Ralph Peters

AMERICA'S enemies smell blood and it's type "O."

All new administrations stumble a bit as they seek their footing. But President Obama's foreign-policy botches have set new records for instant incompetence.

Contrary to left-wing myths, I wasn't a fan of the Bush administration. (I called for Donald Rumsfeld to get the boot in mid-2001.) But fair's fair. Despite his many faults, Bush sought to do good. Obama just wants to look good.

Vice President Dick Cheney was arrogant. Vice President Joe Biden is arrogant and stupid. Take your pick.

Don't worry about the new administration's ideology. Worry about its terrifying naivete.

Consider a sampling of the goofs O and his crew have made in just two months:

China: Secretary of State Hillary Clinton (you know that gal married to the Saudi hireling) crawled to Beijing to tell the party bosses that human rights don't matter. Our "relationship" is more important than freedom and human dignity.

Beijing's response? A staged military confrontation with an unarmed US Navy vessel; continued screw-America currency cheating; a renewed crackdown on dissidents and, yesterday, a call for a new global currency to replace the dollar.

Thanks, Hill. You're a sweetheart.

Pakistan: With viral corruption throughout and Islamist fanatics sweeping half of its territory, Pakistan's coming apart. Its Dem-adored prez tries to ban opposition parties and gut the judiciary. It has nukes and seethes with hatred of America. And Islamabad controls our primary supply route into Afghanistan, using it as an extortion tool.

Obama's response? Billions in new aid for Pak pols to pocket. We'd be better off handing the money to AIG to pay out more bonuses.

Afghanistan: Obama's Vietnam. Am I the only American who remembers that candidate Obama had a plan to capture Osama bin Laden and fix our previous "mistakes" in Afghanistan? President Obama doesn't have a clue.

Iran: Obama tried to reach out, to talk. After all, talking got him to the White House. But America-bashing is what keeps Iran's leaders in office, it's their political essence. After 30 years of fierce hostility, hasn't anyone figured out that the senior mullahs need us as an enemy? Without the Great Satan America to blame, they'd have some real explaining to do to their homies. So O got the left-hand finger.

He wanted to chat with the Taliban, too. They told him he could stick it where the sun don't shine.

North Korea: Obama wanted a fresh start. North Korea's response? Threats of war with South Korea and the kidnapping of two American journalists. And the renewed pursuit of weapons of mass destruction, along with rocket tests.

Cuba: Obama would like to liberalize our relationship. The Castro boys told him to kiss off. They need an enemy, too. (Dear Mr. President: It's not always about us or how evil America is.)

Venezuela: Guess who else needs an enemy?

Mexico: The good news: Obama knows where it is on a map and recognizes that Mexico's government faces a narco-insurgency that threatens our country, too. His first action? Cave to the Teamsters, violate a lawful treaty on cross-border trucking, reignite fading anti-Americanism and undercut President Felipe Calderon.

Poland: Obama's stance on our bravest ally on the European continent? The Russians are more important than you are. He's sending the same message to Ukraine and Georgia.

Russia: Bolshie Biden, the commuting commissar, knows he's the man who can turn Russia into our best pal. After "Friend of Bill" Strobe Talbott tried and failed disastrously. And after poor W saw into Putin's soul, only to get his butt handed to him. "Uncle Joe" Biden has nothing to learn from past failures, though: He's got a re-set button.

Moscow's response to the Obama administration's bid for a new start? It threatens NATO members it once occupied and continues to back Iran's nuclear program. Plus, it bribes Kyrgystan to kick us off the critical-to-Afghanistan Manas airbase (then offers to help replace that supply lifeline, giving Russia a choke-hold on our troops).

Next, the Kremlin threatens massive re-armament and demands the abandonment of the dollar as the international reserve currency.

Obama's response? Push that re-set button again. And again.

At what point does naivete become cowardice?

As for our allies, Obama apparently needs them less than Bush did. O treated Britain's prime minister like the deputy Paraguayan veterinary inspector, and he blindsided the leaders of the Czech Republic, Poland, Mexico and Canada on issues ranging from missile defense to trade. But he'd like them to take the Gitmo terrorists off our hands, please.

