Lippert to Kenya in early 2006 to coordinate a Senate "fact-finding" visit to Kenya later that year.

WND previously published a copy of a private Dec. 22, 2006, e-mail in which Obama personally informed Odinga that "all our correspondence [be] handled by Mr. Mark Lippert."

Obama apparently sought to establish a level of separation between himself and Odinga in their communications regarding the Kenyan election, noting further in the e-mail, using Lippert as a go-between "will be for my own security now and in future."

WND previously reported that when Obama visited Kenya in 2006, the administration of President Kibaki objected that Odinga was using Obama's visit to win votes. Obama's repeated public appearances with Odinga, and the senator's almost daily criticism of the Kibaki government added to the administration's objections.

A report by Chicago's WBBM-TV news team, which covered Obama in Kenya, shows the senator making statements critical of the Kibaki government.

WBBM interviewed on camera Kenyan government spokesman Alfred Mutua, who accused Obama of meddling inappropriately in Kenyan presidential politics.

Matua said, "I think Odinga has to look at critically where he is receiving his advice from. Just because somebody wants to run for president, and he is using Senator Obama as his stooge, as his puppet, to be able to get where he wants to get."

WND met with key officials in the Kibaki administration who affirmed their continuing conviction Obama used his 2006 Senate fact-finding visit to Kenya to advance Odinga's presidential candidacy. Obama, the officials charged, allowed Odinga to join him in many public appearances in Kenya and give speeches attacking Kibaki with themes that later became key attacks in the 2007 campaign.

Obama maintained close contact with Odinga throughout the Kenyan campaign, with Lippert continuing to review and share strategy documents with Odinga from Obama's U.S. Senate office in Washington, according to the ex-ODM officials WND interviewed in Kenya.

In the final days of the New Hampshire Democratic Party primary, while the post-election violence was still raging in Kenya, Obama told reporters from the BBC he continued to maintain contact with Odinga in Kenya by cell phone.

The Chicago Sun-Times called Lippert one of Obama's "inner circle of foreign policy experts," noting Lippert joined the Illinois Democrat's Senate office in Washington at beginning of his term in January 2004, moving over from a staff position on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee.

Newsweek reported Lippert, a lieutenant junior grade in the Naval Reserve with an intelligence background, also served a year's deployment in Iraq.

Lippert also worked for five years with the Senate Appropriations Committee Foreign Operations Subcommittee and handled foreign policy and defense issues for the Senate Democratic Policy Committee, according to the Sun-Times.

The Marxist model of overthrowing legitimately elected governments and there's Barack Hussein O'Bomber right in the middle of it, following the script and donating money to the cause.

Perhaps one or more of O'Bomber's 300 so called foreign policy experts should tell O'Bomber Americans are not supposed to intervene in foreign elections. Or perhaps the US Justice Department should let O'Bomber know in a more pointed way.

Kenyan insiders say Obama
was part of takeover strategy
Used 2006 'fact-finding' trip
to criticize sitting president
Posted: October 16, 2008

By Jerome R. Corsi

NEW YORK – Former members of Kenyan opposition leader Raila Odinga's Orange Democratic Movement party have told WND when Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama visited Kenya on a "fact-finding" trip in 2006, he was carrying out part of a secret election strategy that also included exploiting divisive tribal tensions and ultimately taking advantage of rioting that left 1,000 dead.

The strategy document outlining the campaign earlier was referenced in "The Obama Nation" but could not be fully authenticated at the time of publication.

Now, however, research conducted in Kenya by WND has confirmed the authenticity of the strategy memo, which was prepared by a five-person Odinga "core strategy team" led by Peter A. Nyongo, the secretary general of Odinga's Orange Democratic Movement party, with the assistance of four key Odinga ODM strategists, including Odinga speechwriter Adams Oloo.

It was reported to have been smuggled out of ODM offices by Christian former-ODM officials.

WND's sources in Kenya included several top ex-ODM officials who played key roles in Odinga's 2007 presidential campaign, only to turn on Odinga when the candidate's memorandum of understanding with Sheik Abdullahi Abdi, the chairman of the National Muslim Leaders Forum, proved to be real.

In that Aug. 27, 2007, document, Odinga promises within six months of becoming president he would "rewrite the Constitution of Kenya to recognize Shariah as the only true law sanctioned by the Holy Quran for Muslim declared religions."

