This poem below expresses how I now feel toward a certain person, the aforementioned Taurean of the "letter/poem" *************************** I’m hurt and shaken Talking to a wall Is he really full of air? Or simply an enigma?Idiot, Taurean… If you want me to go And leave you alone Please tell me so In words I can understand One sided talks Just aren’t my bag I deal with reality And up front honesty What is there lacking? In the brain I believe That you might possess Until your voice is silent Let me be In my fantasy world Consumed with the thought I could interest you But never let people Really catch a glimpse Of what resides In the stocky built frame I could go on for hours About a broken illusion I suppose that’s my reward For sharing my hopes with you

To quote the rock band Nazareth "Love Hurts", I don't think there is one person on this planet who hasn't had feelings for another, and not have them feel the same way back. It's certainly happened to me. Cheer Up, you'll find someone. MamboIP: Logged |

OH YES, i must add the rest, it's comin to me so fast! Everything I'v ever feared is in the thought of you For my fear is to loose you The thought haunts me till the day I die or beyond But the greater fear is that I'll never have you By that I could never loose you I'd rather have you and loose you as opposed to never having you There is no greater fear! Glad I could sum up other's emotions too. I am so hurt by this person that the poem is directed at. It reminds me of a certain song that I heard on the radio... (All You Wanted by Michelle Branch) "I wanted, to be like you I wanted everything So I tried, to be like you And I got swept away I didn't know that You were so cold and You needed someone to show you the way"

Hi VirgoAA There was a time when the song "Thats all" by Genesis totaled my feelings for my ex....'you tell me it's black when I know that it's white' But I want to share with you...the poem that has become ...after time to heal and grow from the experience...the poem that has become my poem to him: "You were the best of Loves you were the worst of Loves.... and you left behind several unintended gifts: through you I re-examined my need (uh desire?) for one significant other to share my life-space with. you commanded in me an unwilling re-evaluation of self, behavior patterns, relationshipping, & a corresponding change in attitudes; i.e. growth. I'm nicer to people. I'm more in touch with my feelings, the things and persons around me. Life. And, of course, a scattering of poems (the best of poems, the worst of poems) that never would have been without your disruptions. Thanks.' By Melba Colgrove Harold Bloomfield & Peter McWilliams...(I'm not sure which one wrote it...so I will credit all the authors of this book ) They have another one that might cheer you up.... "She asked me if seeing you was a drain. seeing you is not a drain it's a sewer." feel better? and Dani IP: Logged |

Thanks Dani. Those poems did help a bit. I have to keep in mind that I grew from the experience of sharing the words that I did with him, even if he didn't want to hear them. He inspired at least ten or more poems, and those I can still hold onto. and Light.------------------ -K "Most people love with restraint As if they were someday to hate We hated gently, carefully As if we were someday to love"-Venus Trines at Midnight IP: Logged |