**(Part of O'Bombers stated policy of bombing friends and allies and talking to enemies, no doubt)

The one bright spot thus far has been Iraq, where Obama quickly tossed aside his campaign promises. The O-man doesn't want to be on the blame-line for snatching defeat from the jaws of victory in Baghdad. And his MoveOn.org supporters can throw all the tantrums they want. (Breaking news, folks: O's a professional pol, not the messiah . . . )

Apart from Iraq a success Sen. Obama did all he could to prevent his foreign policy's an instant wasteland. By comparison, the Carter administration is starting to look like a model of manly strength, courage and patriotism.

acoustic, you couldn't have chosen a worse set of aspect interpretations to describe how I view and deal with the world at large or to describe my motivations.

Anyone who knows me in person would laugh in your face for putting forth such preposterous nonsense.

My style of expression here..on this forum.. is intentional, deliberate, purposeful and inflammatory. The purpose of which you should already know if you were capable of paying attention.

On the personal front, all in my circle of friends are strong personalities and we enjoy each others company. In that circle of friends there are some liberals...not leftists, liberals and not one of them voted for President Teleprompter. We all held our noses and voted for McCain/Palin knowing that President Teleprompter was pure Marxist Socialist poison. We are all goal oriented and results oriented personalities and those goals do not run to proving ourselves right but rather to "producing the best result" in whatever we're involved in. There is no competition to be "seen" as being right and there's no competition to be "seen" or even "be" leader of the group. We're a circle of equals.

On the other hand your need to be "seen" to be right goes hand in hand with your deceptiveness on this forum and is evident in much of what you've said here, in your lying allegations which you cannot in any way prove, in your constant denials of facts including your denial of commonly accepted dictionary definitions of common English words.

Your belief that whatever people can be convinced is "true" IS "true" is some of the most utter nonsense I've seen but it's a staple of leftist ideology. Your belief that lining up people who agree with you makes you right is equally a non-starter. Truth by consensus opinion is nonsense.

Your constant need to surround yourself with a support group to give you positive affirmations and positive strokes is the strongest proof you're still operating from your Cancer South Node and not Capricorn North Node. You've had a very strong warning that personal catastrophe lies at the end of that road.

Another retarded post, huh?

Sounds an awful lot like peer review once again, Jwhop. It's true that many scientists are Democrat-leaning people.

And what is it you would call yourself doing with your constant horse manure? Are you not attempting to convince? People argue a lot less with me than they do you, right? Why is that, do you think? (Maybe it's the perception of an agenda.)

Incidentally, those interps perfectly describe you, but one wouldn't need them in order to glean this knowledge. "It's written all over your face," as the saying goes.

My interpretations exactly describe your statements and actions on this forum.

Your nonsense comes no where close to the mark in describing my motivations here.

I've told you over and over and you still can't get it. Pull your head out acoustic...if you still can.

As I said..in way over his head. Now, tax evader Geithner, President Teleprompter's choice for Sec Treasury causes a collapse of the dollar on world markets.

These clowns couldn't do a better job of screwing up America if they were trying.

So, where's the lying news media on this story?...No where to be found. Lying by ommission.

March 26, 2009
Geithner's stupidity almost singlehandedly wrecks the dollar
Rick Moran

You may have heard of the dollar's steep drop yesterday on the currency markets. It was because our incompetent Secretary of the Treasury opened his mouth and put his foot in it:

As if the dollar didn't have enough problems, Timothy Geithner took China's bait yesterday and said he was "quite open" to its suggestion this week to displace the greenback with an "international reserve currency." The dollar promptly fell and stocks followed, before the Treasury Secretary re-emerged to say "the dollar remains the world's dominant reserve currency. I think that's likely to continue for a long time."

In fact, Geithner's boss said at the previous evening's press conference in response to musings by the Chinese that the world should wean itself from the dollar that he had no intention of doing anything to affect the reserve status of the greenback.

But here was Secretary Howdy Doody mindlessly opining that hey! Might be something to that Chinese idea to kill the dollar.

Maybe he didn't realize it was the American currency he was talking about. Perhaps he thought tanking the dollar was a good idea.

Or maybe he's the biggest boob in an Administration full of them.

We don't expect the media to do its job and hound Obama to get rid of this fool. Neither do we expect the left to put any pressure on the Administration to send Geithner packing.

But I'll bet sometime during yesterday's dollar sell off, Obama wished that Republicans had made a bigger deal out of Geithner's tax problems and forced him to name someone else.

That linked article above is from the Wall Street Journal that gives some additional background on what the Chinese might be after with regards to getting rid of the dollar as a reserve currency.

