quote: How does Japanese company E Mobile sell cell phones? By capitalizing on Barack Obama’s political success through depicting him as a real monkey. A monkey in a presidential suit, but a monkey nonetheless.

Featuring Political satires of Obama quote:
....Obama in Arab-like headdress; having him with popping eyes and big, thick lips as the classic pancake-mix icon Aunt Jemima. On the back of the box, Obama is depicted in stereotypical Mexican dress, including a sombrero, above a recipe for "Open Border Fiesta Waffles" that says it can serve "4 or more illegal aliens." The recipe includes a tip: "While waiting for these zesty treats to invade your home, why not learn a foreign language?" Selling for $9.99 a box, the Obama Waffles web site is currently offering a Sarah Palin Special promotion where you get 1 box for free when you buy 2.

Barrack hanging Osama Bin Laden’s portrait in the oval office while he fist-pumps in victory with his wife Michelle. Did I mention that Obama is dressed like Osama while his wife dons a machine gun with the American flag burning in the fireplace?

No way, McCain knows how to wear a tie. Obama doesn't. He prefers to wear 'em loose. When he does get it right he looks like that ape.

Ok seriously Obama's lucky charms are posted below: quote: Amongst the things that Barack Obama carries for good luck are a bracelet belonging to a soldier deployed in Iraq, a gambler’s lucky chit, a tiny monkey god and a tiny Madonna and child
Yikes, it includes an Indian monkey god called Hanuman. Most male celebates carry that charm as well. But why is he carrying it ? IP: Logged |

I wanted to respond to all people who posted negtive ads on McCain. They have made fun of his disabilities. Not able to use the internet and all that. I agree that Japanese ad was racist. The rest of the thread is what it is 'Political Satire'. To BR, No the ad is not racist. Its creative.

Oh the many layers of innuendo! This is a Japanese ad created for a Japanese audience. Apparently, this monkey has been emobile's mascot for a few years. Do the Japanese have a history of characterizing blacks as monkeys? I'm willing to bet they do not. It really is all in the eye of the beholder, isn't it? IP: Logged |

Glad you asked As the story goes, the pins first surfaced at the Texas (don't drop from shock please) state Republican convention by a company called Republicanmarket. The GOP banned the vendor from all future events, along with other deplorable sorts like the Log Cabin Republicans, and donated the booth fee to midwest flood victims. Whether this is all true or if it was an orchestrated media stunt, the pins are disgusting and should be condemned. But don't knock the sympathy vote So saith tink IP: Logged |

Every once in a while I wander over to this forum. Then I see things like this and remember why I avoid it all together. Maybe I'll try again in another six months. IP: Logged |
