lol!my post didnt mean to excite any form of anti feminism but some laws in india are whack. our constitution defines all men and women equal but not only have our laws divided men and women they have also divided men from men and women from women. for example, the fact that there is a separat hindu marriage act and muslim marriage act giving muslim men the right to practice polygamy thereby giving muslim men advantage over hindum men as they can take the first wife for granted and giving hindu women advantage over muslim women as muslim women can't ensure faitfullness from their men. dont worry guys, women have been asking for equality , now they are going to get it..besides thyen law makers thought that women follow their family values and dont do such things ,hence the partiality.IP: Logged |

Thankfully, Equality for Women movements bring the Truth to light. Only ignorant people would not think that women would have sex outside of marriage. Ignorance dictated laws in Victorian England on Homosexuality, which outlawed intimacy between men. Laws were not passed for Lesbianism, because ignorant people did not think it existed. Thank goodness for educated feminists. They are the first to bring light to Truth on all matters of underprivileged groups. Feminists Protect!!! IP: Logged |

but women are cunning too. there are so many women in the field of law who should point out these flaws but they dont as they want to stay advantageous to men rather than equal.IP: Logged |

Ace ~I don't believe that anyone is trying to point out that men are stupid. But if they were implying that, please note that women have been called stupid for thousands of years. I'm for equality -- neither sex with more "rights" than the other. Ever since matriarchal societies who worshipped Goddesses and the Earth Mother were "discontinued," shall we say, thousands of years ago, men have had the "upper hand." Men had (and still have, in most countries) the power. Women were possessions, slaves, subjects. It's regrettable that sometimes when course corrections are made, the pendulum swings too far. It will eventually balance (I choose to be an optimist). Someday men and women will be equal, Co-Creators as Linda Goodman would say. IP: Logged |
