So, the media were very interested in McCain's medical records and McCain released over 1100 pages for 20 members of the main stream media to pour over.

But, so far as I know, the media haven't asked nor has O'Bomber released his own medical records.

Now, I hear an O'Bomber PAC is getting ready to run commericals against McCain alleging the dangers of electing McCain President because he's had 4 operations for cancer..though his doctors say he's cancer free.

I still remember Kommander Korruption who first thing, fired the White House doctor and never released his medical records nor the medical reports from his annual checkup.

Sometime in Clinton's first term it began to make some sense when his brother Rodger said "Bill has a nose like a vacuum cleaner. Notice the present tense of the verb..."has".

So, why is the press so uninterested in exploring anything which might shed some light on many of the questions surrounding O'Bomber's past and present associations, education, drug use, felon associates, connection to the most corrupt city government in the United States and a host of other things Americans should know and the press should be pursuing?

BLANKLEY: Media covering for Obama
Obama remains unknown

OP-ED:
The mainstream media have gone over the line and are now straight out propagandists for the Obama campaign. While they have been liberal and blinkered in their worldview for decades, in 2007-08 for the first time, the major media are consciously covering for one candidate for president and consciously knifing the other. This is no longer journalism — it is simply propaganda. (The American left-wing version of the Volkischer Beobachter cannot be far behind.) And as a result, we are less than seven weeks away from possibly electing a president who has not been thoroughly and even half way honestly presented to the country by our watchdogs — the press.

The image of Barack Obama that the press has presented is not a fair approximation of the real man. They have consciously ignored whole years in his life, and showed a lack of curiosity about such gaps that bespeaks a lack of journalistic instinct. Thus, the public image of Mr. Obama is of a "Man who never was." I take that phrase from a 1956 movie about a real life WWII British intelligence operation to trick the Germans into thinking the Allies were going to invade Greece, rather than Italy, in 1943. Operation "Mincemeat" involved the acquisition of a human corpse dressed as a Maj. William Martin, R.M. and put into the sea near Spain. Attached to the corpse was a brief-case containing fake letters suggesting that the Allied attack would be against Sardinia and Greece.

To make the operation credible, British intelligence created a fictional life for the corpse — a letter from a lover, tickets to a London theater, all the details of a life — but not the actual life of the dead young man whose corpse was being used. So, too, the man the media has presented to the nation as Mr. Obama is not the real man.

The mainstream media ruthlessly and endlessly repeats any McCain gaffes, while ignoring Obama gaffes. You have to go to weird little Internet sites to see all the stammering and stuttering that Mr. Obama needs before getting out a sentence fragment or two. But all you see on the networks is an eventual one or two clear sentences from Mr. Obama. Nor do you see Mr. Obama's ludicrous gaffe that Iran is a tiny country and no threat to us. Nor his 57 American states gaffe. Nor his forgetting, if he ever knew, that Russia has a veto in the United Nations. Nor his whining and puerile "come on" when he is being challenged. This is the kind of editing one would expect from Goebbels' disciples, not Cronkite's.

More appalling, NBC's "Saturday Night Live" suggested that Gov. Sarah Palin's husband had sex with his own daughters. That scene was written with the assistance of Al Franken, Democratic Party candidate for Senate in Minnesota. Talk about incest.

But worse than all the unfair and distorted reporting and image projecting, is the shocking gaps in Mr. Obama's life that are not reported at all. The major media simply has not reported on Mr. Obama's two years at Columbia University in New York, where, among other things, he lived a mere quarter mile from former terrorist Bill Ayers— after which they both ended up as neighbors and associates in Chicago. Mr. Obama denies more than a passing relationship with Mr. Ayers. Should the media be curious? In only two weeks the media has focused on all the colleges Mrs. Palin has attended, her husband's driving habits 20 years ago and the close criticism of Mrs. Palin's mayoral political opponents. But in two years they haven't bothered to see how close Mr. Obama was with the terrorist Ayers.

Nor have the media paid any serious attention to Mr. Obama's rise in Chicago politics — how did honest Obama rise in the famously sordid Chicago political machine with the full support of Boss Daley? Despite the great — and unflattering details on Mr. Obama's Chicago years presented in David Freddoso's new book, the mainstream media continues to ignore both the facts and the book. It took a British publication, the Economist, to give Mr. Freddoso's book a review with fair comment.

The public image of Mr. Obama as an idealistic, post-race, post-partisan, well-spoken and honest young man with the wisdom and courage befitting a great national leader is a confection spun by a willing conspiracy of Mr. Obama, his publicist David Axelrod and most of the senior editors, producers and reporters of the national media.

Perhaps that is why the National Journal's respected correspondent Stuart Taylor has written that "the media can no longer be trusted to provide accurate and fair campaign reporting and analysis." That conspiracy has not only photo-shopped out all of Mr. Obama's imperfections (and dirtied up his opponent Mr. McCain's image), but it has put most of his questionable history down the memory hole.