It's a 3 ring circus at President Teleprompter's White House. The clowns are all there. All that's missing is hot buttered popcorn.

"The most "Open", "Transparent" and "Ethical" administration in history.

Another one bites the dust
Dennis Sevakis

Yet another Obama senior appointee has withdrawn from consideration. Josh Gerstein reports for Politico:

President Barack Obama's nominee to be the No. 2 official at the Environmental Protection Agency, Jon Cannon, withdrew Wednesday after it was disclosed that he was on the board of a nonprofit group faulted for mishandling federal grant money.

"Today I am voluntarily removing my name from consideration to be Deputy Administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency," Cannon said in a statement released by EPA. "It has come to my attention that America's Clean Water Foundation, where I once served on the board of directors, has become the subject of scrutiny. While my service on the board of that now-dissolved organization is not the subject of the scrutiny, I believe the energy and environmental challenges facing our nation are too great to delay confirmation for this position, and I do not wish to present any distraction to the agency."

Voters should ask themselves why so many people favored by Barack Obama do not have clean records.

Your interpretations are as queer as your ideas on a lot of things.

Your motivations here are readily apparent to everyone...except yourself apparently, which is exactly in keeping with your rather subjective nature.

When are you going to understand that I don't think your mind is capable of processing information adequately or objectively (much like the majority of people here have thought of you over the years)? You can tell me something as many times as you like, and if it's wrong the first time it will continue to be wrong until the last utterance. The only one too stubborn to see anything is you.

When are you going to understand I abandoned...long ago, any notion that you are intellectually capable of understanding much of anything; including English?

I will give you credit for something however. You have shown yourself capable of picking up on lying leftist bumper sticker slogans and parroting them here.

Unfortunately, when called on the lies, you go into denial mode and begin to skate, waffle, duck, bob and weave because you can't back up the lying accusations with any facts.

Maybe when you show that it's not on your to-do list to try to find a way to undo me.

You are truly a silly man.

There are no leftist bumper stickers that I parrot here. In contrast, there are loads and loads of articles from Republican editorials and sites here...even in just this thread.

You don't call me on lies, Jwhop. You don't do anything to me except try to undermine the fact that I successfully counter balance your nonsense.

What will you come up with next?

Your undoing is self inflicted acoustic and none of my doing.

The nonsense you've parroted here was first seen on move on, daily kos and demoscat underground..to name a few nutty putty leftist sites spewing the same nonsense you've spewed here.

As for your "balancing act" here acoustic, you must be unbalanced to so much as venture such nonsense. The truth cannot be balanced with lies.

So you don't like some of the sources of what I post. Big deal. At any time, you can jump right in and point out the lies the articles contain and I challenge you to do so.

If you would like, I'll even provide an accurate, commonly accepted dictionary definition of "lie" for you.

What undoing, Jwhop? There hasn't been any undoing of me? Not by you, and neither by me.

quote:

I have done so on many occasions. You simply have selective memory.

You want a lie from something recent? How about a few posts up? "Geithner's stupidity almost singlehandedly wrecks the dollar." It's right there in the title. The dollar hasn't been wrecked, so no one could have singlehandedly wrecked it. It's a false statement. A more honest headline would have been Dollar Declines on Geithner's "Openness". To further distance things from actual news reporting, though, this is an opinion journal's (your words, not mine) opinion on an opinion piece in the WSJ. Opinion twice over, and regurgitated here by you. What an intellect!

quote:
If you would like, I'll even provide an accurate, commonly accepted dictionary definition of "lie" for you.

Last time we discussed the definition of lie (which is in one of the links I posted earlier in this thread) you lost pretty miserably. I provided you with not just one, but a few or several common definitions of "lie".

Still haven't gotten a handle on the English language have you acoustic!

You don't know what "most" means and now you show you don't know what "almost" means either. Those indefinite quantifiers really stump you.

As to how many times you've jumped in and called out lies in articles I posted...I recall that number is none, zip, nada, zilch. Feel free to let your fingers do the walking back through this forums threads so you can find all those instances you say exist...and post links right here.

The article headline you mischaracterized didn't say "wrecked". It said "almost wrecked" and that's accurate. The dollar was falling so fast against other currencies Geithner had to come out and eat his own words. In fact, since the clown at Treasury and the Clown in Chief took over, the dollar has lost at least 10 cents against the Euro and it had been gaining. When intraday currency trading is considered, it's been down more than 10 cents against the Euro.

