The clothes that Obama was wearing were African. Those were clothes from Somalia.

There is nothing wrong with wearing African clothes. Obviously, there is nothing wrong with wearing European clothes.

So it's pretty messed up try to portray Obama as a muslim by showing his Somalian clothes. Other politicians wore clothes of the nations that they visit. There was a picture of Bush wearing Chinese clothes in China.

I don't know why you take shots at Obama's name. He was named after his Kenyan father.
There is nothing wrong with African names.

Enough of the Rovian GOP tactics!

They won't work!

This is why Im not a Republican. Disgusting, racist, BS like this.

On another note, Im surprised more muslims dont get p1ssed off about this whole "obama is a secret muslim" spew of trash. So what if he was a muslim? that would somehow be a bad thing? Mannu, you have shown your lack of intelligence with this very disgusting and disturbing post.

Glaucus,
I thought I will have some fun. You are being serious. The thread comes with a wink. I should have put a sign "Don't believe all you see and hear here." .

I am ok if Obama has the intention of uniting the two egoistic religion of christianity and islam. Ultimately both religions will become things of the past.

Personally for me economy is what matters more than religion. Makes sense. I made it clear, I believe in democracy. The government is decided by the will of the people.

But that dress clad Obama photo was originally provided by Hillary supporters.

Why blame the republicans?

o really? hmm do you have proof of this? and please no fake paranoid right wing links. i dont believe that. i dont think hillary supporters have proven themselves racist like the republican party.

and im going to say what nobody else wants to say in the media: they dont want obama to win because hes black. end of story. its not about his policies, or his "liberal" views. its because hes black. i forget whos the jerk who said obama wouldnt be where he is without being black, well i wish someone in the media would say they dont want a black man to win in america. say its not about race, but whatever.

Politics will be much better if we could prove so many things not just this one thing. But the reality is no such proof --exists. I agree that Hillary supporters have denied that they released pictures of Obama in a Somalian dress. But then it did come out when they both were debating. All fingers pointed to her and her supporters.

Do we know who released those pics? No.

I hate the one drop rule (you're part black, and so you're black)

Obama is the son of white woman and black man. I am too.

but yeah, even being bi-ethnic black, white disturbs a lot of whites in USA. I guess they are against inter-ethnic relationships between blacks and whites too.

it's very sad that he's dealt with death threats and even a foiled assassination plot just because his father was black just my dad. I am glad that I didn't become a politican. I don't want to get shot for having a black father.

Report: Kenyan Elders May Demand Clinton Pay Cattle Fine for Photo Smear

Just when Hillary Clinton started swimming in campaign donations, she could be facing down a hefty fine. This time in the currency of cattle.

Reuters reports that Kenyan elders are considering imposing a fine — traditionally payable in goats, cattle or camels — on the New York senator over the photo that surfaced earlier this week showing rival Barack Obama in traditional robes during his 2006 visit to Kenya. The Web site Drudge Report posted the photo Monday and said it was provided by Clinton staffers.

Though Clinton denied she had anything to do with the photo’s circulation, the Reuters article said Wajir elders would file a complaint with the U.S. Embassy in Nairobi and pursue an investigation.

“We will go ahead with this case whether Sen. Clinton or Democratic Party leaders turn up or not,” Mohamed Ibrahim, a member of the clan that hosted Obama, told Reuters. “But this whole thing can be avoided if only an apology is made.”

lol....okay, well if u have no proof, and cant even research what youre saying, then maybe you shouldnt say it. its called propaganda.

on another note, the sky is really purple. i dont have proof, but not all things can be explained and proven. just take my word for it.

You could sift for the truth with your power of discretion (which some would argue to be a divine instrument).

those links are suppose to be reliable? really? if i dont trust faux news, why would i trust a link to a website formed in someone's basement? im amazed CNN, and the other news networks didnt pick up this intriguing story. i guess theyre not really into seeking the truth.

CLINTON STAFFERS CIRCULATE 'DRESSED' OBAMA
Mon Feb 25 2008 06:51:00 ET

With a week to go until the Texas and Ohio primaries, stressed Clinton staffers circulated a photo over the weekend of a "dressed" Barack Obama.

The photo, taken in 2006, shows the Democrat frontrunner fitted as a Somali Elder, during his visit to Wajir, a rural area in northeastern Kenya.

The senator was on a five-country tour of Africa.

"Wouldn't we be seeing this on the cover of every magazine if it were HRC?" questioned one campaign staffer, in an email obtained by the DRUDGE REPORT.

In December, the campaign asked one of its volunteer county coordinators in Iowa to step down after the person forwarded an e-mail falsely stating that Barack Obama is a Muslim.

Obama campaign manager David Plouffe quickly accused the Clinton campaign Monday of 'shameful offensive fear-mongering' for circulating the snap.

Clinton campaign manager Maggie Williams responds: "If Barack Obama's campaign wants to suggest that a photo of him wearing traditional Somali clothing is divisive, they should be ashamed."

That ethiopian web site link shows that the photo existed much before it came to America.

My gut feeling is that an Hillary supporter must have done some mischief to publicise it. Hoping to give Hillary the much needed lead against her opponent.

As Nosis said, follow your own light.

writesomething,

Theres nothing wrong in scrutinizing a presidential nominee.

Everyone knows about McCain. But not many know about Obama.

What if he is an unfit president? Like Jimmy Carter ?

Majority of the People don't chose their color when they are born as human. Nor the parents based on religion. Nor if they will be rich or poor.

Why should I be racist knowing this fact?
Why should I condemn Obama for being born in a Kenyan family knowing well that I could have been born in Africa also.

We could condemn the stregth of a country who does not use it to help the weak nations. i.e Condemn US if it does not speak out when a country like Georgia is invaded.

You may go and explore so many blog sites out there...

There are examples of white men who first voted for Obama in the primaries and now they say they won't.

I think you are generalizing too much.
