I was happy to see O'Bomber sending the right message to his supporters...and though he doesn't know it...also sending the right message to those who oppose his Marxist candidacy.

O'Bomber dropped the singing of the National Anthem and the Pledge of Allegiance from his campaign rally in Londonderry, New Hampshire.

The message O'Bomber sent is the same message O'Bomber has harped on since the beginning of his campaign.

Yes leftists, I really do disrespect the United States and it's institutions as much as you do. I'm your Marxist candidate for president of the United States. See, I dropped the singing of the National Anthem and the Pledge of Allegiance from the program...to make way for something much more important; another bloviating blowhard speaker. Ain't I just great?

Well O'Bomber, we already got your message that you disrespect the United States and the American people. You've made that quite clear by your constant heckling, hectoring and lecturing of America and Americans for all our...so called deficiencies.

We get your message loud and clear. See you on November 4th Mr. Marxist.

"...Not present, or at least not singing the National Anthem at the rally was Londonderry senior Zach Bencal.

Bencal, who sings the anthem for a number of school events and is actively involved in local community theatre, had been contacted by the Obama campaign to sing the anthem. He agreed to do so, then was told later in the evening the anthem had been scratched from the program. Bencal said he was told by the campaign the decision was a simple programming change to make room for another speaker.

"I guess it just wasn't meant to be," Bencal said.

Sandra Abrevaya, communications director for the Obama campaign's Manchester office, confirmed the choice had simply been a last-minute scratch from the rally's program, which included the Pledge of Allegiance..........."

Now come on jwhop. The Pledge of Allegiance and National Anthem are old fashion balderdash and as useless as the Constitution.

They went the way of free enterprise and all else touted to be the American dream...

I`ll see you November 4th

Pledging allegiance? Singing your National Anthem? Come on already. Only brainwashed fools actually feel any allegiance to their country. New World Order! New World Order! We are citizens of the world, after all. And National anythings are so divisive. We need a One World Anthem. One World, One People, One Government, One Option. A chain of paper doll unity, that's the ticket.

Seriously, though, I can understand how so many leftists can't even stand the Pledge of Allegiance anymore. It slaps their lack of understanding of America in their own faces.

"I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the REPUBLIC for which it stands ..."

Oh me oh my.

Though I can understand the mere mention of God sends some people out for their pitchforks and torches, too. Red Skelton put it best, imo.

But don't forget, it doesn't matter what Obama does. It doesn't mean anything. There is no meaning behind his actions at all, not now, not before, possibly not ever. People are "reading into" his behavior and his choices unfairly.

Yes juni, I understand just how "passe" pledging allegiance to the Flag has become and I can certainly understand O'Bomber's aversion to wearing a US flag lapel pin.."it's phony patriotism" and surely, there is no one in America who would put his/her hand over their heart when the National Anthem is being played...except for just about all the US medal winners at the Olympics including the most highly paid professional athletes in the world; but then, they just don't get it now do they?

I didn't know Red Skelton had done that Eleanore.

See you both on November 4th too but you're going to have a long, long "drive" to vote Eleanore.