"Well, here's a story the White House probably isn't too thrilled about. Speaking at the Council on Foreign Relations today, Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner stated that he was "open" to a proposal by the governor of China's central bank to replace the dollar with a new global currency:

"We’re actually quite open to that suggestion – you should see it as rather evolutionary rather building on the current architecture rather than moving us to global monetary union," he said."
http://briefingroom.thehill.com/2009/03/25/global-currency-story-gains-steam/

What this clown said was so alarming that legislation was introduced in the House to bar foreign currency from replacing the dollar.

"March 26, 2009
Bachmann bill would ban global currency
@ 1:31 pm by Eric Zimmermann

Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-MN) has introduced legislation that would "bar the dollar from being replace(d) by any foreign currency."

A statement from Bachmann's website:
“Yesterday, during a Financial Services Committee hearing, I asked Secretary Geithner if he would denounce efforts to move towards a global currency and he answered unequivocally that he would," said Bachmann. "And President Obama gave the nation the same assurances. But just a day later, Secretary Geithner has left the option on the table. I want to know which it is. The American people deserve to know."
http://briefingroom.thehill.com/2009/03/26/bachmann-bill-would-ban-global-currency/

Unlike the lying MSM which you cling to acoustic; those who lie in what are supposed to be hard news stories, this article was an opinion piece and no lies were told.

It actually said, "almost singlehandedly wrecked." You've taken something out of context again. Furthermore, if the way you mistakenly read it was correct being down 10 cents against the Euro is not nearly "wrecking" the dollar.

And, please. Trying to throw the definition of "most" in my face from an argument you lost over and over again over a period of years? Retarded.

meanwhile, the bankers are trying to buy up all the toxic debts at the lowest price possible so they can resell them to us when the price goes up.

so what are we doing here arguing AMONGST OURSELVES?? what are we going to do about this NONPARTISAN SQUEEZE BY THE GOVERNMENT??

it's not about democrats and republicans. it's about the sucking of all the money out of our economy by - the people who already have more than enough!!

the wealth is going to have to be redistributed by someone. because it is being mined and hoarded from the people by the moneylenders every day of the last 30+ years, maybe even 100+.

well there's always marching. and the tea parties already going on. i am no revolutionary expert. but start by understanding that the enemy is not one political party or one president, and like i said, talking amongst ourselves about what we can do, instead of arguing for one side or another...like bob basso, in that video, said an impressive number of people marching on washington could be a good start...

and jwhop, as you pointed out in the sarah palin thing, being investigated does NOT mean you are guilty...but it does throw a wrench in the works and slow down approval of positions like this.

so the question is why are there so many investigations being started against the people obama has picked? could it be plain obstructionism at work?? or is it only republicans who are victims of this syndrome?

Another tax cheat nominated by President O'Bomber.

Now I ask you; can this guy pick em...or what?

Based on what we're seeing in O'Bomber cabinet picks, I think every demoscat in America should have their income tax returns audited. It's clear that all that screeching, howling, foot stamping and shrieking coming off demoscats about everyone paying their "fair share" doesn't apply to them.

April 01, 2009
Another day, another Obama pick discovered to be a tax cheat
Ethel C. Fenig

Kansas governor Kathleen Sebelius (D), President Barack Hussein Obama's (D) nominee for Secretary of Health and Human Services, certainly has maintained the standards the president is seeking for personnel in his administration--she owes back taxes.

CBS News has obtained Sebelius' letter to the Senate Finance Committee. She writes in it that she and her husband hired a Certified Public Accountant to review their returns after her nomination and that the CPA uncovered the errors, after which they amended their returns.

Blithely labeling the errors "unintentional," she could not document some charitable contributions and business (government) expenses deductions plus erred in reporting on the sale of a home. Covering three years from 2005-2007, Sebelius and her husband, a judge, paid over $7000 in back taxes plus nearly $900 in interest to cover the amount owed.

But not to worry Governor Sebelius. Senator Max Baucus (D-Montana), head of the Finance Committee, immediately released a reassuring release.

“There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that Governor Sebelius has the political experience, determination, and bipartisan work ethic to get the job done with Congress this year," he said. "She’s the right person for the job and I look forward to hearing from her at the Finance Committee’s hearing on Thursday.”
http://www.americanthinker.com/blog/2009/04/another_day_another_obama_pick.html

The O in O'Bomber is still for O-ver-Rated.
