As usual, demoscats "Know Nothinnnng" about political, financial and election corruption in demoscat ranks.

It seems only yesterday when demoscats were screeching, screaming and shrieking that a Republican, Tim Foley must resign his congressional seat. Oh, and not only Foley but also members of the Republican House leadership must step DOWN from their posts...for covering up what wasn't a crime.

Now, there is a crime with the demoscat who took Foley's old seat in the House...and as usual, demoscats "know nothinnnng".

Problem is that they know plenty and because they attempted to cover up what is clearly a crime in their ranks...putting a Congressman's mistress on his staff at taxpayer expense...Pee-lousi, Rob Emanuel and the demoscat leadership in the House should immediately vacate their leadership positions.

Congressman's $121,000 Payoff to Alleged Mistress
Tim Mahoney Elected to Remove 'Ethical Cloud' of His Disgraced Predecessor, Mark Foley

West Palm Beach Congressman Tim Mahoney (D-FL), whose predecessor resigned in the wake of a sex scandal, agreed to a $121,000 payment to a former mistress who worked on his staff and was threatening to sue him, according to current and former members of his staff who have been briefed on the settlement, which involved Mahoney and his campaign committee.

The affair between Congressman Tim Mahoney and Patricia Allen began, according to current and former staffers, in 2006 when Mahoney was campaigning for Congress against Foley, promising "a world that is safer, more moral."

Mahoney, who is married, also promised the woman, Patricia Allen, a $50,000 a year job for two years at the agency that handles his campaign advertising, the staffers said.

A Mahoney spokesperson would not answer questions about the alleged affair or the settlement, but said Allen resigned of her own accord and "has not received any special payment from campaign funds."

Senior Democratic leaders in the House of Representatives, including Rep. Rahm Emanuel (D-IL), the chair of the Democratic Caucus, have been working with Mahoney to keep the matter from hurting his re-election campaign, the Mahoney staffers said.

A spokesperson for Emanuel denies that account, but said Emanuel did confront Mahoney "upon hearing a rumor" about an affair in 2007 and "told him he was in public life and had a responsibility to act accordingly." The spokesperson added that it was a "private conversation" that had nothing to do with Mahoney's re-election prospects.

Emanuel's spokesperson said Emanual had not had any further contacts with Mahoney on the subject and did not know the woman involved worked on Mahoney's Congressional staff until informed by ABC News.

Mahoney was elected two years ago following the abrupt resignation of his disgraced predecessor, Republican Mark Foley, whose lewd internet messages to teenage boys and Congressional pages created a national outrage.

The affair between Mahoney and Allen began, according to the current and former staffers, in 2006 when Mahoney was campaigning for Congress against Foley, promising "a world that is safer, more moral."................

Nancy Pee-lousi "knew nothinnnnng" too.

Yep, that's right. Speaker of the House, Nancy Pee-lousi, leader of House demoscats claims she "knew nothinnnng" about Mahoney's mistress problem..even though a House demoscat leader, Rob Emanuel knew all about it and attempted to cover it up...to help Mahoney's reelection prospects.

No doubt, Nancy Pee-lousi wants an internal House investigation by demoscats which will extend beyond the coming elections and in the end, clear Mahoney, Rob Emanuel and herself of any hint of political, financial and election corruption.

Everyone, just like Nancy Pee-lousi is shocked, simply shocked and just learned about Mahoney's mistress...yesterday.

We call that "playing the lying card".

demoscats really aren't very intelligent.

Here's Mahoney caught on tape talking to his mistress he had just fired. Apparently, she wasn't taking care of Mahoney in a satisfactory manner. She worked at Mahoney's pleasure.

FBI Reported to Begin Probe of Florida Congressman
Pursuing Reports Mahoney Paid Hush Money to Alleged Mistress
By EMMA SCHWARTZ, RHONDA SCHWARTZ and VIC WALTER
October 14, 2008

The FBI has reportedly begun its own preliminary investigation into an ABC News report that West Palm Beach Congressman Tim Mahoney (D-FL) hired an alleged mistress to work on his official staff and then paid her $121,000 to keep her from going public and filing suit after she was fired.

FBI agents have reportedly contacted members of Mahoney's staff and Tuesday sought legal files surrounding the secret settlement, according to current and former Mahoney Congressional and campaign staff workers.

A spokesperson for the FBI said she had been instructed to say "no comment" to press inquiries.

It would be unusual but not unprecedented for the FBI to open an investigation into a member of Congress three weeks before the election.

According to the Mahoney staffers, his secret agreement with the woman, Patricia Allen, began in 2006 when he was campaigning for office, vowing to remove the "ethical cloud" he said had been left over the district by Republican Mark Foley, who resigned after it was revealed he had written lewd internet instant messages to Congressional pages and teenage boys.

