Despite what you think of OJ (and I'm certainly no fan of his), most of the charges were bogus and without any merit. His lawyer was/is an idiot. Perhaps they could have gotten him with assault, battery, and maybe even a terroristic threat, but kidnapping??? And worst yet, many of you may not remember the first day when OJ was arrested, but soon after, the judge ordered that the items OJ supposedly committed "armed robbery" to retrieve be given to the Goldman family to be sold and applied toward the civil judgment. What!?! If it was the private property of the ones OJ "robbed," then it should all have been given back to them; however, by the act of giving it to the Goldmans it was an admission of the court that it was, in fact, OJ's property! And so he cannot legally be charged with armed robbery, since the court clearly believed he was taking his own property! Armed robbery is using a weapon to take the private property of another. I came up with this defense from day one as I watched the tv report OJ's arrest, so why can't an attorney do the same? The court cannot have it both ways. By giving those items to the Goldmans, either 1. The government took the private property of the shopkeepers without due process of law. Or 2. OJ cannot be charged with armed robbery, because it was his own stuff. I would say number 2, because it was an admission that OJ owned the property. And I thought such duplicity of law only occurred with income tax "crimes."

all I have to say is

Karma

OJ finally got what he deserved.

He got away with murder for 13 years. I always thought he was guilty and didn't feel that justice was served.

no Johnny Cochran to defend him makes a big difference

here is my astrological post on OJ
his transits, secondary progressions, and solar arcs altogether showed that what he is going through now is karmic retribution for Nicole's murder

Good analysis Randall.

The case is on appeal or soon will be. I see no way an appeal against some of the charges won't be granted.

It's also obvious that judge is a simpleton who doesn't see his actions are indefensible and a de facto admission some of the charges against Simpson are bogus or made so by his own actions.

Isn't it ironic Randall?
You know, OJ is probably thinking

"Why me? This is so unfair, what did I ever do to deserve this injustice?"

hmmm

Karma?
The moral of this story is
Ultimately we are all responsible for our own actions.
No one is exempt from Karma

Karma will always get ya... no matter how much money or power you throw at it.. we're all equal in the universe.

Odd, also, how the book deal was made and now we get to read the story of a lawyer who basically sold out to make a buck on the biggest cover up (cuz yeah, we had no idea he was guilty all these years) we have seen in decades...

On the side of democracy, and due process of law, yeah, this trial is a bit shady. Almost like they created this karma for him just to fry his a$$. My vote is whatever, he is way past overdue...
