I just read this article- Barack Obama: The 50 facts you might not know

and when I read this one-

• He was known as "O'Bomber" at high school for his skill at basketball

I couldn't help but think of jwhop and his favorite nickname for the man. Maybe they are secretly buddies? lol

eta- I find it especially funny that I imagine there were a lot of other people out there using that nickname as a way of trying to make fun or to insinuate that his candidacy was going to "bomb"- as in fail but in fact it was just sending out energy to this nickname that obviously had connotations to his skills in basketball... and now the election results reflect his "slam dunk".

Didn't we also call him Barry. As in the Bee movie

BTW I have a Leo BIL...
Obama's family man nature is similar to him.
