Hi,

What media did you use?

Initially I would say Photoshop, maybe some 3D software something like Bryce 3D, only looked at the ones in the opening string...liked the sphere with Isis, or was it airbrushes, acrylic etc.

Would be interested to find out.

Cheers mambo

Hi!

It is Photoshop with lots of different kinds of filters you can buy for Photoshop (like KPT). That's it!

I'm happy to help if you have any more questions!

Amber you're very talented.

How did you design Isis, was it drawn and then scanned? Or was it these filters you are talking about? Did you use lighting effects for the 3D effect on the sphere?

Thank you!

Yes Isis was drawn and scanned in. The lighting effects is a lense flare effect by KPT but I think that the basic Photoshop filters have a simpler version of the lense flare under "render". The KPT offers more options, though.

I like to use lots of spheres in my work. KPT is good for that, too.

Here's one of my webpages.. you can check out the art on the main page: http://www.nickrhodesisgod.com

I actually did that one with just the basic Photoshop filters. No KPT filters.

For a couple of my pieces that I posted links for in the other thread, I used Poser to create the women's bodies. Sometimes I'll use photographs also!

Have you got or used the Photoshop Wow book? I find it very useful, especially in creating metal and edges aglow.

I presume you use a Mac, if so what is it?

I don't have the Photoshop Wow book. Maybe I'll look into that and see what it's like! I'm pretty much self-taught and learn by playing but I should look at the books because they can probably open to my eyes to lots of things I didn't know could be done!

I use a Mac and a PC but most of the time a Mac for Photoshop stuff. I have a Blueberry iBook. I think it's 300 MHz.. I have to update very sooon! What do you use?
