I thought this was interesting:
http://www.bartleby.com/124/pres63.html That's the inauguration speech of Bush the I (W's dad). It reminds me a lot of Obama, even with the community pitching in and volunteering (his "thousand points of light"), though he replaces the war on some terror with the war on some drugs, and the economy was apparently doing a lot better. He's also shorter winded. Actually, skimming through some of the other inauguration speeches, I find that Obama's speech really wasn't that original, IMO. I thought others might like to see the spirals, too. IP: Logged |

Yep, the guy did not even write anything for the harvard journal while still studying law or we can't tell because everything is sealed and the rumor goes he was helped to write that 'dreams from my father' book by radicals.
Atleast, Bush was much original .

Obama's speech wasn't original at all... and yet people cried at the emotiveness of it all. Just shows how powerful a leader whom can "captivate and audience" like Hitler can be. IP: Logged |