Raila Odinga

The former ODM sources in Kenya supported the authenticity of the campaign strategy by noting Odinga did conduct a campaign against President Mwai Kibaki by charging his administration with corruption, advancing anti-Kibaki sentiments aimed at inciting Kenyan youth to vote for Odinga and ultimately calling for protest by Odinga's fellow Luo tribal members. Kibaki is of the majority Kikuyu tribe.

The "protests" turned violent, and in January and February a brutal wave of Odinga-supporting, machete-wielding Luo mobs killed an estimated 1,000 members of the Kikuyu tribe, displaced over 350,000 Kenyans from their homes and destroyed some 800 Christian churches, all without a single mosque being damaged.

The sources reported Odinga simply was following the script his policy strategists laid out for him in the Nyongo strategy document.

The strategy document remains available at this link.
http://www.network54.com/Forum/204096/thread/1200846405/last-1200846405/ODM

Obama's involvement amounted to a coordination with Odinga on the campaign, according to the sources.

The general tone of the strategy was to encourage the Odinga campaign to claim to be leading in the presidential race regardless of the actual numbers and be prepared to proclaim victory even if Odinga lost.

The officials poll results showed he lost to the incumbent by about 250,000 votes.

The plan called for "opportunities" for Odinga to pursue, including efforts to "exploit anti-Kikuyu statements," with a determination to "leverage the vulnerability of the Kibaki administration responses to corruption" and confront Kibaki with "a powerful anti-corruption message."

The final strategy the document calls for is exploiting ethnic tensions and using "violence as a last resort" to gain power. Among the 1,000 killed, reports say, were several dozen women and children who died when the Christian church in which they had sought refuge from marauding Muslim gangs was burned down around them.

The ex-ODM sources said Odinga followed the strategy script exactly, including his ultimate use of tribal conflict to gain power.

While Odinga never had explicitly demanded violence, the former ODM sources said Odinga used "code language" to his Luo backers to convey the instructions to burn Kikuyu homes, rape women and kill men.

Obama's part in the strategy was to openly attack the Kibaki administration in meetings where Odinga was in a very public attendance at Obama's side, the sources said.

WND previously reported a news report by a Chicago WBBM-TV news team of Obama's 2006 trip to Kenya. The report showed the senator undermining the Kibaki government in a speech delivered to the editorial staff at the Nairobi offices of the Standard, a prominent Nairobi newspaper, and at a separate appearance in which Obama delivered a public speech at Nairobi University of Nairobi, two hours after the appearance at the Standard.

The ex-ODM sources argued Obama and Odinga together were implementing in a coordinated fashion the strategy the Nyongo-led policy advisers had crafted in the internal strategy document.

The two politicians remained in touch through that time period, as WND also has published a report referencing a copy of a private Dec. 22, 2006, e-mail in which Obama personally informed Odinga that "all our correspondence [be] handled by Mr. Mark Lippert."

Lippert, at that time, was serving as a foreign policy advisor in Obama’s U.S. Senate office in Washington, D.C.

The Washington Times also reported Odinga visited Obama during three trips the Kenyan politician made to the U.S. in 2004, 2005 and 2006.

The Times also reported Obama sent his Senate office foreign policy adviser, Lippert, to Kenya in early 2006 to coordinate and arrange for Obama's Senate "fact-finding" visit to Kenya later that year.

As further evidence that Obama and Odinga were coordinating to implement the campaign strategy outlined in the Nyongo-authored document, the ex-ODM sources in Kenya argued that Obama maintained almost daily cell phone contact with Odinga as the post-election tribal violence was unfolding in Kenya, even as Obama was campaigning in the final days of the New Hampshire Democratic Party primary, as has been reported by the BBC.

The ex-ODM sources said Obama worked after the election with former U.N. Secretary General Kofi Annan and U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice to argue a position should be created to allow Odinga to share head of state as a compromise to end the violence.

The ex-ODM sources said during the post-election violence Obama did not call on Odinga to drop his charges of voter fraud or to withdraw completely from his efforts to become head of state as a strategy to calm his Luo tribe supporters and bring a halt to the violence.

WND confirmed in Kenya that at one point Annan and Rice actually pressured Kenyan Vice President Kolonzo to step down from his position to bring the Luo-mob protest violence to an end by appointing Odinga vice president so he could assume the nation's second highest political office.

When Kolonzo refused to step down, Annan and Rice proposed the Odinga-inspired plan to appoint him as prime minister, effectively allowing Odinga to share the head-of-state position with Kibaki, a solution that was adopted.