Mahoney today said he took "full responsibility" for his actions but did not admit the affair and took no questions from reporters.

Mahoney's spokesperson did not have an immediate response about the FBI's probe.

Fla. Congressman said to be involved in 2nd affair
Oct 15, 12:19 AM (ET)
By BRIAN SKOLOFF

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (AP) - A married congressman who faces accusations that he had an affair with a former aide and paid her to keep quiet about it also was having an affair with a second woman around the same time, a person close to his campaign told The Associated Press on Tuesday.

Details of the second affair came hours after Democratic U.S. Rep. Tim Mahoney held a news conference to address a story, first reported by ABC News, that he had been involved with the former aide. Mahoney acknowledged he had caused "embarrassment and heartache" to his family but denied doing anything illegal.

Mahoney, 52, won his seat in 2006 while promising to return morals and family values to Washington in the aftermath of the resignation of former Republican U.S. Rep. Mark Foley. Foley stepped down when it was revealed he sent lurid Internet messages to male teenage pages who had worked on Capitol Hill. Foley was later cleared of criminal wrongdoing by state and federal authorities.

Mahoney's seat was already considered to be one of the more competitive House races, and he has been facing a tough challenge in a district that traditionally leans slightly Republican. He faces former Army officer Tom Rooney, a lawyer whose family owns the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Mahoney himself did not directly address the first purported tryst during a news conference earlier in the day, but instead issued a statement taking "full responsibility for my actions and the pain I have caused my wife Terry and my daughter Bailey."

"No marriage is perfect," Mahoney said, "but our private life is our private life."

He said he never misused campaign funds and was confident he will be cleared of wrongdoing.

"I have not violated my oath of office, nor have I violated any laws," Mahoney said in the statement.

Mahoney's statement came one day after ABC News reported that he had an affair with an aide and then paid her $121,000 to keep her quiet and avoid a sexual harassment lawsuit. After the report, Mahoney called for an investigation into his own conduct by the House Ethics Committee. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi also called for an inquiry.

ABC, citing unnamed current and former Mahoney staff members, said the congressman began his affair with Patricia Allen, 50, in 2006 while he was campaigning for Congress. Allen has not returned repeated telephone calls from The Associated Press.

On Tuesday night, a person close to the Mahoney campaign told the AP that Mahoney also was having a relationship with a high-ranking official in Martin County in his Florida district around the same time of the purported affair with Allen.

The person close to the campaign spoke only on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to openly discuss Mahoney's private life.

The person said Mahoney was having the relationship with the official in 2007 while he also was lobbying the Federal Emergency Management Agency for a $3.4 million reimbursement for Martin County for damage caused by hurricanes in 2004. FEMA approved the money late last year.

Mahoney's congressional staff declined to comment on this alleged tryst, but noted Mahoney lobbies for FEMA funding throughout his district, and that Martin County has received $43 million from FEMA since 2004. Mahoney didn't take office until 2006.

Meanwhile, a high-level Democratic operative who has been involved with the Mahoney campaign told the AP Tuesday night that the FBI has begun reaching out to attorneys involved in the initial reported affair and accusations that he paid the woman to keep quiet. The person declined to be identified because of the FBI's involvement.

A telephone message left late Tuesday night on Mahoney's cell phone was not returned.

Republicans seized on the Allen scandal earlier in the day.

"We're pleased that an ethics investigation has been called for but quite frankly, we're not going to know the answers in three weeks unless Congressman Mahoney literally sits down ... and answers some questions," said Rep. Tom Cole of Oklahoma, the chairman of the National Republican Congressional Committee.

Cole said he was concerned Mahoney may have used money from his campaign account to pay off the mistress, which could be illegal.

"The facts should come out," Rooney said at the news conference with Cole.

In addition to the cash payment, ABC News reported that Mahoney promised the former aide a $50,000 a year job for two years at the agency that handled his campaign advertising.

That company, Nashville, Tenn.-based Fletcher Rowley Chao Riddle Inc., resigned from Mahoney's campaign Monday. The company's chief executive said the firm knew nothing about a settlement with Allen.

I'm surprised at you Mannu.

Only members of the vast right wing conspiracy wouldn't see that Maloney is just putting O'Bomber's Marxist economic theory into actual practice.

He's spreading the wealth around and it doesn't matter at all that it's not his own wealth, but is rather taxpayer wealth or contributions to his election campaign from his supporters.

What right thinking individual could possibly be against Maloney spreading both his love and their wealth around to the widest circle possible?

Remember Mannu, in glorious right thinking circles it's...."to each according to their need; from each according to their ability".