The public will be voting based on the idealized image of the man who never was. If he wins, however, we will be governed by the sunken, cynical man Mr. Obama really is. One can only hope that the senior journalists will be judged as harshly for their professional misconduct as Wall Street's leaders currently are for their failings.

Did you catch Palin talking with Capricorn Katie Couric? That was some good entertainment. You still think Palin would do well against me?

I also recently caught McCain talking about shutting down his campaign, and going to Washington to deal with the financial crisis. That huge smile on his face as he said he would gladly take the hit politically if that was what was to occur seemed to transparently indicate that his decision was indeed a purely political move. If McCain thinks that Congress can't work without him, then maybe he should put Country First, and just stay in Congress where he's apparently desperately needed.

Nope, I don't like fairy tales packaged as news so I never watch CBS or Couric.

If Palin ever gets you in a debate acoustic, plan to get sliced and diced. Palin is a hell of a lot more intelligent than you and she's also a lot more knowledgeable.

Don't look now, but your guy O'Bomber blew up the conference at the White House. The demoscat leadership deferred to O'Bomber to speak on their behalf...and the first words out of O'Bomber's mouth was an attack on House Republicans. So much for bringing people together. Hahahahaha

As a result of O'Bomber blowing it totally, House Republicans are not signing onto the 700 Billion dollar bailout, McCain stood with House Republicans against Bush and the Treasury Sec and the demoscats and Republicans are drafting a non socialist plan to rescue the financial sector. In other words, a capitalist solution.

Now here's the thing acoustic. demoscats control both houses of congress. The House could pass anything they want to pass. In the Senate, there are enough RINOs who would vote with demoscats to pass that 700 Billion dollar bailout which obligates taxpayers and puts them on the hook for demoscat mismanagement of Freddie and Fannie.

So, since demoscats want that plan so much, why don't they just do it?

Let me answer that for you acoustic. The public is against the 700 Billion dollar plan..by more than 70%. demoscats want Republican cover for their coverup of their stupidity and financial corruption and I don't think they're going to get it.

So, McCain went to the conference, supported the House Republicans and then flew back to Mississippi to kick O'Bomber's butt and show him up to be the lightweight he really is. I've seldom heard so many meaningless platitudes coming out of one person's mouth as O'Bomber uttered tonight.

Definitely not ready for prime time.

I don't think so. From the looks of it, it would be like talking to any random church mom. And this is after a couple weeks indoctrination. Talk about not being ready for prime time.

I encourage everyone to watch the whole thing. I've never seen so much uninformed, BS waffling in my life. There are some people who believe they can talk themselves out of anything. I think Palin is one such person.

Some people like to talk about her being genuine, but you can't get any less genuine than talking/acting as if you have an answer while not really saying anything. A genuine response would take some responsibility for not knowing answers when she doesn't know answers.

" I've never seen so much uninformed, BS waffling in my life."

I take it you've never seen Barack Hussein O'Bomber talking off the cuff...or without his teleprompter acoustic. That's a real Waffle House treat.

Did you know acoustic that O'Bomber even took his teleprompter to an outdoor campaign event held in Pueblo, CO at an outdoor Rodeo Ring?

As for who is authentic and who is not acoustic. O'Bomber is a total construct. There's nothing real there at all. It's all a blithering, blathering, bullshiiting constructed personality which is being covered up by the main stream media...and believe me, the media are taking more major hits to the little credibility they had left.

Almost any mom I know would unravel you in under 5 minutes acoustic..church mom or not. Face it, you're not close to being in Palin's league. You're talking about the Governor who backed the oil companies..off, the pipeline companies..off, Republican party officials...off, Republican Senators and Congressmen..off and who initiated investigations which put some of the fat cats in prison.

What was that line from the Clint Eastwood movie...oh yeah, "A man has to know his limitations".

Alas, if only Couric gave Obama as tough an interview then we might get somewhere. It seems so unprofessional that she is so obvious about her leanings.

I have actually, and on multiple occasions. Stammering while his thoughts collect doesn't bother me. I'd rather someone think before talking, and I appreciate it when people take the time to articulate something as concisely as possible.

I still think it's hilarious that you think she'd shine next to me. Set it up! I am ready! I hope Capricorn Matt Lauer gets a crack at her, too.

This Thursday night should be a good show. It might even compete with NBC's comedy night in entertainment value.

ELECTION REJECTION: NETWORK NEWS SLUMPS; VIEWERSHIP FADES
Wed Oct 22 2008 07:25:40 ET

The Obama-McCain match-up is proving to be a lackluster election ticket for the Big 3 network news programs, according to NIELSEN MEDIA RESEARCH.

As the shouting from the trail and the frantic spinning from the anchor desks intensify, the audience is voting with their remotes.

All 3 evening news shows experienced audience drops year-to-year for the week of Oct. 13-19, 2008.

CBSNEWS w/ Couric shed a half a million viewers, falling from 6.4 million to 5.9 million; ABCNEWS dropped from 8.1 million to 7.6 million; NBCNEWS slumped from 8.2 million to 7.8 million.
