Yesterday, an african-american said to me "I feel as if I will be assuming office from tomorrow". Made me think "yes, it surely is an elevation for human consciousnes today". Its kindda like when fire was discovered by a troglodyte, darkness was no longer feared. Its a different story that many fear darkness until this day. Its hard to explain where this fear stems from. It is painted in everyones unconsciousness. Some see it and understands it and that very understanding sets them free. Some go on hoping that a messiah will come to rescue them. I wonder if they have pondered that one of their messiahs Jesus was an essene, who are taught to embrace darkness and not to fear it...there are techniques/methods on that...more later..Anyhow going offline. Everyones consciousness is affected. No man is an island. Its ego that makes one think that we are different from each other. Now that does not mean we should not differ on principles By the way, happy new year to all the members.

good or bad the colour barrier is cracked. now my grandson has a us president for a possible role model. and i will crack his head if he becomes a politician!!(joking!) but we will have to wait and see what this new president will bring to the table. whatever else he does, he has robbed "ethnic groups" of the excuse of their colour and origin...which has to be a step forward! Arie ~There has NEVER been an African-American US President..... There has never been a US President (before now) that was not a white male. IP: Logged |

If race has to be an issue, particularly in historical context, regarding this election ... I can say that I am glad that we have elected our first bi-racial president. He isn't just a white male or a black male but a melding of the two races. And I really think that this kind of racial melding is the future of America (as far as race is concerned). IP: Logged |

Obama is among the few Leos who outright give out such positive vibes, it brings a smile and hope on once face. It makes me forget all the vile feelings i otherwise have for leos, which have come out of experience offcourse.IP: Logged |

I swear I found the speech so boring. i walked out. I guess I just can't tolerate politician leaders of current times.Lincoln was great who Obama is trying to emulate. Very nice and humble. Infact his dad was a shoe maker. Not that I am trying to demean Obama as people did by pointing out irrelevantly to Lincoln 'remember your dad was a shoemaker for our family'. Obama is an elitist so thats not an excuse. I guess I treat all colors equally and judge them based on their words alone.

ahh i see now. thankyou for that Azalaksh,i never realised. thinking about it, i am pretty sure we have never had any african-british political figures in england. hmm. * Lincoln * a president i admire. did anyone read about him in Star Signs? i never realised his persistence, finally a president at 50something and made America better. then got assassinated. its a shame. and JFK, he could have brought a few darknesses to light.

Thanks lalaland, I don't think Lincoln's father was a shoemaker. I must have read an article somewhere and it stuck in my memory. But then something told me go verify. Thats when I verified , that he was a farmer or carpenter perhaps. Whatever it was, it was trying to make a point with a pseudo story If the Rabbi's can introduce a devil in the bible and get away with it, I could have too for thousands of years LOL. I think I was thinking with my right brain? Personally, I like to tell parables and stories instead of writing equations and solving problems. There is a time for the lest brain also , and at work really. Gee, I just can't help not mixing spirituality with politics. Sorry people if all this seems irrelevant. That point apart, everyone knows how humble Lincoln was. Even his appearance.
