I've always known Joe O'Biden is a brain dead moron. I just found out O'Biden is also insane. O'Bomber/O'Biden make a matched pair. Too bad they're not a matched pair of Clydesdales. At least we could get some use out of them. As it is, they're 2 trick ponies. Tax and spend.

Biden: Paying higher taxes is patriotic
Rick Moran

Joe Biden has given us a perfect illustration of how liberals see your money - not just cash you will be sending to the IRS but ALL of your hard earned dollars:

"We want to take money and put it back in the pocket of middle-class people," Biden said in an interview on ABC's "Good Morning America."

Noting that wealthier Americans would indeed pay more, Biden said: "It's time to be patriotic ... time to jump in, time to be part of the deal, time to help get America out of the rut."

Forget for a moment that the top 5% of of the wealthiest Americans already have done their patriotic duty by paying 80% of the taxes from individuals. Forget also that there are 48 million families who, thanks to Republican tax cuts, pay nothing in taxes at all - zero, nada, zilch.

Believing that paying taxes is "patriotic" is idiocy. Biden and the Democrats are under the mistaken impression that whatever you make belongs to them and they are doing you a favor by letting you keep a certain percentage of it - that it is up to the taxpayer to be "patriotic" and pony up. Never mind cutting spending. Never mind dealing with the coming crisis in out of control entitlements.

Making the payment of taxes a question of patriotic devotion is sickening. Par for the course for Democrats who want us to be more like Sweden.

I actually saw that today and have to say it is absolutely the most idiotic thing anyone has said so far in this campaign. No logic, no reason, just plain stupidity.

Does he even realize what he said? Obviously, if you are one of those 48 million families who don't pay taxes, or one of the many other individuals who pay very little in taxes ... well, guess what? You're just not a Patriot. Clearly, the only real Patriots, according to Biden at least, are those very, very wealthy who actually contribute taxes and the more they pay, the more they must love America. Especially ironic as the Dems love to take tax money from the "rich and greedy" and yet they are apparantly just giving that money away to all those unpatriotic people.

Democracy? Even if you want to pretend we aren't a Republic, O/B are pulling votes for an Idiocracy.

I was really pis$ed when I first saw the quote from Biden that "paying more taxes is patriotic".

Later, it was convulsive laughing that Obama's VP candidate was talking about higher taxes...when one of McCain's campaign attacks against Obama is that he will raise taxes on America, including the so called middle class.

Obama and Biden need to stay far away from the word "patriotic". There are way too many people in America who know Obama said wearing an American flag lapel pin is "phony patriotism" and that Obama and Biden voted against funding US military forces in the field...attempting to deny them things like food, water, fuel for their vehicles, bullets for their guns and guns, body armor and everything else they need to fight a war the Congress of the United States voted for which sent them to Iraq. There's also a lot of people who saw Obama standing with his hands down in front of his body while the National Anthem was being played...and everyone around Obama had their hands over their hearts which is the sign of respect for the United States Obama doesn't have.

So, patriotic, patriot and patriotism are words the Obama campaign should strike from their vocabulary because they sound utterly foolish when coming out of the mouth of Obama or Biden.

Didn't that stutterer say its patriotic to pay higher taxes if you earn more than 250k?

Elitist ahole. Why can't they send checks to the Fed voluntarily? Do they need the mailing address?

These hypocrites pay $353 as charity while making hundreds and thousands of dollars and they talk of patriotism.

Jeez.

O'Biden is mentally stunted.

I guess since Bear doesn't have to pay taxes on his income while he is deployed to Iraq, he is being "unpatriotic" LMAO.... What a bunch of hooey!

How about voting for a republican is patriotic, in bad times

-- less spending, lower taxes, encourage and support the rich so that money trickles down in to the market.