WND also reported on the authenticity of an Odinga campaign internal finance memorandum documenting that Obama arranged for Odinga to receive in his U.S. trips nearly $1 million in campaign contributions from Obama fund-raisers and donors to assist Odinga in his 2007 presidential campaign in Africa.

The finance memo, prepared by Shakeel Shabbir, the head of Odinga's campaign finance accounting section, also detailed that among the 72 individuals and organizations that contributed money to Odinga's 2007 presidential run in Kenya was Saif el-Islam Gadhafi, the second oldest sun of Libyan dictator Muammar Gadhafi, who also was listed as contributing nearly $1 million to Odinga's campaign.

The Shabbir document lists the Obama-generated campaign contributions from the U.S. as having been donated by "Friends of Senator B.O."

Obama's campaign "Fight the Smears" website and a posting by Ben Smith at Politico.com have questioned the authenticity of the Obama-to-Odinga Dec. 22, 2006, e-mail by arguing the e-mails "appear not to have been written by a native English speaker," without addressing a second similar e-mail WND published, that should not occasion any linguistic quibbles.

Moreover, neither "Fight the Smears" nor the Smith posting disputed the substantive point made in the e-mails, namely that Lippert served to coordinate between Obama and Odinga while Lippert held a staff position in Obama's U.S. Senate office in Washington.

WND was unable to get a response from Obama with calls to his Washington office and Chicago campaign headquarters.

Michelle Obama calls Corsi 'evil'
She tells foreign news agency 'to support Africans and African-American view'

WASHINGTON – Michelle Obama placed a surprise call to an African news agency to protest its coverage of WND investigative stories about her husband – characterizing the source of the material as "racist" and Jerome Corsi as "evil."

The call was placed to African Press International, according to a report in the publication today. It said Michelle Obama accused API of "colluding with American Internet bloggers in an effort to bring down her husband."

The report said Mrs. Obama had hoped the African media "was mature enough to be in the front to give unwavering support to her husband, a man Africans should identify themselves with."

API's account said it was "only relaying what the American bloggers and other media outlets had discovered through their investigations." This, according to the story, angered her.

"African Press International is supposed to support Africans and African-American view," she reportedly said. "It is strange that API has chosen to support the racists against my husband. There is no shame in being adopted by a stepfather. All dirt has been thrown onto my husband's face and yet he loves this country. My husband and I know that there is no law that will stop him from becoming the president, just because some American white racists are bringing up the issue of my husband's adoption by his stepfather. The important thing here is where my husband's heart is at the moment. I can tell the American people that my husband loves this country and his adoption never changed his love for this country. He was born in Hawaii, yes, and that gives him all the right to be an American citizen even though he was adopted by a foreigner."

The Obama campaign immediately denied the telephone call happened.

Tommy Vietor, a campaign spokesman, told Byron York on the National Review Online blog "The Corner," the conversation didn't happen.

"The answer is no, it's not real, the report is made up. She did not speak to the organization," Vietor said.

However, in an e-mail to WND, a man who identified himself as API's "Chief Editor Korikr" confirmed the exchange.

"API hereby confirms to you that the story is true and if the huge interest on this particular story continues, we will post the recording on our website in the next immediate days.

"When we published the story we did not intend to cause any chaos but we are shocked by the huge interest the story is receiving from the Americans and the American media," he continued.

"Mrs. Obama called us just to ask API to stop joining the mainstream hate online media that is trying to destroy her husband's opportunity to get the presidency," he wrote.

He said his editorial board would meet to discuss how best to release the audio.

AFI asked Michelle Obama to comment on the detention of Corsi during his visit last week to Kenya, where he was investigating the presidential candidate's links to a controversial strongman serving as prime minister.

"When API asked Mrs. Obama to comment on why Dr. Corsi was arrested by the Kenyan government and whether she thought Kenya's prime minister, Mr. Raila Odinga, was involved in Dr. Corsi's arrest, she got irritated and simply told API not to dig [into] that which will support evil people who are out to stop her husband from getting the presidency," the publication reported.

AFI also said the first lady in waiting had some clear instructions for the publication.

"Mrs. Obama asked API to write a good story about her husband and that will earn API an invitation to the inauguration ceremony when, as she put it, her husband will be installed as the next President of the United States of America next year," the report said.

Michelle Obama had one other point to make – regarding the endorsement of her husband by Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan, which she deemed "unfortunate."

She reportedly told AFI that it was unfortunate that the highly controversial Farrakhan made his support known before the election.
