Finally he did something one expects from a leftist. I commend Obama for taking this step. Bush's policy was too hypocritical. As I mentioned before all the religions of the world wants more children and more population so that their temples can be in business in the name of charity. If I do support the ban, then there is this heartache of unique children never seeing light of the day, but when we consider mortality rate in third world countries and the poverty, then I ponder if its better for these children never to see the light. I really abhor all religions of the world.

its not just about abortion, its also about birth control, mannu. which india and a lot of other countries NEED. and the us was not interested in acknowledgin any country who engaged in birth control. this is outrageous as birth control is freely available right her in the states!birth control has nothing to do with leftist! and LEGAL abortion, which usually has provisos attached and limits, has GOT to be better than what is practiced when it is illegal. there are too many poor people ruining their lives and their kids' lives having more children than anyone can support..and while i understand the sympathy for unborn children, they will find another vessel and hopefully a better life another time or place or both...the soul is not killed with the embryo.. Well said Katatonic! and well done Obama. I saw a recent picture of him and he looked exhausted which I thought was a good thing, shows he is working at his pledges and we are seeing it in action.IP: Logged |
